416: Star Devouring Technique Reverse Pull

The star map on the giant bronze door gleamed with a cold, ghostly blue light under the moonlight; Su Han could feel the Star-Sand Spear emitting a faint hum.

Those grains of star-sand were not static but flowed slowly along the spear shaft like liquid metal, each tiny speck refracting countless miniature galaxies.

This was identical to the liquid starlight that appeared in his blood when the residual power of the Erosion Abyss erupted.

"This door..."

Bi Yao's voice came from behind him. Her gold-patterned right arm had returned to normal, with only a few wisps of ash remaining on her cuff to prove that a battle had occurred not long ago.

At this moment, the entire giant bronze door lit up with a blinding blue light simultaneously.

A bottomless starry tunnel appeared behind the door, with countless points of light speeding through it...

Looking closely, those points of light were actually miniature versions of Su Han, and each Clone was repeating a different scene of death:

being swallowed by star flames, being pierced by chains, being dissolved by his own blood...

"Spacetime Anchoring!"

The Gravekeeper's voice came from the center of the storm.

Her gold-patterned right arm had become completely transparent, the entire arm appearing as if it were cast from flowing star-sand.

She forcefully pressed her palm against Su Han's chest, and burning runes crawled up her arm and onto Su Han's back:

"Use the Star-Devouring Art for reverse traction!"

Su Han's pupils instantly contracted into vertical, beast-like slits.

He instinctively formed hand Seals, and a massive surge of heat suddenly erupted within his body.

The blood that had been swallowed by the stone pillars began to boil in reverse, condensing into a burning galaxy on the surface of his skin.

The points of light on the giant bronze door were pulled by the traction, and thousands of "Su Han" Clones were dragged out from within the door, falling to the ground like a torrential rain.

The sculptures on the stone pillars let out pained hisses.

Black viscous liquid began to flow from the eye sockets of the human-faced, snake-bodied reliefs, and those oracle bone script characters decayed and peeled off at a speed visible to the naked eye.

But just as the six stone pillars were about to collapse, the central pillar exploded with a boom...

It was not a physical shattering, but a tearing of space itself.

Countless black vines extended from the abyss-like rift, each vine tipped with a star core the size of a human head. When these crystalline objects collided, they actually produced an eerie harmony.

The Gravekeeper's golden light suddenly dimmed.

"Watch out!"

As she pushed Su Han away, a vine wrapped in black mist brushed past her back.

The moment Su Han turned around, he saw that the woman's gold-patterned right arm had carbonized, but what was more terrifying was that after the black mist touched her skin, it had imprinted runes identical to those on the bronze pillars beneath her epidermis.

The Star-Sand Spear suddenly turned its tip.

Su Han saw his reflection distort and deform on the spear shaft, and he couldn't tell if it was stardust or his own eyes reflecting an identical blood-colored star core.

When the spear tip pierced into the central rift, the entire space instantly flipped.

The cliff beneath their feet began to melt, turning into countless bronze gears interlocking with each other, while the true sky above was an inverted sea of stars, with tens of thousands of stars dragging tails as they fell toward the ground.

"So that's how it is."

Su Han felt something deep within his memories shatter with a roar.

The Erosion Abyss was a decomposition device used to suppress some existence—and the Gravekeeper's Bloodline was precisely the living energy maintaining this System.

Thinking this, Su Han used the spear tip to press against a rotating dark purple star core.

When the Star-Sand Spear resonated with the ancient Seal, Su Han saw the most terrifying sight:

At the core of this Star-Gate System, there floated a body completely identical to his own.

That "he" was covered in blood vessel-like light veins, and every ray of light was replaying a different death memory... exactly the same experiences as all the Clones he had just seen on the giant bronze door.

"You are not the first."

That Mirror Su Han suddenly spoke, his voice resounding directly in his mind.

"And you will not be the last." (End of Chapter)
