363: Behead!

Amidst the crisp sound of the Silver Bell, the steady steps of the lizard-like monster showed a hint of disorder.

A flicker of annoyance seemed to flash in its blood-red eyes, and its head restlessly swayed from side to side.

Su Han seized this opportunity, his feet lightly tapping the ground, his figure like a ghost as he swiftly charged towards the monster, the sword in his hand flashing with cold light, aimed directly at the monster's neck.

The monster's reaction was also extremely quick; its thick tail, like an iron rod, swept towards Su Han with a whooshing sound.

Su Han's expression turned serious; he dodged to the side, and the tail brushed past his clothes. If he had been hit, several of his ribs would likely have broken.

He flipped in the air, adjusted his posture, and attacked the monster again.

Bi Yao concentrated fully, shaking the Silver Bell, the ringing sometimes rapid, sometimes slow, trying hard to interfere with the monster's actions.

Her forehead was already covered in fine sweat beads; prolonged concentration made her feel somewhat tired, but she knew she absolutely could not relax even a little at this moment.

Su Han's attacks, like a fierce storm, continuously landed on the monster's body, but the sharp scales on the monster's body were like armor.

They defended it against most of the damage; Su Han's sword striking the scales only produced sparks, making it difficult to cause substantial injury.

The monster was enraged by Su Han's attack; it opened its gaping maw and let out a deafening roar, green viscous fluid splattering out like raindrops.

Su Han quickly retreated to dodge; the viscous fluid landed on the ground, making a "sizzling" sound and instantly corroding small pits.

He secretly cursed his luck; not only was this monster's defense astonishing, but the toxicity accompanying its attacks was also extremely troublesome.

Just then, the monster lunged forward fiercely, its two huge claws reaching for Su Han.

Su Han had nowhere to dodge and could only use his sword to desperately resist.

With a "crack," a crack appeared in the sword under the monster's immense strength.

Su Han was greatly alarmed; this sword had been with him for many years, having gone through countless battles, and had never been so fragile.

Seeing this scene, Bi Yao was extremely anxious. While shaking the Silver Bell, she looked around, trying to find a way to help Su Han.

Suddenly, she noticed several protruding, sharp-shaped stones on the cave wall.

An idea struck her; she ran towards the wall, then leaped forcefully, reached out and grabbed a protruding stone, and pulled hard.

The stone loosened, but her hand was also cut, bleeding profusely.

Bi Yao ignored the pain and threw the broken-off stone towards the monster.

With the Silver Bell's interference, the stone accurately hit the monster's eye.

The monster cried out in pain, letting out a mournful roar, one of its eyes instantly blurred with blood.

Su Han seized this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; he gathered all his strength into his right hand, the cracked sword in his hand shining with unprecedented light.

He let out a loud shout and used all his strength to stab towards the monster's injured eye.

This sword strike contained all his hope and determination.

With a "thump," the sword deeply pierced the monster's eye, burying more than half of the blade.

The monster began to struggle madly; its huge body crashed wildly through the cave, the cave walls struck by it sending stones flying.

Su Han was thrown back by the force generated by the monster's struggle, falling heavily to the ground and spitting out a mouthful of blood.

Bi Yao quickly ran to Su Han's side, helped him up, and asked worriedly, "Su Han, how are you?"

Su Han wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said weakly, "I'm okay, this monster... it's almost done for."

Indeed, after struggling madly for a while, the lizard-like monster slowly fell to the ground, twitched a few times, and then stopped moving.

Su Han and Bi Yao both breathed a sigh of relief; they collapsed on the ground, gasping for breath, exhaustion washing over them like a tide.
