500: Lord of Bones
“Overestimating itself!”
The Bone-Corroding Knight sneered, thrusting its bone spear forward, attempting to flick the energy sphere away with it.
However, the moment the tip of the bone spear touched the black energy sphere, the smile on its face instantly froze.
The Undead Mage energy on the bone spear rapidly dissipated as if it had encountered its nemesis, and the spear tip began to annihilate at a visible rate. The black energy sphere passed through the bone spear without hindrance, continuing to shoot towards it.
The Bone-Corroding Knight’s expression changed drastically. It tried to dodge but found its body confined by an invisible force.
That was the power of Dead Silence released by Su Han; though weak, it precisely restricted its movements.
“No!”
The Bone-Corroding Knight let out a desperate roar, and the black energy sphere instantly struck its chest.
There was no explosion, no loud sound. The Bone-Corroding Knight’s body rapidly melted like ice and snow, starting from its chest and gradually turning into nothingness, leaving not even a trace of bone dust.
The Soul Fire in its eye sockets was completely annihilated the moment it touched the energy sphere, not even a spark remained.
Having dealt with the Bone-Corroding Knight, the black energy sphere’s speed did not diminish at all, continuing to shoot towards the head of the Bone Dragon Molin.
The crimson Soul Fire in Molin’s eye sockets flickered violently, clearly sensing the threat of death.
It violently shook its head, attempting to avoid the energy sphere, and at the same time, opened its mouth, once again spewing out an even denser Undead Mage Dragon Breath, trying to block the energy sphere’s path.
However, all of this was futile.
The black energy sphere easily penetrated the Undead Mage Dragon Breath, its speed undiminished, and instantly struck Molin’s head.
“Crack!”
A crisp cracking sound rang out as the black bones on Molin’s head began to rapidly crack, with grayish-white mist seeping from the fissures.
That was the Undead Mage energy within its body being annihilated by the power of Chaos. Molin let out a painful roar, its massive body lost balance, and it began to fall towards the ground.
Su Han did not give it any chance to breathe.
He stomped his feet fiercely, his body leaping up like an arrow released from a bowstring. The Chaos Force Field around him was highly condensed into his right hand, forming a Chaos Battle Blade several meters long.
He flipped his body in the air, his right hand slashing down violently. The Chaos Battle Blade, with a whistling sound that tore through the air, cut towards the falling Molin’s neck.
“Pfft!”
As easily as cutting tofu, Molin’s neck bones, which were harder than steel, were instantly severed.
Its head rolled to the ground, the crimson Soul Fire in its eye sockets rapidly dimmed, and finally extinguished completely.
The massive body, losing the support of its head, crashed heavily to the ground with a deafening thud, creating a huge deep pit in the ground. The surrounding Undead Mage Knights were thrown off balance by the shockwave.
Su Han slowly landed on the ground, the Chaos Battle Blade dissipated. His face was as pale as paper, and his Qi had become extremely unstable. The Chaos Force Field around him began to flicker on and off, clearly having reached its limit.
But his eyes remained sharp as he scanned the remaining Undead Mage Knights.
Those Undead Mage Knights, seeing that both the Bone Dragon Lord and the Bone-Corroding Knight had been instantly killed, were already scared Soul Flying Away and Spirit Scattering.
They let out terrified wails, no longer caring about any orders, and all turned their horses around, fleeing into the darkness.
Su Han did not give chase — his body could no longer support another battle.
He slowly closed his eyes and began to adjust the chaotic power within his body, and the Chaos Force Field slowly retracted into him.
The Undead Mage quickly stepped forward, supporting the tottering Su Han, his voice filled with worry:
“Master, are you alright? Your Qi is very unstable; you need to rest immediately!”
Su Han slowly opened his eyes, waved his hand, his voice somewhat weak but still carrying authority:
“It’s nothing, just excessive power consumption.”
He looked in the direction where the Undead Mage Knights had fled, his brows slightly furrowed.
“Since Lord Kugu could send out the Bone Dragon Knight Regiment, it means his main forces should not be far from here.
We must leave here as soon as possible and head to ‘Blackrock City’ ahead. There are still Mortal Realm defenders there; we need to rendezvous with them.”
Just then, an even more terrifying aura suddenly emanated from the darkness in the distance.
That aura was several times more powerful than the Bone Dragon Molin, carrying an oppressive majesty that seemed to make the entire Boneyard tremble under its presence.
Su Han’s expression instantly became solemn:
“It seems we don’t have much time.”
“Lord Kugu has come personally.”
The Undead Mage’s body trembled violently. He looked up at the darkness in the distance, his eyes filled with fear.
He knew that a more brutal battle was about to begin.
And this time, they would be facing one of the most powerful lords of the Spirit Realm — Lord Kugu! (End of this chapter)
