368: Countless red eyes

Bi Yao saw Su Han was injured again, and her heart was filled with despair.

But the stubbornness in her bones made her unwilling to give up just like that. She used her last ounce of strength and threw the Silver Bell towards the Monster.

The Silver Bell drew an arc in the air and accurately hit the Monster's head.

After being hit by the Silver Bell, the Monster's body trembled violently, and a hint of fear appeared in its eyes.

Immediately after, its body began to sway, and finally crashed to the ground.

Su Han and Bi Yao looked at the fallen Monster, and both felt a sense of relief.

But before they could be happy, they found that the Monster's body began to change.

They saw the Monster's body gradually become transparent, and finally turned into a mass of black mist, slowly dissipating into the air.

As the Monster dissipated, the surrounding temperature seemed to rise, and the eerie aura also gradually weakened.

Su Han and Bi Yao helped each other up. They looked at the still dim stairs ahead, and their hearts were full of confusion.

After this fierce battle, their Spirit Energy was almost exhausted, and their bodies were extremely tired. They didn't know what kind of dangers awaited them ahead.

But they knew that since they had come this far, they couldn't give up easily.

So, they encouraged each other and once again took heavy steps, slowly walking down the stairs.

With every step, Su Han felt his body was as heavy as if it were filled with lead, and his vision also began to blur.

Bi Yao was not much better either. Her steps were unsteady, and she could barely move forward, almost entirely relying on Su Han's support.

The surrounding environment was still terrifyingly silent, with only their heavy footsteps echoing in the passage.

As they went deeper, the runes on the stair walls had completely dimmed, and the entire passage plunged into darkness.

Su Han laboriously took out a night-shining pearl from his pocket. The night-shining pearl emitted a faint light, illuminating a small section of the path ahead of them.

Just as they continued forward for a distance, they suddenly heard the sound of flowing water coming from ahead.

Su Han and Bi Yao exchanged glances, and they both saw a glimmer of hope in each other's eyes.

In this state of extreme exhaustion and dehydration, a water source was undoubtedly a life-saving straw for them.

They quickened their pace and walked towards the direction from which the sound of flowing water came.

Soon, they arrived inside a large cave. In the center of the cave, a clear stream was slowly flowing.

Su Han and Bi Yao eagerly ran to the side of the stream, squatted down, cupped the water with their hands, and drank it in large gulps.

The cool stream water flowed down their throats, moisturizing their parched bodies and making them feel some strength return.

After drinking their fill, Su Han and Bi Yao sat by the stream and began to recover their Spirit Energy.

They closed their eyes and circulated the Spirit Energy within their bodies, trying to bring some relief to their tired bodies.

However, just as they had entered a state of cultivation not long after, a strange sound suddenly echoed in the cave.

The sound was like countless insects crawling, and also like some kind of low chanting, making one's hair stand on end.

Su Han and Bi Yao instantly opened their eyes and looked around vigilantly.

They found that many small cracks had appeared on the cave walls at some point. Some black mist continuously poured out from the cracks, and countless pairs of red-glowing eyes seemed to be hidden within the mist.

Su Han quickly shielded Bi Yao behind him. Although his body had not yet recovered, his gaze was sharp as an eagle's, fixed on the cracks and the mist.

Bi Yao also stood up, clenched her fists tightly, trying to mobilize the remaining Spirit Energy within her body.

The black mist grew thicker, gradually closing in on them. The flickering red eyes appeared and disappeared in the mist, their sheer number making one's scalp tingle.
