54: Full power, crush! (Seeking 10,000 monthly votes daily)

Locke Galahad said this merely to tease Kraven.

Seeing that Kraven had actually taken the bait, he purposely said with a slight chuckle:

"It's not really a huge condition. Just come out now and die in front of me, and I'll give you the bulletproof suit."

"Of course, if you're afraid you won't receive it, I can burn it for you instead."

"You're messing with me!"

Kraven immediately realized that Locke Galahad was making fun of him. "You bastard, how dare you mess with me!"

"Mess with you? Not only am I messing with you, but I'm also going to kill you. Do you think this is child's play? Don't be so naive."

Locke Galahad kept moving through the room with his revolver raised, trying to find a better firing position, continuing to mock him as he moved:

"Or could it be you thought I didn't know this bulletproof suit I'm wearing is a supernatural item?"

Locke Galahad couldn't help but want to laugh.

He hadn't expected that in such a situation, Kraven would still have the heart to set his sights on his 【bulletproof suit】.

He even wanted to pull some petty tricks.

Honestly, if he hadn't made up his mind to kill Kraven directly today, Locke Galahad would have really wanted to use the side effects of the 【bulletproof suit】 to ambush Kraven.

Presumably, Kraven's expression would be quite a sight once he knew the truth.

"You even know about supernatural matters?"

Kraven was somewhat surprised and quickly shook his head, completely unable to believe the knowledge Locke Galahad was displaying.

"You actually know you're wearing a supernatural item? That's impossible. How old are you? How could you possibly know so much?"

"I've lived for hundreds of years, and only just barely obtained an opportunity. How could you know…"

The main thing was that no matter how one looked at it, Locke Galahad was only in his twenties and had joined the Vampire organization less than a few days ago. Not only did he possess a supernatural item that Kraven had never owned, but he was also very knowledgeable about such things.

How could someone like him, who prided himself on having given his all and even abandoned his dignity to reach this point, accept that?

"Nothing in the world is impossible. Didn't your parents teach you that when you were little?"

Locke Galahad's gaze was cold but carried a hint of disdain as he probed with his words:

"Or did the person from the Secret Cult behind you not warn you to keep a low profile?"

Boom!

Locke Galahad's words exploded in Kraven's mind like a clap of thunder.

This caused Kraven to immediately turn pale with shock.

The main thing was that the existence of the person behind him was something he had never told anyone. He couldn't understand how a small fry like Locke Galahad knew about it.

Because this was like an elephant wrestling with an ant, only for the ant to directly reveal its trump card; no one could help but panic in such a situation.

Looking at Locke Galahad's calm expression, Kraven almost couldn't hold the gun in his hand steady.

The bullets fired in succession were outrageously off-target. Never mind injuring Locke Galahad, he couldn't even dirty his bulletproof suit, making him look incredibly amateurish.

"Impossible, this is impossible. How did you know there was someone behind me!"

Kraven's eyes were fierce as he stared intently at Locke Galahad. He looked fierce on the surface, but he was terrified inside.

He was extremely afraid that he would be abandoned by the big shot behind him.

Most importantly, seeing that Locke Galahad knew so much, he couldn't help but suspect that Locke Galahad was a new character chosen by the person behind him, specifically meant to replace him.

"So you really do have someone behind you, huh? Who is that person? If you're willing to tell me honestly, I might consider letting you die a quick death later."

Locke Galahad hadn't expected that by just asking casually, Kraven would spill his secrets. However, this merely confirmed his guess, so he didn't show any particular joy upon hearing this news.

Of course, while speaking, he didn't forget to keep firing to put pressure on Kraven.

"You bluffed me?"

Kraven gritted his teeth, his entire face trembling, hating him so much he could gnash his teeth. "At a time like this, you still have the heart to try and extract information from me? Are you really not afraid of death?"

"Whether I'm afraid of death or not, does that have much to do with you?"

Locke Galahad dismissed Kraven's threat with disdain: "You aren't capable of killing me."

"Since you know there's someone behind me, you should have realized that I can't be the same as those ordinary Vampires."

Having said that, Kraven stood out from behind the stone pillar, facing the dark muzzle of his gun without any fear: "You forced me to do this. I originally didn't intend to reveal my full strength, but since it's come to this, neither you nor Serena will be able to escape today."

He was very confident in his strength. Having practiced the secret codex for so many years, he had never fully revealed his power.

Today, Locke Galahad had given him such an opportunity.

"Oh, is that so? Why don't I believe you can do it."

Having said that, Locke Galahad emptied all the bullets from his revolver and then put it away directly.

Seeing Kraven's behavior, he guessed that the other party intended to fight him with his full strength next, so he didn't plan on holding back anymore either.

At their level of strength, this kind of ordinary gun and bullets could no longer cause much effective damage.

Using a gun to deal with average characters was fine, but trying to use a gun to deal with him and Kraven, people who had already stepped onto the path of supernatural transformation, seemed somewhat powerless.

Of course, Locke Galahad hadn't counted on killing Kraven with the revolver in his hand from the start.

The previous sneak attack was just a simple attempt; if he could take him out, that would be best, but if not, he had other means.

For a Sequence 9 Night Demon, the strongest point was never marksmanship, but that incomparably powerful body. A body that far surpassed that of ordinary Vampires and werewolves.

Based on the brief exchange, Locke Galahad had roughly guessed what level Kraven's strength was at.

To be able to dodge bullets with physical reflexes, and bullets from a sharpshooter like him at that, he guessed that Kraven had vaguely touched the threshold of the ninth rank.

Given a bit more time, perhaps Kraven could step into the ninth rank through his own efforts and schemes; it wasn't impossible.

The reason he guessed Kraven hadn't reached the ninth rank yet was because he had compared Kraven's various attributes with his own.

The opponent was currently still much weaker than him; the two were not at the same level of strength. This logic was very simple.

If Locke Galahad wanted to, he could easily dodge the bullets he had just fired in his attack, thanks to the powerful enhancements brought by the Night Demon constitution.

And he wouldn't suffer any damage like Kraven did.

The reason he didn't dodge Kraven's bullets was because he was wearing the bulletproof suit; naturally, there was no need to perform evasive actions that might reveal his strength.

If he did that, wouldn't he have worn this suit for nothing? It was just that Kraven didn't know these things.

Seeing that Locke Galahad still wouldn't give up and was still firing at him, Kraven curled his lips into an evil smile, then immediately dodged aside. The bullets instantly missed, sinking straight into the wall and kicking up a cloud of dust.

"Hehe, kid, you don't think that just by relying on a suit with supernatural power you can defeat me, do you? Soon, I will let you see the gap between you and me."

Locke Galahad's expression remained calm; he didn't feel flustered because of the super speed Kraven had displayed, but instead laughed heartily.

"You wouldn't be stupid enough to think I only have this one suit, would you?"

"Or rather," looking at the confident Kraven, he laughed directly: "Have you never thought about why I can possess such things?"
