72: Help me!

Locke Galahad mocked him, but his speed only increased, without the slightest pause.

In the blink of an eye, he flashed in front of Victor.

Victor looked at the rather chilling smile on his face and felt a trace of fear rise in his heart, causing him to instantly lose the desire to attack.

The sword that should have been swung forward was now held vertically in front of him for defense.

"Futile effort." Locke Galahad looked at him holding the sword with both hands and commented calmly, then the sharp blade in his hand turned into a silver gleam of light,

slashing towards the other's throat at a speed far exceeding Victor's previous swing.

The sound of the sword tip cutting through the air was several times louder than the noise Victor had made earlier,

almost like the roar of a dragon.

With a "clang", Locke Galahad's longsword struck Victor's blade.

A massive force traveled along the blade to Victor's fingertips, instantly drawing blood from the webbing between his thumb and index finger, and it looked like he was about to lose his grip on the sword.

His eyes widened instantly, filled with horror:

"How do you have such powerful strength? You are not a Vampire. What exactly are you..."

Just as his hand holding the sword was about to loosen and Locke Galahad's longsword was about to slash his throat,

he closed his eyes and shouted loudly:

"Save me!"

As his voice fell, a red tentacle suddenly attacked Locke Galahad's heart from behind.

Obviously, that thing also knew that with the speed of its tentacle, it couldn't block Locke Galahad's fatal strike,

so it used this life-for-a-life tactic to force Locke Galahad to defend.

Locke Galahad naturally wouldn't risk his own life just to kill Victor.

Although he was wearing a [bulletproof suit], he didn't know if the bulletproof suit could withstand an attack from an Extraordinary Creature, so he didn't intend to take the risk.

With a sudden dodge, he avoided the red tentacle's attack while simultaneously slashing down with his sword.

Unfortunately, although the tentacle's skin wasn't hard, it was very soft and elastic; under his fierce attack,

it only broke the skin and then dispersed the force.

"This damn thing seems a bit hard to deal with."

Locke Galahad felt as if his sword had struck cotton, and not just any cotton, but cotton that could dissipate force.

After all, regular cotton would have been sliced in two by this strike of his.

After escaping the disaster, Victor let out a long sigh of relief, immediately moved his feet to run to the side of the bronze seat, and then looked at Locke Galahad hatefully:

"What kind of creature are you? Why do you have such fast speed and extraordinary strength?"

"Want to know? If you want to know, give me your life. When you die, I will burn paper to tell you."

Locke Galahad stood quietly not far away, staring intently at the red tentacle that had just spread out from behind the bronze seat.

The red tentacle looked like strips of flesh from a person who had been skinned, twisted and combined together,

looking quite bloody.

It was definitely not something that a good thing would possess.

Locke Galahad felt it was more like a mutant monster infected with a virus from Resident Evil.

And compared to Victor, this red tentacle posed a significantly greater threat to him, so he had to focus most of his attention on the tentacle.

"Hmph,"

Victor snorted disdainfully, then pushed the bronze seat aside with one hand, revealing a huge hole underneath,

where the strange creature with tentacles was hiding.

"Kid, don't think that just because you have some strength you can act recklessly. You will be the one who dies today. In a moment, I will let you know what true terror is."

"Who will die will be revealed in a moment. You don't need to tell me these useless things. Use whatever means you have."

Locke Galahad widened his eyes and cast his gaze into the huge space under the seat.

Inside was a pile of rotten, swollen red flesh that looked like a small mountain.

This thing was entirely composed of bloody human fibrous tissue.

It was covered with red tentacles like the one that had just attacked him, eight in total,

looking just like snake bodies,

twisting unconsciously, looking full of weirdness and evil, not something that should exist in the human world.

"What the hell is this!"

Locke Galahad felt his sanity almost corrupted with just one look, his SAN value nearly hitting zero.

If it were an ordinary person, they would probably go completely insane the moment they saw this thing.

A cruel smile appeared on the corner of Victor's mouth, and he looked at his masterpiece with satisfaction.

"You can't even cut off the hand of the treasure I raised, yet you still have the guts to talk tough here. Should I call you fearless, or ignorant?"

"Hmph, I really can't cut off this monster's tentacle,"

After confirming that this Flesh Ball monster couldn't affect him,

Locke Galahad coldly raised his silver longsword and pointed it from afar at Victor's head.

"But I think your neck shouldn't be as hard as the tentacle."

After finishing speaking, Locke Galahad suddenly accelerated again and charged towards Victor.

This time, his speed seemed, in a trance, to be even faster than the previous time.

"You..." Seeing Locke Galahad actually ignoring the tentacles and rushing towards him, Victor was so angry he laughed, waved his large hand forward, and roared:

"Kill him for me, hurry up and kill him! I want you to crush his head for me!"

As his command was issued, the blood-red flesh mountain polymer waved its eight tentacles,

and stabbed fiercely towards Locke Galahad.

Eight red tentacles, as thick as a baby's arm, were like crossbow bolts shot out suddenly,

shooting towards Locke Galahad at an extremely fast speed.

The speed of these tentacles was actually several levels faster than the attack speed of their master, Victor,

almost reaching the level of Locke Galahad's previous strike.

However, since Locke Galahad dared to make a move, he was naturally not unprepared.

While charging forward, he kept a constant eye on the movement of the tentacles,

so when the eight bright red tentacles attacked him from all directions, he appeared very calm,

and was not in the slightest panic.

He was like a flexible cheetah, dodging left and right, weaving back and forth under the attack of the red tentacles.

His movements were as graceful as a butterfly flitting through flowers,

elegant and agile.

Although his speed was somewhat affected, the distance between him and Victor was still rapidly shortening.

"Hehe... Its attacks don't seem to be able to hit me. Victor, just obediently accept your death."

A wicked smile hung on the corner of Locke Galahad's mouth as he stared intently at Victor.

With just two dodging movements,

he easily avoided the attacks of the 8 tentacles and rushed in front of Victor again,

the longsword in his hand,

once again traced an arc and slashed fiercely towards the opponent's neck.

This made Victor feel terrified; seeing that the monster he had painstakingly raised couldn't even slightly hinder Locke Galahad's advance,

he found it extremely difficult to accept,

and the level of shock in his heart was no less than a landslide or earthquake.

However, he didn't just stand there and wait for death; instead, he quickly reacted, instinctively moving his body to hide behind the red flesh mountain.

But no matter how fast he ran, Locke Galahad's sword was always just a step faster than him.
