523: Chapter 523 Transsion PC Operating System Launch Event

The two of them packed up simply and flew to the capital.

When they arrived at Lenovo headquarters, someone was waiting at the door, telling them to go to Boss Liu's office immediately.

Then, Liu Jun and President Chen Ming gave a brief report, including the plot of their "double act," without hiding anything.

"Stupid! You two are idiots who belong in a museum.

Where did you get the nerve to threaten them?

Given the current patent situation, if AMD could break the blockade, they would have done so already. Would they be in this sorry state otherwise?"

Facing Boss Liu's fury, the two lowered their heads instantly; after all, Boss Liu could actually fire them.

"The current solution is to rush the launch of the Savior series to beat Transsion to it.

As for the original price increase plan, keep it as minimal as possible.

Also, don't worry too much; they will definitely use their own TFS storage and higher-quality panels, so it's definitely a ten-thousand-yuan-level market.

We should aim for the 8,000 to 10,000 range."

"As for you, President Chen Ming, you've put in the hard work even if you haven't achieved much these past two years, but you really botched this matter...

Your year-end bonus for this year is cancelled!

Do you understand?"

"Thank you, Boss Liu. I guarantee this is the last time."

Liu Jun nodded hurriedly on the side; after all, he wasn't held accountable for this, otherwise he would definitely have been the ultimate scapegoat.

...

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, Transsion was preparing a big new surprise for them, and a new gift for the international supply chain.

June 18th.

As the 618 promotion entered its final day, everyone's slogans changed repeatedly. Some had even posted their results from June 1st to June 17th in advance to grab more hype for themselves.

Guangzhou Transsion Headquarters.

Li Qing, head of the PR department, had just finished a team meeting.

"President Li, everything is ready. President Liu is already doing the final rehearsal."

Li Qing nodded and looked at all the managers in charge again.

There were the paid internet trolls, the in-house media, and the official website operations team.

"Start the operation.

This fire must burn big; let everyone understand that from today on, the entire desktop OS industry will be unable to sleep."

The people in the conference room didn't delay and immediately threw themselves into their work.

Soon, while everyone else was posting their 618 sales figures, the Transsion official website issued an intriguing announcement.

"At 2 PM this afternoon, the Taishan System division will hold a new generation operating system conference!

Stay tuned."

"Could this be an official investigation report from President Liu regarding the previous attack?"

"Didn't they say that was already over? What new product are they releasing this time?"

"There's a rumor that Transsion is entering the PC market. I wonder if it has anything to do with this?"

"To the person above, where did you get..."

"My brother-in-law is a mid-level executive at Lenovo, and the news was revealed to them by Transsion. I'd say it's almost certain."

#New Taishan Operation#

With the help of the operations team, the related topics quickly climbed to the top of the trending lists.

Meanwhile, Boss Liu felt that this matter wasn't that simple, so he had Lenovo's intelligence department focus on observing the situation.

They had to figure out exactly what product Transsion was going to release before their press conference.

However, Transsion's secrecy regarding the desktop side was extremely high, and the entire project team hadn't released any news at all.

...

At 2 PM, the press conference officially began. About 200 guests attended in person, but the popularity in the online livestream room exceeded 7.5 million.

But Liu Zhihong, who took the stage at the press conference, wasn't holding any props.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the product we are releasing today is not a phone, not a TV, and not our operating system.

It is something we have been hiding for many years."

As his voice fell, a line of text slowly appeared on the big screen behind him: Taishan PC Operating System.

These big characters were so shocking that the people present didn't dare to breathe.

Big Mouth Yu and Zhao Ming looked at Shen Fei, who was sitting next to them, and said excitedly:

"President Shen, can the PC operating system be licensed to us?"

"We also have plans to make computers, it's just that..."

Shen Fei just waved his hand: "We are all one family; what's yours or mine?

This is an operating system that belongs to our China."

Hearing this, the two put down the worries in their hearts, and they also understood that this was to seize the market from the Windows operating system.

"President Shen, we are willing to be the generals and take down Windows together."

Old Yu didn't say much and agreed directly.

Zhao Ming also nodded; he had already planned out the product line in his mind.

Shenzhou's plan was quite good.

As for the online livestream room, the popularity was even greater.

"I thought Transsion was going to release a new patch or respond to the previous incident, but I didn't expect them to bring out an operating system."

"To the person above, the allied forces last time were indeed powerful, but hadn't they already responded?

What else do you want them to respond to? Do you really want them to pay you some money?"

"No way? It seems NVIDIA has harvested quite a lot of leeks, and now Transsion dares to make a system."

"Microsoft must have been involved last time. Transsion's reciprocal retaliation is absolutely fine."

"Everyone, no need to be surprised."

Liu Zhihong walked to the demonstration table in the center of the stage. In front of him was a computer host with standard configuration, and next to it was a China Star smart TV.

The whole scene formed a complete smart ecosystem.

Although most of the audience didn't know what was going on, it didn't stop them from thinking it was awesome.

"Actually, when we were making the mobile operating system, we were already paving the way for the desktop ecosystem.

Today is just the day our results erupt.

Now, let everyone see what a true full-end ecosystem looks like."

He picked up his phone. On the screen was a product PPT that was halfway edited, with the cursor resting on the third page.

In the next second, he pressed the PPT file and gently flicked it toward the TV screen.

Without connecting any data cables, without any image files, and without any loading circles, that PPT file flew from the phone screen to the TV screen as if it had grown wings.

The cursor position, the editing status, and even the text that had just been half-typed were exactly the same.

"This is our distributed software technology. The seamless connection between devices has a latency of less than 8 milliseconds."

Liu Zhihong introduced, but his hands didn't stop.

"In addition to files, video conferences opened on the phone can also be dragged to the computer to continue.

Design drafts that are halfway rendered on the computer can be dragged to the phone to continue editing.

All devices, as long as they are logged in, share the same computing power and share all files.

The premise is that everyone is using the same account."
