130: Chapter 129 Opening Ceremony of the Internet Celebrity Company

When Su Bai returned to the private room and pushed the door open, music came flooding out.

Someone had turned on the karaoke machine in the room. An MV was playing on the screen, and several women were holding microphones, singing happily.

Chu Yi was standing in front of the TV, clutching the microphone with both hands, eyes closed, singing at the top of her lungs. She was completely out of tune, but her expression was extremely devoted, as if she were holding a solo concert.

Chu Xiang sat on the sofa, covering her ears with a look of utter despair, but she didn't go up to grab the microphone, probably thinking that letting her sister embarrass herself was better than embarrassing herself.

Luo Ying leaned against the sofa, holding a glass of juice in her hand, watching Chu Yi's performance with a smile, her foot tapping gently under the table.

Su Bai walked in with a smile and sat down next to Luo Ying.

Luo Ying turned to look at him, the smile still lingering in her eyes. "Why were you gone for so long?"

Su Bai picked up a bottle of mineral water from the table and unscrewed the cap. "Ran into a friend and chatted for a bit."

Luo Ying nodded without pressing for details.

Su Bai leaned back on the sofa, took a sip of water, and watched the women in the room.

The group ate and sang for a while longer.

The lighting in the room was a warm, golden yellow, casting a soft glow on everyone's faces.

The food on the table had gone cold, the drinks were mostly finished, and the fruit platter was more than half empty.

Su Bai checked the time; it was almost ten o'clock. "It's about time, let's go."

Su Bai called for a private car again.

The two cars drove back to the residential complex one after the other.

By the time they arrived home, Chu Yi was already sleepy. She kicked off her shoes and headed straight for her room.

Everyone said goodnight to each other and returned to their respective rooms.

Su Bai stood in the living room for a moment before walking towards Luo Ying's room.

The door wasn't locked. He pushed it open and entered. Luo Ying was sitting on the edge of the bed holding her pajamas; she froze for a moment when she saw him come in.

Her hands paused, then she placed the pajamas on the bed and stood up, looking a bit awkward. "Are... are you going to take a shower?"

"Yeah." Su Bai had already walked into the bathroom.

Luo Ying stood outside, listening to the sound of the water.

She sat on the edge of the bed, clutching the sleeve of her pajamas. After waiting for a while, the water stopped. Su Bai pushed the door open and came out, his hair damp, a bath towel wrapped around his waist, and the steam still clinging to his body.

Luo Ying looked away, pretending to check her phone.

Su Bai walked to the door and said "Goodnight," to which Luo Ying responded with a goodnight.

It had been a long time since he'd showered while Luo Ying was around, and both of them felt a bit awkward.

Su Bai returned to his own room. He didn't feel like exercising today, so he went straight to bed and lay down.

After looking at his phone for about half an hour, the door was gently pushed open.

Su Bai turned off his phone and looked towards the door.

Song Qian slipped in stealthily, her movements light, like a little wild cat.

She was wearing a pale pink nightgown, thin and sheer. In the darkness, she couldn't be seen clearly, only the faint outline of her body.

She walked to the bedside, lifted the quilt, and slipped inside.

"Master." Her voice was very soft, her lips brushing against his ear, her breath warm against his earlobe. "You haven't favored me in several days."

Su Bai reached out and wrapped his arm around her waist.

Her waist was very slender. Through the thin nightgown, he could feel the warmth of her skin. "I just got back, didn't I? I was afraid of running into them."

Song Qian buried her face in his neck, her voice muffled. "But you and Qiao You were at the washing machine on the balcony..."

Su Bai's hand paused. "That was an accident."

Song Qian looked up, staring at his face in the darkness. She couldn't see his expression, but she could feel his breath. "Then I want that too."

Her voice was very quiet, but very firm.

She curled inside, and Su Bai gasped, his fingers gripping the bedsheets tightly.

Song Qian was as obsessed with Su Bai as a cat is with a teaser wand.

In the second half of the night, Song Qian slipped away.

Early the next morning, Su Bai got up to go for a run.

Winter in Jingzhou was coming to an end, and the morning air was very pleasant.

He ran five kilometers, worked up a light sweat, and then returned.

He had things to do today, so he didn't go to the gym.

He went straight to Luo Ying's room to take a shower.

He knocked on the door, but no one answered. He turned the handle, the door wasn't locked, and he pushed it open to enter.

Luo Ying hadn't gotten up yet. She was lying on her side with the quilt pulled up to her shoulders, revealing only her face and a head of black hair spread across the pillow.

Her breathing was light and steady; she was sleeping soundly.

Su Bai walked into the bathroom and turned on the faucet.

The splashing sound of the water seemed exceptionally loud in the quiet morning.

Luo Ying was awakened by the sound of the water and opened her eyes groggily.

She heard the water running in the bathroom, saw the bathroom light on, and noticed a blurry figure behind the frosted glass.

She froze for a moment, then realized—it was Su Bai.

Her heart skipped a beat, and she quickly closed her eyes, pretending to still be asleep.

This bad guy actually entered her room without her permission!

The water stopped.

The bathroom door opened, and Su Bai walked out with a bath towel around his waist, his hair still wet, and steam clinging to his body.

He glanced at the bed. Luo Ying had her eyes closed, her breathing light and steady, but her fingers were gripping the corner of the quilt, her knuckles slightly white, and her eyelashes were trembling lightly.

The corners of his mouth curled up; she was pretending to be asleep.

Walking to the door, he said deliberately, "I'm heading out, Sister Luo Ying."

Luo Ying subconsciously replied, "Oh."

Then she realized with a start—she was supposed to be pretending to sleep, how could she have answered?

Her face flushed red instantly. In frustration, she turned over, facing away from Su Bai.

She was wearing thin, pink cotton pajamas, but the outline of her buttocks was still visible—round and supple—and they gave a cute little jiggle when she turned over.

Su Bai raised an eyebrow, took a second look, then opened the door and left.

Luo Ying lay on the bed, face buried in the pillow. How embarrassing!

Su Bai had a simple breakfast in the kitchen, returned to his room to change clothes, picked up his car keys, and went out.

Today was an important day.

The Jingzhou branch of Liusu Entertainment Media was opening today.

Liusu Entertainment was a company specializing in influencer incubation, managed by Shen Tian, and established in Jingzhou before the New Year.

The location was in a commercial villa district. He had purchased a 1,500-square-meter detached villa, which had been under renovation for several months and was only completed before the New Year.

Today was the opening, so naturally, he had to be there.

After a forty-minute drive, he arrived at the commercial villa district in the east of Jingzhou.

The buildings here were all detached villas, each one unique—Chinese style, European style, modern style—distributed artfully amidst greenery and waterways.

The Liusu Entertainment building was on the outermost edge, and Su Bai saw it from afar as he drove up.

It was a modern-style white building with clean lines and large floor-to-ceiling windows. In front was a lawn adorned with flower baskets and a registration desk, with a red carpet laid out and uniformed staff standing on both sides.

There were many cars—a gathering of luxury vehicles: Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Land Rover, Maserati, and even a few supercars, filling the parking lot at the entrance.

Su Bai parked his car and walked towards the main entrance.

People were bustling at the entrance; he wove through the crowd and walked into the large villa courtyard.

Shen Tian was directing staff with a tall, beautiful woman.

Shen Tian was wearing a white shirt with her hair up, looking very capable.

The beautiful woman beside her was wearing a strapless gown, her chestnut-colored wavy hair cascading over her shoulders, revealing a large expanse of fair shoulders, neck, and collarbone.

The gown was deep blue and elegantly designed, accentuating her figure to perfection.

Full chest, slender waist, wide hips—the whole person standing there could be described in one word: stunning!
