133: Chapter 132 The Girls of Tassel Entertainment

The celebration ended.

As Xin Yaoqiao was being pulled out by her father, she looked back and scanned the crowd.

The hall was crowded with people in suits and evening gowns milling about; she stood on tiptoe, her gaze sweeping from one face to another.

She frowned and searched again.

Still, she couldn't find Su Bai.

Her father tugged at her, so she had no choice but to withdraw her gaze and follow him out the door.

A black Audi A6 was parked at the entrance, and the driver had already opened the door.

She sat inside, leaned back against the seat, and watched the white villa outside the window until the car turned a corner and the villa disappeared from her line of sight.

Su Bai stood by the window in the second-floor corridor, watching the black Audi drive out the gate, turn onto the main road, and vanish into the traffic.

This young lady wanted to give herself away for free, but he wasn't quite sure if he wanted it.

Given her background, it would be very troublesome if she were to cling to him.

Unless, that is, he made things clear in advance, or got her to willingly share him with others.

This would require careful consideration.

He stood there for a moment before turning to leave.

Shen Tian had appeared behind him at some point, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed, holding a half-finished glass of champagne.

"Mr. Su, don't leave tonight."

Su Bai looked at her. "Anything else?"

"We're having dinner with the staff tonight." Shen Tian took a sip of champagne. "It's the first day of business; it wouldn't look good if you, the big boss, weren't there."

Her tone was casual, but Su Bai understood what she meant.

It wasn't a request; it was a notification.

He thought about it; he didn't have anything to do back home anyway, so he nodded.

Shen Tian smiled and walked away with her champagne.

By evening, the lights in the villa had turned on.

Neon lights emanated from the ceiling, walls, and various light fixtures in the corners, illuminating the entire hall like a giant lantern.

Music began to play—electronic music with a strong, drum-heavy rhythm that made one want to sway along.

There weren't many people, just the employees and signed artists of Liusu Entertainment—about thirty or forty of them—filling the hall.

Some were chatting with glasses in hand, some were sitting on the sofa playing on their phones, some were eating at the buffet table in the corner, and some were swaying to the music in the center of the dance floor.

Shen Tian had changed her clothes; she was wearing a red silk shirt and black wide-leg trousers, her hair let down over her shoulders, giving her a more feminine aura than she had during the day.

She wove through the crowd with her wine glass, clinking glasses with one person and chatting with another, like a red butterfly.

Li Li had also changed into a black slip dress—a very short one that barely covered the tops of her thighs, revealing a stretch of fair leg.

Her chestnut-colored wavy hair draped over her shoulders, glistening under the lights.

She sat by the bar with a cocktail in her hand, chatting with a young girl and laughing so hard that she shook with mirth.

Su Bai sat on the sofa in the corner with a glass of whiskey in front of him.

Shen Tian walked over and sat down beside him, crossing her legs, her red silk shirt shimmering under the lights.

"Mr. Su, this won't do." She looked at the gyrating bodies on the dance floor. "It's the opening day; you need to enjoy yourself."

Su Bai leaned back against the sofa. "I am enjoying myself."

Shen Tian glanced at him, her eyes saying, "Who are you trying to fool?"

She didn't call his bluff and took a sip of her drink instead.

"It's fine; you'll be happy once they perform their show later."

Su Bai looked at her. "What show?"

Shen Tian smiled—a smile filled with cunning, triumph, and a hint of waiting for a good show.

"You'll see when you watch it."

She stood up and clapped her hands. "Girls, come and show our Mr. Su the splendor of Liusu Entertainment!"

"Clap!"

The lights dimmed.

The lights in the center of the dance floor brightened, and a white spotlight shone down onto the center of the stage.

The music changed to a slower, more suggestive tune, with drumbeats that felt like a heartbeat.

The first to walk out was Yin Suwan.

She had changed into a black lace bodysuit, covered by a transparent veil that left little to the imagination.

Her hair was let down in wavy curls over her shoulders, and she wore heavy makeup with winged eyeliner and dark red lips; under the lights, she looked like a cat in the night.

She walked to the center of the stage and stood still; as the light hit her, she seemed to glow.

The music was provocative, and she began to dance.

Su Bai leaned back on the sofa, holding his whiskey, watching Yin Suwan writhe on the stage.

Her dance moves were professional, every movement precisely hitting the beat, every hip sway and head toss perfectly executed.

Her eyes scanned the audience, the crowd, and finally settled on Su Bai. There was seduction in her gaze.

Su Bai lifted his glass toward her.

Yin Suwan smiled until her eyes curved into crescents, and her dance became even more uninhibited.

When the song ended, applause erupted.

Yin Suwan bowed and walked off the stage.

The second to come up was Dao Dadao.

She had changed into a tight white performance outfit that accentuated her curves.

Wearing her hair in pigtails and sporting fresh, youthful makeup, she danced a very lively routine—big movements, hopping and skipping, her pigtails swinging behind her, and her dimpled smile was sweet and cute.

Someone in the audience whistled, and she danced even more energetically.

The third was Peng Shiqi, wearing a black leather jacket with the zipper pulled down to her chest, revealing a white camisole underneath.

She performed a cool dance with clean, sharp movements and a cold expression, like a street girl not to be trifled with.

The fourth was A-Leng, wearing a red dress with wavy hair, performing a very sexy dance, swaying her waist and hips with a hazy look in her eyes, like a lazy cat.

One after another, each person was different, and each performance was wonderful.

Su Bai sat on the sofa, watching them perform, occasionally taking a sip of his drink. Shen Tian sat beside him, legs crossed, her fingers tapping lightly on her thigh.

"How is it?" She turned her head and asked him.

Su Bai watched He Tong, who was dancing on stage; she was wearing a light blue Hanfu and performing a traditional-style dance, her movements slow and soft, as if she were swimming in water.

"Not bad, quite good."

Shen Tian smiled. "There's even better to come."

She stood up, walked to the side of the stage, and said a few words to Li Li.

Li Li nodded and walked backstage.

After a while, the lights dimmed again.

This time it wasn't just one beam of light, but many—various colors, red, blue, green, and purple, flashing and intersecting on the stage.

The music changed too, becoming more intense and rowdy, the bass making the floor tremble. A figure walked out from backstage.

Su Bai recognized her—Li Ziqi.

She had changed into a black bodysuit made of leather that glistened under the lights, like a black snake.

Her hair was tied in a high ponytail, and she wore wild makeup with black eyeshadow and black lipstick; she looked like a dark-themed heroine straight out of a manga.

She walked to the center of the stage and stood still, and the music exploded!

She performed a very intense dance with fast, powerful movements; every turn and kick seemed to cut through the air.

Screams rose from the audience one after another.

Su Bai leaned back on the sofa, watching Li Ziqi dance on stage.

Her body was like a fully drawn bow, full of power, ready to spring forth at any moment.

Her eyes scanned the audience, swept over the crowd, and finally landed on him, pausing for a moment.

There was a challenge and a sense of showing off in that gaze.

When the song ended, Li Ziqi stopped, panting, her chest heaving. Thunderous applause erupted from the audience; she bowed and turned to walk backstage.

Su Bai picked up his whiskey and took a sip.

The ice had mostly melted, and the drink was diluted, no longer as strong. Shen Tian walked back and sat down beside him, crossing her legs.

"Mr. Su, are you satisfied?"

Su Bai looked at the stage; the lights were still flashing, and the music was still playing, but no one was performing anymore.

A few girls were swaying to the music in the center of the dance floor, dancing casually, not as seriously as before.

"Satisfied."

Shen Tian smiled, raised her glass, and clinked it against his.

"Then you must come to the company to inspect more often; the staff really want to see you."

Su Bai glanced at her.

Shen Tian's smile was very natural, with no visible flaws.

He withdrew his gaze and continued to watch the gyrating bodies on the dance floor.

Tonight, who should he choose...
