44: Chapter 44 Stay away from my car

After Tian Tian left, Su Bai leaned against the car door, looking at his car.

The black jade-colored panamera GTS shimmered with a cold light in the sunlight; its appearance was worth him driving it a few more times before trading it in.

As he was thinking this, the sound of high heels clicking on the ground came from behind him.

"Hey! You kid!"

Su Bai didn't move.

The footsteps got closer, and the voice became sharper.

"I'm talking to you! Stay away from that car!"

Su Bai turned his head and frowned.

A female salesperson with permed hair stood two meters away, arms crossed, looking at him with an expression of disgust.

She was wearing a black professional suit, with a skirt shorter than Tian Tian's, and her makeup was heavier than Tian Tian's too.

Su Bai recognized her.

When he passed the front desk earlier, she was the one who said, "Another freeloader here for a free meal."

"Something up?" Su Bai asked.

The curly-haired salesperson looked him up and down.

Down jacket, jeans, ordinary sneakers.

He looked like a student, maybe even some poor ghost who ran over from some university to get a free meal.

Her gaze landed on the car Su Bai was leaning against, and her brows furrowed even tighter.

"Do you know what kind of car this is?"

She lifted her chin, her tone full of obvious contempt,

"A panamera GTS, worth 2.6 million on the road, the most expensive car in the whole shop!"

Su Bai didn't speak, too lazy to bother with her.

"Can you afford to pay if you scratch it?"

She took a step forward and reached out to pull him,

"Get away now, this car isn't something you can touch—"

Before her hand could touch Su Bai, her wrist was grabbed.

Su Bai held her wrist; the force wasn't great, but it left her unable to move.

"What are you doing!" The curly-haired salesperson struggled, but couldn't break free,

"Let go! If you don't let go, I'm calling security!"

Su Bai looked at her, his expression very calm.

"This car, I bought it."

The curly-haired salesperson was stunned for a moment.

Then she laughed.

She laughed loudly, exaggeratedly, laughing until she was doubled over.

"You bought it?"

She pointed at Su Bai, laughing until tears were almost coming out,

"You? Buying a panamera? A 2.6 million car?!"

Su Bai let go of her hand.

The curly-haired salesperson rubbed her wrist, and once she had laughed enough, she put on a mocking expression.

"Little brother, do you know what 2.6 million means? Even if you started working from the womb, you wouldn't have saved up that amount by now!"

She leaned in closer and lowered her voice,

"If you want to mooch a photo with a car, go over there; there are cheaper ones there. Not this one. If you break it, you couldn't pay for it even if you sold yourself!"

Su Bai looked at her, suddenly feeling bored.

Talking even one more sentence to an idiot like this was a waste of air.

"Whether I buy it or not has nothing to do with you. If you are curious, Tian Tian is helping me process the contract." He said, his tone calm,

"Now, can you stay away from my car."

The curly-haired salesperson's smile froze.

Tian Tian?

That new girl with the round face?

She subconsciously glanced into the showroom.

Just then, Tian Tian ran out from the back door.

She was holding a file folder in her hand, her face flushed with excitement, her ponytail swinging behind her head.

"Mr. Su! The contract is ready!"

She ran up to Su Bai and handed him the file folder with both hands,

"You just need to sign it!"

Su Bai took the file folder, pulled out the contract, and flipped through it.

The curly-haired salesperson stood where she was, her eyes growing wider and wider.

"Tian Tian," her voice sounded a bit dry,

"This car... did he really buy it?"

Tian Tian finally noticed her and was stunned for a moment.

"Yeah, Mr. Su just paid in full."

She looked at the curly-haired salesperson, then at Su Bai, a bit confused,

"What's wrong?"

The curly-haired salesperson's mouth opened, but she couldn't say anything.

Her face began to turn pale.

This was a 2.6 million car!

Paid in full?!

Su Bai finished signing, put the contract back into the file folder, and handed it to Tian Tian.

"When will the paperwork be finished?"

"Today!"

Tian Tian said quickly,

"The insurance and temporary license plate will be quick, about two hours."

Su Bai nodded.

"Then I'll wait a while."

He leaned against the car door again and looked at the curly-haired salesperson.

The curly-haired salesperson stood where she was, her face turning green and white.

She wanted to say something to save face, but opened her mouth several times and couldn't say a thing.

Finally, she squeezed out a smile that was uglier than crying.

"Um... Mr. Su, right? I was blind just now, please don't take it to heart..."

She stepped forward, her face full of anticipation,

"Look, why don't I help you with the rest of the paperwork? Tian Tian is new and inexperienced; I've been doing this for five years, I'm definitely better than her—"

"I said just now," Su Bai interrupted her,

"To stay away from my car. Don't you understand?"

The curly-haired salesperson's smile froze on her face.

He looked at Tian Tian, his tone calm: "What are you standing there for? Go get to work."

Tian Tian was stunned for a moment, then nodded vigorously.

"Okay, okay Mr. Su! I'll go right away!"

She ran off holding the file folder, her ponytail swinging behind her head.

The curly-haired salesperson stood where she was, the expression on her face was spectacular.

Su Bai couldn't be bothered to look at the expression on her face.

In the showroom, several salespeople gathered together, looking over this way.

Someone was holding a phone, not knowing what they were filming.

Someone was covering their mouth and laughing, whispering to the person next to them.

Not long after, Tian Tian ran out again.

"Mr. Su! The paperwork is being processed, about an hour and a half!"

She was panting, with sweat on her face,

"Would you like to go to the lounge and sit for a while? There is coffee and tea!"

Su Bai looked at her round face and suddenly found it a bit funny.

"Aren't you tired?" he asked.

Tian Tian was stunned for a moment, then smiled, her two dimples deepening.

"Not tired, not tired! This is the biggest order of my life! I'm too happy to be tired!"

Su Bai nodded.

"Alright, let's go."

He followed Tian Tian into the showroom and sat down in the lounge.

Tian Tian brought over a cup of coffee and carefully placed it in front of him.

"Mr. Su, please enjoy."

Su Bai picked up the coffee and took a sip.

Not bad.

Tian Tian stood to the side, a bit awkward.

"You sit too." Su Bai pointed to the sofa opposite.

Tian Tian was stunned for a moment, then sat down carefully.

She looked at Su Bai, her eyes sparkling.

"Mr. Su, can I ask you a question?"

"Hmm."

"What... exactly do you do?" she asked in a low voice,

"You look like you're only eighteen or nineteen, how can you afford such an expensive car?"

Su Bai looked at her.

"Guess."

Tian Tian blinked.

"A second-generation rich kid?"

"You could say that."

He made his old man a first-generation rich man, and himself a second-generation rich kid.

"Oh..." Tian Tian nodded, thoughtful.

After a while, she spoke again,

"Mr. Su, that... Sister Liu just now, the curly-haired salesperson, please don't lower yourself to her level."

She said softly,

"She's just like that, judging people by their appearance; her performance has always been bad, please don't take it to heart."

Su Bai didn't speak.

Tian Tian said again: "But today, this is sure to make her miserable for a while. The whole shop knows she offended a big client, probably..."

Her tone carried a bit of schadenfreude, but she quickly reined it in.

"Of course, I'm not laughing at her, it's just..."

Su Bai put down the coffee cup.

"I'm not interested."

An hour and a half later, the paperwork was finished.

Su Bai took the keys and sat in the driver's seat.

The interior of the panamera was very exquisite, wrapped in leather, with carbon fiber trim panels, and seat ventilation, heating, and massage functions all available.

He pressed the start button, and the engine sound was low and powerful, like a dormant beast.

Tian Tian stood by the car, her hands folded in front of her, smiling like a flower.

"Mr. Su, I wish you a pleasant drive! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at any time!"

Su Bai nodded.

The window rolled up, and the car slowly drove out of the 4S dealership.

In the rearview mirror, Tian Tian was still waving.

Su Bai retracted his gaze and stepped on the accelerator.

The engine roared, and the panamera GTS merged into the traffic, disappearing at the end of the street.
