81: Chapter 81 Riverside Leisurely Car

After this farce ended, Su Bai trained for another hour.

Afterwards, he packed up his things and prepared to leave.

Zhang Kexin chased after him.

"Su Bai! Let's add each other on WeChat!"

She took out her phone and looked at him expectantly.

Zhao Mengmeng stood by the side, also taking out her phone; her face was flushed, but her eyes were bright.

Su Bai took a glance and said, "Sure."

He took out his phone and scanned the code.

The two girls added him on WeChat and were so happy they almost jumped for joy.

"Let's train together when you're free!"

"Contact us anytime!"

They left.

Amy walked over.

"Remember to tell me in advance next time you come."

"Though... you're so impressive, you really don't need much assistance from me."

Su Bai looked at her and smiled, "I still have to rely on you to teach me about professional aspects."

"I've just been training blindly and don't understand some of the details."

Amy smiled.

There was a hint of ambiguity in that smile.

"Are you free tonight?" she asked, "Let me treat you to a meal as an apology for today's incident."

Su Bai thought for a moment.

"Sure."

Amy's eyes lit up.

"Then I'll go take a shower; wait for me a little while."

She turned and walked towards the locker room, then took two steps and turned back, winking at him.

"It'll be quick."

Su Bai leaned against the equipment, watching her back disappear at the entrance of the locker room.

He took out his phone and saw a message from Song Qian: [I quit the tutoring job. What do you want to eat tonight? I'll buy groceries and cook.]

He typed: [No need, I'm eating out tonight.]

Song Qian replied: [Okay, then I'll head back first.] [Waiting for you to come home.]

Su Bai put down his phone.

Outside the window, the sky had already darkened.

When Amy came out of the locker room, Su Bai had already been waiting at the entrance of the Gym for a while.

She had changed into a different outfit: a small black camisole with thin straps hanging over her collarbones, revealing a large expanse of fair shoulders, neck, and arms.

Outside, she wore a short white down jacket, worn open, with her waist faintly visible.

Below, she wore tight blue jeans that wrapped around her slender legs, outlining her hip lines to be exceptionally full.

Her hair was still slightly damp, and her short golden hair was casually tucked behind her ears, revealing her exquisite profile.

Seeing Su Bai, her eyes lit up, and she walked over quickly.

"Kept you waiting long?"

Su Bai shook his head.

"No."

Amy smiled and took out her phone.

"I'll call a car."

Su Bai took the car keys out of his pocket and pressed a button.

Not far away, the lights of a deep black panamera flashed.

"No need to call a car," he said, "I drove here."

Amy was stunned for a moment, her gaze landing on the car.

She was someone who had seen the world; this model of panamera, with higher configurations, would cost at least two million on the road.

Her eyes widened slightly, but she quickly returned to normal.

"Alright," she said with a smile, "I didn't expect you to be a hidden second-generation rich kid."

Su Bai didn't speak, just pulled open the driver's side door.

Amy sat in the passenger seat and fastened her seatbelt.

The car was filled with a faint scent of leather, the seats were soft and comfortable, and the various buttons on the center console were neatly arranged.

Amy looked around, her gaze filled with appreciation.

"This car is not bad, very tasteful."

Su Bai started the engine.

"Where to?"

Amy gave an address, a famous Western restaurant in the city center.

The car drove out of the parking lot and merged into the traffic in the night.

Amy leaned back against the seat and turned her head to look at him.

"What do you like to eat?"

Su Bai glanced at her.

"Anything is fine, I'm not picky."

Amy smiled, a meaningful look in that smile.

"I didn't expect you to have such an uninhibited appetite."

Su Bai chuckled, "That depends on whether the feast is appetizing."

Amy tossed her hair, a very natural movement, but also carrying a hint of deliberate elegance.

"Then I'm quite confident," she said, staring straight at him, "I guarantee you'll love it."

These words seemed to be about food, yet also about something else.

Su Bai didn't respond, only the corners of his mouth lifted slightly.

The car stopped in front of a Western restaurant.

The restaurant wasn't large, but the decor was very stylish.

Warm yellow lighting, dark wooden tables and chairs, and a few oil paintings hanging on the walls.

The window seat offered a view of the street scene, with a thin layer of condensation on the glass.

The waiter led them to a quiet corner and handed them the menu.

Amy took the menu and began to flip through it.

"Steak?" she asked, looking up at Su Bai.

"Sure."

"How well done?"

"Medium-rare."

Amy nodded and said to the waiter, "Two steaks, one medium-well, one medium-rare."

"Also, one Caesar salad, one order of roasted mushrooms, and a bottle of..."

She paused and looked at Su Bai, "You're driving, so let's not drink alcohol. Let's have two glasses of lemon water."

The waiter noted down the menu and retreated.

Amy rested her chin on both hands, looking at Su Bai.

"Su Bai," she began, "do you have a girlfriend?"

Su Bai leaned back against the chair, looking at her.

"No."

Amy was a bit surprised.

"You're so handsome, wealthy, and in good shape," she counted on her fingers, "how could you not have a girlfriend?"

Su Bai picked up the lemon water and took a sip.

"Why get a girlfriend?" he said, "Besides having your freedom restricted, what other benefits are there?"

Amy smiled.

"There are many benefits."

She winked, "For example... you can resolve certain issues for a guy your age."

These words were very ambiguous.

Su Bai looked at her, "Can't it be resolved without a girlfriend?"

Amy was stunned for a moment.

Then she smiled even more deeply.

"No way," she said, her tone carrying a hint of teasing, "Don't tell me you usually date Miss Five-Fingers?"

Su Bai didn't even blush, looking at her calmly.

"You're so curious," he said, "are you very experienced?"

Amy's face flushed slightly.

But she quickly recovered.

"Is that the same thing?"

Su Bai's gaze slowly moved down from her face and landed on her hands resting on the table.

Her fingers were beautiful, slender and delicate, with neatly trimmed nails.

They were painted with light pink nail polish and inlaid with a few small rhinestones.

But only four fingers had nail art.

The middle finger was bare.

Su Bai withdrew his gaze and said nothing.

Amy noticed his gaze and looked down at her own hand.

Then her face turned redder.

She pulled her hand back and took a sip of the lemon water.

"Um..." she changed the subject, "What is your fitness goal? What do you want to look like?"

Su Bai followed her lead.

"No need to be too bulky," he said, "just maintaining physical fitness while strengthening my core is enough."

Amy nodded.

"You have great talent," she said, "just keep it up, and later I'll arrange more detailed sculpting for you."

"Mm."

The two chatted about fitness, and the atmosphere gradually became more natural.

The steaks arrived, tender and juicy.

They ate and chatted, from fitness to diet, from diet to lifestyle habits.

After finishing the meal, it was almost nine o'clock.

Walking out of the restaurant, the night was deep.

Amy stood at the entrance, looking at the distant lights.

"Want to go to the riverside for some air?" she suddenly said.

Su Bai stretched and said casually, "Sure."

The car drove towards the riverside.

The riverside in Jingzhou had been renovated beautifully over the past few years, with plastic tracks laid along the river, flowers and plants planted, and benches and streetlights every short distance.

At night, many people come here to walk, walk their dogs, walk their kids, and there are many couples strolling the streets.

Su Bai drove the car into the riverside parking lot, just about to find a spot to park.

"Don't park here," Amy suddenly said.

Su Bai looked at her.

Amy looked at the people outside the window and frowned.

"Too many people, I don't like it." She pointed inside, "Let's go further in."

Su Bai glanced in the direction she pointed.

The road along the river extended inward, the lights grew dimmer, and there were fewer and fewer people.

He stepped on the gas and continued driving in.

After driving a few more kilometers, the lights on the side of the road disappeared completely, leaving only the headlights to illuminate the road ahead.

The river water flowed with a splash in the darkness, and occasionally one could see sporadic lights on the opposite bank.

There were a few cars parked ahead.

They were all parked on the side of the road, headlights off, pitch black.

Su Bai's headlights swept over, seeing one of the SUVs swaying slightly.

Swaying rhythmically.

His gaze paused on that car for a moment.

Then he withdrew his gaze and parked the car a bit further away.

The car became quiet, leaving only the sound of two people breathing.

Amy leaned back against the seat, turning her head to look at him, "What are you thinking about?"

Su Bai looked at the SUV in front that was still swaying.

"Are the people in that car," he said, "playing with a rocking car?"

Amy was stunned for a moment.

Then she laughed, laughing until she shook all over.

"A rocking car?" She couldn't stop laughing, "Your description..."

She laughed enough, turned her head to look at him, her eyes shining in the darkness.

"So..."

"Do you want to play?"

Su Bai's mouth curled into a smile, and then he unbuckled his seatbelt.

His tone was very calm, "Mm... why wouldn't I want to?"

Amy smiled even more deeply.

She reached out and adjusted the seat backward.

Outside the car window, the river water flowed with a splash.
