68: Is Chapter 68 a proper comic?

Who knew that after walking just two steps, Xin Yaoqiao stopped again.

She turned her head, looked Su Bai up and down, hesitated for a moment, then reached out and took the confused Su Bai to a corner of the teaching building.

A few minutes later, when Xin Yaoqiao hopped out, her pair of big white legs were dazzlingly bright; the white silk stockings on her legs had disappeared.

And Su Bai's pockets were bulging.

The surrounding students were dumbfounded.

The two of them, what did they go and do?!

Su Bai continued walking out with a calm expression.

This little witch!

Forcing her stockings on him again!

Just as Su Bai had walked a few steps, someone blocked his path.

Mu Qing.

She crossed her arms and looked at him with a resentful expression.

"How did you provoke her?"

Su Bai shrugged.

"If I said it was she who provoked me, would you believe it?"

Mu Qing took the opportunity to look closely at his face.

Sword-like eyebrows, star-like eyes, a high-bridged nose, distinct contours, and a height of over 1.9 meters; standing there, he looked like a model who had just stepped off a magazine cover.

"I believe it!"

Mu Qing said with great certainty.

Su Bai smiled.

The two stood in the corridor and chatted for a while.

"Where do you want to go during winter break?" Mu Qing asked.

"I haven't thought about it yet," Su Bai said. "Do you have any ideas?"

Mu Qing's eyes lit up.

"I've looked at a few places: Xinjiang, Yunnan Province, and the islands. Are you interested in any of them?"

Su Bai thought for a moment.

"Xinjiang or the islands, I guess."

Mu Qing blinked. "Why?"

Su Bai looked at her.

"There are more beautiful women in those two places," he said solemnly.

"Xinjiang has exotic customs, and the islands have bikinis."

Mu Qing was stunned for a moment, then gave him an annoyed glare.

"Be serious!"

Su Bai smiled.

"Alright, then let's go to the islands; it's warm."

The corners of Mu Qing's mouth curled up.

"It's a deal then," she said excitedly. "Once I finish handling things at home, we'll set off."

Su Bai nodded.

"Sure."

The parent-teacher meeting was about to start, and Mu Qing had to go back to meet her parents.

She waved at Su Bai and turned to run into the classroom.

Su Bai stood in the corridor, looking out the window.

The sun was shining brightly, casting mottled light and shadows on the trees in front of the teaching building.

He withdrew his thoughts and turned to head downstairs.

After walking out of the school gate, his phone vibrated once.

He took it out to look; it was a message from Xin Yaoqiao:

[Su Bai, you don't want the million-plus, so what do you want? Could it be... you want me?]

Su Bai glanced at it and didn't reply.

Want you, my foot!

He put his phone back in his pocket and walked toward the parking lot.

The car was parked on the side of the road; he opened the door and sat inside.

Starting the engine, the car slowly merged into the traffic.

When Su Bai drove back to Lanyuan Residential Area, it was exactly eleven o'clock in the morning.

He parked the car, went upstairs, and pushed the door open; the living room was quiet.

Song Qian was not there; she must have gone out for a part-time job.

After talking to her last night, Su Bai knew that this seemingly cold and detached sister was actually a "negative second-generation" and a "brother-obsessed" person.

However, looking at her usual outfits, she had good taste; it was clear she didn't like to mistreat herself.

But she was currently very short of money...

When she mentioned the contract beast last night, it meant something in her heart had been shaken.

Lin Qiaoyou's bedroom door was tightly shut, and a sliver of light shone from under the crack.

Su Bai walked to her door and knocked.

A rustling sound came from inside, and then Lin Qiaoyou's voice rang out, sounding muffled:

"Who is it?"

"It's me, Su Bai."

Silence for two seconds.

"Is, is something the matter?"

Su Bai leaned against the doorframe and said softly,

"Sister Qiaoyou, the matter at school is finished, and I don't have anything else to do today," he said.

"How about I be your model today? If you don't draw now, you're going to miss your submission deadline."

There was silence inside for a few more seconds.

Then came a soft: "Then wait a moment."

The corners of Su Bai's mouth curled up slightly.

"Alright."

He turned and went back to his room.

Closing the door, he walked to the bed and lifted the mattress.

Then he took out the white silk stockings from his pocket and placed them at the very bottom of the mattress, where there were already a pair of fishnet stockings and black silk stockings.

Covering the mattress, he clapped his hands.

Done.

Damn, why does it feel like I'm collecting stamps with stockings?!

After doing all this, he sat on the edge of the bed and waited for about ten minutes.

A knock sounded at the door.

"Su Bai?" Lin Qiaoyou's voice came from outside the door, soft, "I'm ready."

Su Bai stood up and opened the door.

Lin Qiaoyou stood outside.

She had changed into a different outfit.

A white hoodie dress, the fabric soft and clinging to her body, outlining her curves.

The neckline wasn't low, but it definitely wasn't conservative either, revealing a stretch of fair collarbone.

The skirt reached above her knees, and below were a pair of plump thighs, bare and dazzlingly white.

The most eye-catching part was her chest.

The hoodie was stretched tight, the fabric taut, almost unable to contain it.

Su Bai's gaze lingered on her for a moment.

Lin Qiaoyou noticed his gaze, and her face flushed slightly.

She lowered her head, holding her easel and brushes, and said in a small voice:

"Let's go to the balcony; the lighting is better there, and there's no one else home anyway."

Su Bai nodded.

"You decide."

The two walked to the balcony.

The winter sun was just right, shining in through the glass windows, warm and pleasant.

On the balcony, there were a few potted plants, a small round table, and two chairs.

Lin Qiaoyou set up the easel, arranged the paper, and prepared the paints.

She sat on the chair next to the small round table, her two plump thighs crossed, dazzlingly white.

Su Bai stood in the sunlight, looking at her.

"Do I need to change my clothes?"

Lin Qiaoyou raised her head and glanced at him.

The sunlight fell on him, outlining his tall and straight silhouette.

Even though it was a very ordinary outfit, paired with that face, it looked exceptionally good.

Lin Qiaoyou's face turned red again.

"A, a white shirt," she said softly.

Su Bai nodded and turned back to his room.

Two minutes later, he walked out.

A white shirt, with the top button undone, revealing a bit of his collarbone. The sleeves were casually rolled up twice, revealing a section of his forearm.

The sunlight shone on him, and the white shirt reflected slightly, making him look clean and handsome.

Lin Qiaoyou looked at him, stunned for a moment.

In the sunlight, that boy stood there like a character who had walked out of a comic book.

Truly, a man who had walked out of a comic book.

"Is this okay?" Su Bai asked.

Lin Qiaoyou came back to her senses and nodded quickly.

"I, it's okay."

She sat down at the easel and picked up her brush.

"You..." she thought for a moment, "first, strike a pose with one hand in your pocket, looking slightly upward."

Su Bai followed suit.

He put his left hand in his pocket and slightly raised his head, looking at the sky outside the balcony.

The sunlight shone from his side, casting distinct shadows on his face. His jawline was clear, his Adam's apple prominent, and the collar of his white shirt was open, revealing a bit of his collarbone.

Lin Qiaoyou began to draw.

Once she entered a creative state, she was like a different person.

Focused, professional; in her eyes, there was only the paper and the model.

"Raise your head a bit more."

"Yes, just like that."

"Tuck your chin in a little."

"Good, hold that."

She directed while drawing; although her voice was still soft, there was a kind of unquestionable certainty in her tone.

Su Bai maintained that posture, motionless.

The sun was nice, shining warmly on his body. He looked at the sky outside the balcony, his mind blank.

After drawing for about twenty minutes, Lin Qiaoyou put down her brush.

"Okay," she said, "let's change into another outfit."

Su Bai stretched his slightly stiff shoulders.

"Change into what?"

Lin Qiaoyou thought about it.

"Sportswear."

Su Bai went back to his room and changed into a black sports outfit.

This time it was all black: a black hoodie and black sweatpants.

The hoodie was a loose style, but it still couldn't hide the lines of his figure.

Lin Qiaoyou's eyes lit up.

"Sit on the chair," she said, "with one leg crossed over the other, your elbow resting on the armrest, and your chin resting in your palm."

Su Bai followed suit.

The sunlight shone from behind him, gilding him with a golden edge.

Lin Qiaoyou began to draw again.

She drew very earnestly, looking up from time to time, then lowering her head to draw a few strokes on the paper. The sunlight shone on her face, and her eyelashes cast a small shadow under her eyelids.

After drawing for another twenty minutes, she put down her brush.

"There's one last outfit," she said.

Su Bai looked at her.

Lin Qiaoyou's face suddenly turned red.

She lowered her head, staring at her brush, and didn't speak for a long time.

Su Bai waited for a while.

"Are we still changing clothes?" he asked.

The tips of Lin Qiaoyou's ears turned red.

She said softly, her voice as small as a mosquito's hum: "Could you... take off your shirt?"
