110: Capudo's Warning

Sitting quietly in the cultivation room, Reck adjusted his state and took out a stone flower fruit.

Swallowing the stone flower fruit, Reck felt a surge of powerful energy flowing through his body. He then focused on digesting the energy of the fruit.

It took an entire day for him to completely finish digesting this stone flower fruit.

"This effect is much better than what Anatolis said!"

Whether it was because Dora's enhancement effect on the stone flower fruit was too good or because of Reck's high talent, this single stone flower fruit directly boosted Reck's strength to Silver Peak.

In addition, Reck's mana core also improved significantly, reaching high-tier Bronze.

After digesting the first stone flower fruit, Reck rode Reck out for a lap to adapt to his newly increased strength before returning to the cultivation room.

After adjusting his state, Reck ate the second stone flower fruit.

This time, the effect of the stone flower fruit was much weaker than the first. It only took Reck half a day to finish digesting the second one.

"Still at Silver Peak, only the quality and quantity of my battle qi have improved significantly. It seems that even if I consume another stone flower fruit, I won't be able to break through to Gold Rank."

After sensing the effect of the second stone flower fruit, Reck lost confidence in breaking through directly to Gold Rank.

The effectiveness of the second stone flower fruit was cut in half; there was little point in eating a third.

Reck did not continue eating the fruits, but instead took out a portion of stone flower juice to consume.

The efficacy of the stone flower juice was similar to the fruit, but gentler, making it very easy for Reck to absorb.

In less than half a day, Reck had completely absorbed and digested the stone flower juice.

"The stone flower juice really does have the effect of improving aptitude, but for me, this small improvement is better than nothing."

Anatolis had told Reck that stone flower juice could improve aptitude and talent. After using it himself, Reck found it indeed had some effect, but since he was already a genius with extremely high aptitude, the improvement provided by the juice was very average.

After consuming two stone flower fruits and one portion of stone flower juice, Reck's strength as a knight had risen to Silver Peak, and his mage level had also broken through to Silver Rank.

He felt that the battle qi and mana within his body were extremely surging, and the two forces continued to strengthen his physical body and mental power.

"Not bad, a wonderful feeling!"

After testing the stone flower fruit and juice, Reck went out to find Kapdo.

The best way to maximize the benefits of top-tier magic plants like the stone flower fruit is to concoct them into potions.

However, Reck did not fully trust Kapdo yet. Handing over such a rare and sought-after top-tier treasure like the stone flower fruit to Kapdo made Reck a bit uncertain if Kapdo would leave some hidden hand behind.

So, Reck tried it himself first; he would go to Kapdo to refine the rest into potions later. Even if an accident occurred, Reck could bear the loss.

When Reck found Kapdo, the Potion Master sat before him and stared deeply at him for quite a while.

"Master Kapdo, what is this?"

Reck was a bit confused; he didn't know what was wrong with Kapdo today.

"Reck, your strength has actually increased so much. It seems that when you went out a few days ago, you didn't just gain the friendship of a Spirit of Nature, but other rewards as well."

"Yes, Master Kapdo, that is exactly why I came to see you today."

As he spoke, Reck took out a stone flower fruit and a portion of stone flower juice.

"These are treasures I luckily obtained in the depths of the Black Mountain Range, called stone flower fruit and stone flower juice."

Reck gave Kapdo a detailed account of the stone life flower and the effects of its fruit and juice.

Kapdo was greatly shocked after hearing this.

"I didn't expect such rare treasures to exist in the depths of the Black Mountain Range. That stone life flower is likely already a gold grade magical plant. A magic plant of this level must be guarded by a powerful magic beast nearby. To think you could obtain such a treasure, it's truly remarkable."

Regarding Kapdo's question, Reck smiled without saying a word and did not explain further.

"Master Kapdo, I came today to ask you to refine these top-tier magic plants into potions."

Kapdo carefully inspected the stone flower fruit and juice, then placed the two treasures on the table.

"We'll talk about refining the potions later. I want to discuss something else first."

"Something else? What are you referring to, Master Kapdo?"

"That Spirit of Nature. How did you sign a contract with that Spirit of Nature?"

"You mean Dora?"

"It was purely by chance, an accident you could say!"

Reck said casually, "Maybe Dora thought I was a good person, so she signed a contract with me."

Kapdo looked at Reck thoughtfully.

"Perhaps you're right. Maybe that Spirit of Nature really did see that you're a good person and signed a contract with you."

"I underestimated you before, Reck. To be able to sign a contract with a Spirit of Nature, you've truly impressed me."

"Master Kapdo, am I really that amazing?"

Reck didn't care much, but Kapdo nodded very solemnly.

"Very amazing!"

"However, I must warn you: do not tell anyone else about your contract with the Spirit of Nature. The news that the Red River Territory has a Spirit of Nature must never spread, otherwise you will be in big trouble."

When Cecilia told Kapdo about Dora, Kapdo was shocked. His instinct told him it was fake.

A Spirit of Nature—Kapdo had only ever heard of such Legendary creatures and seen records of them in ancient books; he had never personally encountered one.

Kapdo personally went to the Medicinal Herb Field. After seeing Dora tending to the magic plants there, Kapdo could no longer control his emotions. He trembled with excitement, and even the mana in his body became unstable.

Because of his loss of emotional control, Dora was startled by Kapdo and hid directly in her treehouse. It took Cecilia quite a while to coax her out.

After that, Kapdo did not bother Dora again. He returned to his room to calm down and had been waiting for a chance to find Reck. He hadn't expected Reck to come to him first as soon as he finished his cultivation.

Seeing Kapdo so solemn and hearing the weight of his words, Reck also understood the seriousness of the matter.

"A Spirit of Nature is a unique creature Legendary for being born from the natural world. They have no parents, are born from the earth and sky, and are protected by the will of nature from birth."

"As long as a Spirit of Nature does not die prematurely, they will surely step into the Legendary Realm in the future and will walk very far on that path."

"Rumor has it that Spirits of Nature have various miraculous abilities. They can grant longevity, help people increase their strength to break through to the Legendary Realm, grant eternal youth, and so on."

Kapdo listed the stirring abilities of a Spirit of Nature one by one.

"That's impossible. How could Dora have such abilities?"

Reck didn't believe it at all.

"Of course, many rumors are untrue, but it's undeniable that Spirits of Nature indeed possess many miraculous abilities."

"The Spirit of Nature you contracted is just a newly born juvenile. She hasn't mastered many abilities yet. Once she steps into the Legendary Realm, she will naturally master these miraculous powers."

"So I must warn you: even if you have already signed a contract with her, if Evil God Believers or other ill-intentioned people find out, they will absolutely use any means necessary to seize this Spirit of Nature."

"Although harming a Spirit of Nature will bring down punishment from the will of nature, that's not enough to make those villains give up their pursuit."

"Furthermore, for Evil Gods and Chaos Believers, a Spirit of Nature is the best possible sacrifice."

"Do you understand?"

"You must keep this secret strictly. You absolutely cannot let outsiders know!"
