94: Red Dragon Queen

"Ignore them, why should we care about that?"

"You and I aren't Ordinance Knights, and besides, how many years has it been since even the Ordinance Knights of the Golden City appeared in the Northern Territory?"

"The Thousand-Year Iron Law?"

"Weren't the rules set by His Majesty the Golden King and the Archdukes a thousand years ago also not public? It's just an open secret among the upper nobility. Who can openly say it is the kingdom's law?"

"A thousand years have passed. How are the current nobles implementing the many statutes established by that King?"

"Are they truly acting according to that King's intentions?"

"I think, perhaps not?"

Everything Alistair said were questions Field couldn't answer, so he could only lower his head again and choose to be selectively deaf.

"Alright, let's leave it at that. What Ren wants to do on his own territory is his right. Since even the kingdom's Ordinance Knights haven't interfered, we shouldn't either."

"Thank you for your trouble this time, President Field!"

Alistair proactively ended the topic, and Field finally breathed a sigh of relief. He also wanted to end the conversation with Alistair as quickly as possible to avoid bringing trouble upon himself.

"It is my duty, Young Master Alistair!"

While the Bright Moon Territory was bustling with construction, a storm was brewing deep within the Black Mountain Range, directly north of the Bright Moon Territory.

In the center of the Black Mountain Range, a peak soaring into the clouds stood out among the surrounding mountains like a crane among chickens.

Countless Alien Tribes and various groups of magical beasts were gathering in the nearby mountains, surrounding the tallest peak in the middle.

Suddenly, several massive figures flew across the sky, followed by several loud roars that echoed through the surrounding forests.

"Dragons!"

"Dragons!"

"Dragons!"

The Goblins, Gnolls, and other alien races in the forest knelt on the ground and shouted continuously upon seeing the huge figures in the sky, while the magical beasts roared frantically, their eyes burning with the fanaticism of true believers seeing their own true god.

The three Dragons swept past the nearby forests and landed on the tallest peak in the center amidst the worship of countless alien races.

Atop the towering peak, a magnificent palace stood at the summit.

The three Dragons landed on the palace, then transformed into three handsome men and beautiful women, human forms, and walked into the palace.

"Marcel, Hammond, Camino, pay respects to the great Flame Controller, Lord of Dragon Peak, Her Majesty the Red Dragon Queen!"

The three Dragons knelt on one knee and loudly recited the revered title. Before them, on a high platform, sat a massive golden throne, upon which sat an overwhelmingly beautiful woman.

Fiery red long hair combined with a haughty gaze gave her aura an extremely flamboyant presence.

"All of you, rise!"

A lazy voice drifted down from the high platform. The three Dragons rose and stood to the side.

Over a hundred powerful individuals had gathered in the great hall, some in human form, others resembling Goblins or Kobolds among the alien races.

However, these alien figures were all tall, some bearing dragon scales or having dragon tails, all possessing partial characteristics of the Dragon race.

"I only slept for less than a hundred years, and you fellows have improved quite a bit!"

Olivia glanced at the Retainers and followers standing in the hall. Several Retainers had advanced a level, and quite a few unfamiliar faces had appeared.

The lowest strength among those who could enter this hall was Gold Rank. These new faces that had appeared were clearly Retainers who had broken through to the Gold Rank over the past hundred years.

Roderick, standing at the forefront, bowed in response to Olivia.

"Under Your Majesty's scorching and glorious radiance, your Retainers naturally do not dare to lag behind and strive to become stronger!"

Roderick was the current leader of the Dragon Worship Cult and Olivia's right-hand man, managing the massive Dragon Worship Cult for her.

Standing behind Roderick was a line of core members of the Dragon Worship Cult, the High Priests.

Opposite Roderick stood the Dragon followers led by the Red Dragon Zelia, who showed disdain for Roderick's flattery.

Zelia, like Olivia, had striking red hair, but hers was short. Her sculpted features combined with a height exceeding 1.9 meters made Zelia look heroic and valiant.

"Your Majesty, what do you require of us now that you have awakened?"

Olivia yawned and stretched lazily, her proud figure displayed perfectly. However, among the powerful figures below the high platform, only Zelia dared to look directly at the Queen.

"My dear Zelia, you are still as impatient as ever!"

“Not long ago, an Archbishop from the Four Demon Gods Sect approached me, proposing we cooperate to deal with the Human Kingdom to the South.”

“The Four Demon Gods Sect?”

“Those disgusting wretches who worship the Four Demon Gods of the Chaos Demon Abyss. What cooperation could we possibly have with them?”

“Besides, we have been at peace with the Human Kingdom to the South for nearly two hundred years. There's no need to ally with the Four Demon Gods Sect against them. That Golden King is no easy target.”

Zelia held no good feelings for the followers of the Chaos Demon Gods. She felt those people were all mentally unstable, and the human kingdom was certainly not a soft target to be bullied at will.

Olivia smiled and took out an object, causing the Dragon followers below the stage to widen their eyes.

“That guy offered a price tempting enough!”

A shining Dragon Crystal appeared in Olivia's hand.

“A Dragon Crystal from a third-tier Legendary Dragon, and that was just the deposit!”

“If I agree to cooperate and jointly attack the Human Kingdom to the South, they are willing to pay a Dragon Crystal from a Legendary Dragon King!”

“A Legendary Dragon King!”

Hearing this name, Zelia couldn't remain calm. The dozen or so Dragons behind her also had unstable breaths, and a powerful aura surged within the great hall.

“Which Dragon King's Dragon Crystal is it?”

“Wyatt, the Blue Dragon King from three thousand years ago.”

“His Majesty Wyatt, the Sky Blue Sacred Wing! It's actually his? Rumor has it he died at the hands of an Evil God three thousand years ago. I never expected his Dragon Crystal would be in the hands of the Four Demon Gods Sect.”

“Did the Four Demon Gods Sect kill His Majesty Wyatt?”

Olivia shook her head, denying Zelia's guess.

“Wyatt did indeed die during the Evil God Turmoil. Although I didn't directly participate in that great war three thousand years ago, I had some involvement. I even met that old fellow Wyatt back then.”

“I advised him not to get involved in human disputes, but he wouldn't listen, resulting in his demise. It was a loss for our Dragon race as well.”

Mentioning Wyatt, Olivia couldn't help but recall the scenes from three thousand years ago. As an immortal species, she was still young then, only a few hundred years old, having just broken through to the Legendary Realm. She was considered a rising star among Dragons and had once paid respects to the Blue Dragon King Wyatt.

“I have examined it. This Dragon Crystal belongs to Wyatt’s spouse. Wyatt died in battle alongside his Dragon Queen. Since the Four Demon Gods Sect can produce this Dragon Crystal, Wyatt's Dragon Crystal is most likely in their possession as well.”

“I must have that Dragon Crystal!”

Olivia's domineering gaze swept over everyone present in the great hall.

“Roderick, you mobilize the influence of the Dragon Worship Cult. Zelia, you lead Marcel and the others to prepare.”

“When the Four Demon Gods Sect is ready, we will cooperate with them to launch an attack on the human kingdom. I am determined to obtain the Dragon King's Dragon Crystal.”

“Yes, Your Majesty!”

Olivia issued the command, and Zelia, Roderick, and the others had no choice but to obey.

“Everyone else may leave. Zelia, you stay!”

Soon, only Zelia and Olivia remained in the great hall.

“Aren't you coming up?”

Olivia glanced at Zelia, and only then did Zelia walk onto the high platform.

“Take this Dragon Crystal. With its aid, you will break through to the Third-Tier Legendary Realm in no time.”

“Your Majesty, don't you need it?”

“Call me Olivia!”

The Red Dragon Queen pinched Zelia's cheek, feeling the texture was still as good as before. She pinched it a few more times, reluctant to let go.

“This thing isn't of much use to me. Only Wyatt's Dragon Crystal would be useful to me.”

“As long as I can obtain Wyatt's Dragon Crystal this time and absorb it, I will definitely break through to the Extreme Realm King Domain.”

“So we are really going to help the Four Demon Gods Sect? I feel they are no different from Evil God Believers. Cooperating with them might end up costing us more than we gain!”

“It's merely each taking what they need. I know what I'm doing; you don't need to worry.”

“The Four Demon Gods of Chaos disappeared tens of thousands of years ago. It's uncertain whether those four ancient beings are still alive; perhaps they vanished long ago, just like the Gods.”

“Those guys from the Four Demon Gods Sect merely want to open an Abyss Gate through sacrifices to try and summon a few Greater Demons. At most, it will just be organizing another Ascension Ritual.”

“In ten thousand years, I've never heard of any of their Ascension Rituals succeeding!”

As Olivia spoke, her hands began to wander over Zelia’s body, causing Zelia’s gaze to become somewhat unfocused.

“Tsk tsk, my little Zelia is even more sensitive than before.”

Olivia's laughter echoed unrestrainedly within the magnificent golden hall.
