163: White Wolf's Choice

"If you want the White Wolf to submit, you must show your strength, stranger."

"The warriors of the White Wolf are not so easily conquered!"

As the White Wolf Chieftain spoke, his aura surged. A tall, pure white Magic Wolf lunged out from the side, and the White Wolf Chieftain leaped up, landing steadily on the White Wolf's back.

"Warriors of the White Wolf, where are you?"

At the White Wolf Chieftain's call, the nearby members of the White Wolf Tribe responded one after another, and hundreds of White Wolf Knights swarmed in from all directions.

Renn watched quietly as the White Wolf Chieftain gathered his warriors; he now quite admired this White Wolf Chieftain and the warriors under his command.

"The White Wolves' strength is decent—they're all Bronze Rank. However, they aren't wind-attributed but ice-attributed; the magic power they emit is of the frost attribute."

Kapdo landed beside Renn and said, "Those White Wolves should all be lair creatures. It looks like there's a Wolfs Nest in this tribe."

"Oh?"

Renn's eyes lit up.

"No wonder these White Wolves have decent strength. Those knights, however, are far worse; their strength is uneven."

The hundreds of White Wolves were uniformly Bronze Rank, but among those hundreds of knights, very few were Bronze Rank. Most were Black Iron Rank, and some were even just ordinary soldiers, not Professionals.

"This chieftain's strength is actually quite good—Low-tier Gold Rank. Anyone who can break through to the Gold Rank in a Sub-plane is a person of extreme talent."

Kapdo looked down at the White Wolf Chieftain, who was preparing for battle.

"Do you want to take him under your command?"

"Yes!"

Renn nodded.

"Although his strength is the same as yours—both Low-tier Gold Rank—he is limited by his background. Both his combat techniques and equipment are much worse than yours. Plus, your talent, Renn, is at least as strong as his, if not stronger. You're already superior to an average Gold Knight in terms of combat techniques and Battle Qi."

"Dealing with this Sub-plane Gold Rank warrior should be a piece of cake. The hope of subduing this tribe should be very high."

"It seems this Sub-plane exploration has an excellent start; we'll be able to harvest quite a lot!"

Hearing Kapdo say this, Renn also revealed a smile.

"I have to swallow it first before it can be considered mine!"

With a thought from Renn, Reck threw his head back and howled. Subsequently, in the eyes of the White Wolf Tribe, over a hundred Magic Wolf Knights came treading through the air, and no one dared to block their path.

The Magic Wolf partners beneath the Magic Wolf Knights were either Wasteland Wolves or Black Wolves. Their bodies were filled with wind elementals magic power. Bronze Rank Magic Wolves were already capable of brief aerial gliding.

The White Wolves of the White Wolf Tribe, however, were all frost-attributed Magic Wolves and did not possess the ability to stay airborne.

Looking at the majestic Magic Wolf Knights in mid-air, the people of the White Wolf Tribe felt complex emotions, especially the White Wolf Chieftain.

He could see that the Wolf Knights before him were much stronger than the White Wolf Knights under his command. The strength of the two leaders was even more unfathomable. Yet, he was not afraid at all; instead, his fighting spirit surged.

Drawing his Battle Blade, the White Wolf Chieftain roared toward the sky, "Fight!"

"Fight! Fight! Fight!"

The White Wolf warriors were equally fearless, and more White Wolf tribesmen continued to gather around them.

The White Wolf Chieftain signaled those tribesmen not to approach. This was a battle between warriors, and it might even involve the future of the tribe; he did not need ordinary tribesmen to participate.

"Ross, back me up!"

"Yes, Lord!"

Ross understood and led the Magic Wolf Knights to retreat to the side.

On the other side, the White Wolf Knights also cleared a space. The Wolf Knights from both sides formed a circle on the periphery. The White Wolf Knights looked at their chieftain with solemn gazes; they could sense Renn's power.

Ross and the others, however, were not worried at all; they were full of confidence in Renn.

"Come!"

Renn entered the field calmly, without any flashy posture, signaling the White Wolf Chieftain that he could begin.

Cold light erupted from the Battle Blade in the White Wolf Chieftain's hand, and white Battle Qi scattered. The freezing cold caused a layer of frost to appear on the surrounding ground. Renn could clearly feel how biting the oncoming chill was.

Facing a strong enemy, the White Wolf Chieftain used a killing move right from the start without holding back. In his eyes, this was a move of "seeking life in death"—either victory or defeat, with no way back.

"Interesting. I thought you were just a brute, but it turns out you're a smart man."

Renn saw through the opponent's move. It seemed like a desperate, all-out effort, but in reality, the chieftain believed Renn wouldn't strike to kill and only wanted to subdue him.

So in just an instant, the White Wolf Chieftain seized this advantage, expanded his combat power to the limit, and used a completely suicidal fighting style.

"Thinking more is useless; strength is everything!"

"Running Wolf!"

"Wild Howl!"

The White Wolf Chieftain's attack was instantly shattered. The overwhelming chill was dispersed, and the frost on the ground vanished without a trace under the explosive Battle Qi.

With a bang, the White Wolf Chieftain was sent flying. However, he had guessed correctly; Renn indeed had no intention of killing him.

"And now?"

Renn looked down at the White Wolf warriors from above. Beneath him, Reck's disdainful gaze swept over them, and the White Wolves bowed their heads one after another.

*Cough, cough, cough!*

"You have proven your strength, stranger. But can you really lead us out of here?"

"Since I could come here, I can naturally leave. My territory is large enough to accommodate the survival of everyone in this plane, let alone just you."

The White Wolf Chieftain crouched, clutching the wound on his chest while panting heavily and thinking. After taking another look at the white wolf beneath Renn, he made his decision.

"The White Wolf Tribe lives by the White Wolf. Facing the end of destruction, the White Wolf appears again to save us. Perhaps this is heaven's will."

"We are willing to submit!"

The White Wolf Chieftain knelt on one knee to show his submission, and the White Wolf Knights behind him also expressed their submission without much hesitation.

Once the high-ranking members of the White Wolf Tribe knew there was a way to live, they naturally wouldn't have much conflict. Especially facing Renn, who was riding a white wolf, they didn't have much resistance and felt that Renn should be their leader.

As for the ordinary White Wolf tribesmen, after seeing the powerful Renn and Reck, they knelt and submitted directly. They were even easier to subdue than the tribal leaders.

Renn looked at the White Wolf Chieftain and asked, "What is your name?"

"My name is Montoya, my Lord!"

"Very well, Montoya. You have made a correct choice. Now gather your people and head west. There is a camp there, and inside the camp is a passage to leave this world."

"Gather your people as quickly as possible. This world will soon collapse. You don't have much time!"

"Yes, my Lord!"

Renn had subdued the White Wolf Tribe. According to Montoya, the White Wolf Tribe had over three hundred thousand people living across this plain.

These three hundred thousand people now all belonged to Renn. Having only just entered the Sub-plane, Renn had already reaped a massive harvest.

Besides the population, Renn also harvested many other good things from the White Wolf Tribe.
