241: Recognition of natural will

Inside Dora's Garden, Renn and Dora were putting all their effort into purifying the evil god statue they had seized after killing the Legendary Evil Beastman.

Renn had seen an evil god statue once before; Kapdo had one in his possession back then, which was later destroyed by Dora.

However, this evil god statue was far more powerful than the previous one; the two were simply incomparable. Even Dora could not easily destroy this statue and could only rely on the power of purification to slowly wear it down.

Anything associated with an evil god was extremely dangerous. To be safe, Renn and Dora had teamed up to purify this statue for over a month, and before that, Dora had already spent over a month purifying it alone.

It took so much time and the full effort of two Legends, Renn and Dora, for the evil god's aura of power within the statue to be gradually eroded away.

As the last wisp of the evil god's power was worn away and cleared, cracks appeared across the evil god statue. Finally, with a bang, it shattered into countless pieces, and the scattered fragments instantly turned into fly ash, completely disappearing.

Renn had only recently achieved Law Awakening and was currently mastering the process, eventually aiming to solidify his mastered law power to the point where he could use it at will.

After destroying the evil god statue and receiving the blessing, he had taken a large step forward in his cultivation of Law Awakening, drawing closer to Law Solidification.

If not for Renn and Dora's purification power, which happened to counter the Blood Flame, it wouldn't have been so smooth for the three of them to kill the Blood Flame Zaguka even in a three-on-one fight.

Ordinary Legends had no effective means of dealing with the Blood Flame and would be suppressed instantly.

This also showed the strength of a Legendary Evil Beastman. Fortunately, Renn had been cautious and brought Dora and Anatolis along instead of being overconfident; otherwise, there would have been trouble.

“First, we will perform Spirit Awakening on the treants in the outer regions of the Black Forest to make them our eyes and ears. Later, whenever there's an opportunity, I'll take you to kill those Fel Orcs and destroy more of these evil god statues.”

The area of the Black Corridor was not just on the border of the Rage Bear Territory. The Black Mountain Range met the High Rock Hills to the east and reached the Frostchill Corridor to the west. The entire Black Corridor spanned thousands of miles across the three Archduchies of Cold Wind, Rage Bear, and stag.

Renn's current deployment was only in the Rage Bear Territory section, and it didn't even include the portion near the Iron Wall Fortress. More than two-thirds of the remaining Black Corridor had no defenses at all.

Whether in the Cold Wind Territory or the Stag Territory, the Black Corridor regions were all unmanaged areas. Like the Rage Bear Territory, they were vacuum zones. Renn intended to completely take control of this entire region this time.

The Treant Clan and the Wolf Pack were the foundation of Renn's confidence in controlling the Black Corridor.

Anatolis could continue to conquer the Wolf Packs within the Black Corridor regions of the Cold Wind and stag Territories, while Renn and Dora could continue to awaken the treants in those places. It wouldn't be long before the entire Black Corridor was under Renn's control.

To others, the Black Corridor was a useless land full of desolation and danger, but in Renn's eyes, this corridor was highly valuable and would surely have its day of use in the future.

Renn had always been a man of action. After settling the affairs of his territory, he took Dora and began their operations. Anatolis also set out to conquer the Wolf Packs scattered in various places.

The first area they started with was the region managed by the Iron Wall Fortress.

Renn made a trip back to the Iron Wall Fortress. The entire fortress was already being transformed according to Renn's will.

The reorganization of the Border Defense Army and the construction of the fortress were proceeding in an orderly fashion.

The construction of the fortress mainly focused on improving auxiliary buildings.
