225: Tree of Life

Dora's garden had become extremely vast after several expansions.

The area where the stone life flower and Rainbow Spring were once located used to be the core; now they had been moved to the side, as the new core of Dora's garden had just been freshly established.

Surging water element power soared into the sky, only to be restrained by the Magic Array and transformed into a fine drizzle that fell upon the Magical Plant Garden.

Renn had obtained a total of five elemental cornerstones from the Ancient Tree World, including an extra water elemental cornerstone.

After discussing it with Dora, Renn and Dora joined forces to use this elemental cornerstone to create a large-scale magic fountain in the center of the Magical Plant Garden.

The magic fountain created with the water elemental cornerstone was much larger in scale than the original Rainbow Spring, and the gushing spring water quickly accumulated into a small pool.

"The effect of this spring water on magic plants should be quite helpful. These elemental cornerstones are truly useful; it would be great if I could get more of them."

Seeing that the magic fountain was working well, Renn wanted to make a few more, but unfortunately, he had no more elemental cornerstones in his possession.

Dora went to the very center of the magic fountain's core, took out the seed of life given to her by the Ancient Tree, threw it in, and then began to cast a spell to bestow a blessing upon the seed of life.

As the seed of life fell, the dense natural power in the surroundings began to surge, flying toward the seed of life, while the seed greedily absorbed the magic spring water.

Only moments later, the seed of life began to take root and sprout. A small tree rose from the core of the magic fountain, growing to four or five meters high in the blink of an eye before it stopped growing.

Sensing that this small tree had an aura almost identical to that of the Ancient Tree, Renn asked curiously, "Is this the Ancient Tree?"

"No, it might become a new Ancient Tree in the future, but it certainly won't be the one from before."

"It is a newborn tree of life. With its roots in the magic fountain, the spring water can nourish it, and it can also influence the water, infusing it with life energy to turn it into a Spring of Life."

Although it was still only a seedling, the tree of life's intense life aura was already able to affect its surroundings. The magic spring water circling the tree of life was also infused with the life aura, adding life and vitality to the water, which left Renn very satisfied.

The Flower Fairies who had been watching from the sidelines swarmed forward upon seeing the newborn tree of life, fluttering around it. Lecis gently stroked the newborn branches of the tree of life, her expression extremely excited.

With the seed of life planted, the upgrade and renovation of the Magical Plant Garden came to an end. Renn and Dora left Red River Fortress and headed for the Black Corridor.

The tens of thousands of members of the Treant Clan had been distributed throughout the forest region of the Black Corridor. Dora needed to see for herself how they were doing and settle them in completely; this was her promise.

Two figures flew rapidly through the forest. After breaking through to the Legendary Realm, Renn had gained the ability to fly at high speeds, and his speed was even a bit faster than Reck's, so he no longer traveled on Reck's back.

Reck was left at Red River Fortress to work hard on improving his strength. A batch of gold grade magical plants had matured, including a wind-attribute rosy cloud tree leaf.

The gold-grade clansias blessing potion, produced after Kapdo's refinement, was given to Reck to enhance his strength and potential.

Because of Dora's blessing, there were many gold grade magical plant materials in this harvest, so Kapdo was going to be busy for a while.

Soon, quite a few gold-grade potions would be produced, enough to cover all the subordinates in the Red River Territory that Renn needed to nurture.

In the forest, an Ancient Tree was awakened by Dora to become a newborn Treant. Its hundred-meter-tall body gave this Treant Gold Rank strength; this was the first Gold Rank Treant Dora had awakened.

"From now on, you will be the Treant Elder of this area, responsible for caring for and leading the Treants here to guard this forest. Anyone who destroys the forest is an enemy and must be eliminated. You must fulfill this mission well!"

"Yes, Great Highness!"

The Gold Rank Treant Elder was not only powerful but also much more intelligent than ordinary Treants, with an ability to express himself no different from a normal human.

In this way, Dora and Renn spent their time in the forest awakening newborn Treants while checking on the Treant Clan members who had migrated there.

The area of the Black Corridor belonging to Renn reached the border of the Stag Territory to the east and extended to the area under the jurisdiction of the Iron Wall Fortress to the west. This corridor was several hundred kilometers long, accounting for more than two-thirds of the northern border of the Rage Bear Territory.

The other third of the northern border was guarded by the Iron Wall Fortress.

Fortunately, the section of the Black Corridor managed by Renn did not have large mountain passes like the ones at the Iron Wall Fortress connecting to the Wasteland of Chaos to the north, so they did not clash with forces like the Fel Orcs on the Wasteland of Chaos.

While Renn and Dora were busy in the Black Corridor, Alistair and the others in the Red River Territory were also constantly busy.

With Renn breaking through to the Legendary Realm, Alistair felt a sense of urgency alongside her excitement. She began to be strict with herself, and her previously somewhat lax state completely disappeared.

The Red River Territory Mage Academy already had hundreds of Mage Apprentices studying within it.

As one of the earliest and most brilliant geniuses among them, Luke's strength had reached the peak of the Black Iron Rank and was about to break through to the Bronze Rank. Not long ago, he had even independently crafted a clay golem.

Luke's astonishing performance caused Alistair to increase her efforts in nurturing him, tilting more resources in his direction.

Inside the Crimson Glory Mage Tower, piece after piece of magic equipment was being crafted and installed through the efforts of many mages.

Magic laboratories, workshops, and classrooms—magic facilities with different functions were quickly put into operation. While benefiting the apprentices of the Mage Academy, they also made all the Spellcasters of the Red River Territory cheer with joy.

The crude conditions of the past were gone forever. Now, they not only had major equipment upgrades but also a sufficient supply of magic power for various magic item crafting and experiments, as well as a large number of apprentices to assist them.

The strength of these mages advanced by leaps and bounds under these circumstances, which greatly pleased the hard-working Alistair.

"My Lady, the Engineering Mages sent out to construct the road connecting Red River City and Blackstone City have sent word. They have completed the construction of the road and are reporting to you."

One of Alistair's assistant mages handed over the report in his hand.

"Distribute the rewards for completing their mission. Also, tell them that the road transport network for the various mining areas in Blackstone City planned by the Government Affairs Hall needs to be completed as soon as possible, and let them continue."

Renn had always attached great importance to the road transportation issues within the territory. Back then, he had even personally constructed the roads within Red River City. Now that Renn didn't have the time, it was all delegated to the Engineering Mages he had trained before.

After taking charge of the territory's mage team, Alistair also clearly knew where Renn's priorities lay. She had never neglected the training of Engineering Mages, and the Engineering Mage team of the Red River Territory continued to grow.

Under the lure of a large amount of resources, these mages had long since lost any negative feelings about building bridges and roads. Now, some Engineering Mages were even afraid of having no work to do; if a friend they knew worked for a few more days and came back significantly stronger than them, who could stand that?

There were now four or five more bridges over the Red River, and wide, flat stone roads leading to all parts of the territory were everywhere. Along these roads were towns that were gradually becoming prosperous.

To the south, Blackstone City had begun to take shape after half a year of construction.

The Red River Territory's caravans continuously brought in people from the south to fill Blackstone City and the various mining towns, making this land start to bustle with life again.

As the days passed, Renn's wedding date on October 10th drew closer and closer.
