223: Elemental Foundation

After Kapdo and Cecilia's issues were completely resolved, Ren waited for Dora to recover before starting the upgrade and renovation of the Magical Plant Garden with her.

Dora took the lead throughout the entire process, with Ren assisting from the side.

After advancing to Legendary, Dora's blessing effect was much stronger than before. As Dora flew over, all the magic plants in the Magical Plant Garden began evolving towards a higher level.

A large number of Black Iron Rank magic plants evolved to Bronze Rank, Bronze Rank magic plants evolved to Silver Rank, and even among the nearly hundred Silver Rank magic plants, a few lucky ones evolved to Gold Rank.

The stone life flower and the rosy cloud tree, which were already gold grade magical plants, received Dora's special attention. Ren stood by, helping Dora bless and enhance the two gold grade magical plants.

Finally, the life aura of the stone life flower and the rosy cloud tree significantly increased. Clearly, they both received immense benefits this time, though they remained at the Gold Rank magic plant level and had not broken through the constraint of rank to become Legendary magic plants.

The fruits of the stone life flower, which originally needed several years to ripen, were now mature, and their quantity had increased to an astonishing thirty-plus.

The small pool accumulating stone flower juice also gained a lot of newly generated stone flower juice.

On the rosy cloud tree on the other side, more than twenty leaves shining with various colors appeared. Dozens of rosy cloud tree leaves were dazzling and spectacular.

Ren also took Dora around the Medicinal Herb Field near the Magical Plant Garden, resulting in a large amount of ordinary medicinal materials evolving into Black Iron Rank magic plants.

The entire blessing ceremony lasted for over half a month. Ren and Dora did not rest for a moment, even taking a trip to the Redwood Grove to bless and enhance the Redwoods, transforming the Redwood Grove into the Redwood Forest.

Perhaps breaking through to Legendary had matured Dora's temperament significantly; she had no complaints during the half-month of busy work. Previously, she would have certainly lost patience and wanted to go play elsewhere.

After the great improvement in the quality and quantity of magic plants, the scale of the Magical Plant Garden also expanded several times over. Dora's Garden was the most noticeable, with a sea of flowers appearing beside Dora's Treehouse.

The Flower Fairies followed Dora's orders, tending to these newly evolved magic plants. Although the number of magic plants in the Magical Plant Garden was considerable, caring for them posed no difficulty for the hundreds of Flower Fairies; they even had plenty of leisure time.

Under the renovation and enhancement by Ren and Dora, two Legendaries, the Magical Plant Garden transformed into a land of fantasy. Covered by a large Magic Array, outsiders could not peer into its reality.

After working hard for over half a month, Ren told Dora to rest well. In a few days, they would go to the Black Corridor again to check on the Treant Clan and continue awakening new Treants.

Ren himself returned to the Crimson Glory Mage Tower first, preparing to upgrade and enhance the Mage Tower.

Ren's process of advancing to Legendary was extremely unique, resulting in his advancement not being a single Warrior Class advancement or Spellcaster advancement, but rather both professions breaking through to Legendary.

He also received the complete inheritance of Ancient Tree of Life Ancient Tree in his mind. Ancient Tree's knowledge resided within his mind.

However, Ancient Tree's inheritance was too vast. Ren could not completely accept the massive knowledge and memories all at once and could only slowly sort through and assimilate them.

Ren could now be called either a Warrior or a Mage. Under the special state enhancement he received months ago when accepting the inheritance, he also re-perfected the Azure Wolf Breathing Technique.

The current Azure Wolf Breathing Technique content not only includes the Warrior Class but also the Spellcaster content, along with quite a bit of content related to the Nature element.

This newly added portion does not belong to the Warrior, nor does it resemble a Mage; it is entirely a unique method of cultivation.

The Azure Wolf Breathing Technique, having undergone a complete transformation, had changed drastically. In the future, it would only be suitable for Ren to cultivate—a unique secret technique—but no matter how strange or special the Azure Wolf Breathing Technique was, its power could not be denied.

The current Azure Wolf Breathing Technique is much more powerful than the Legendary secret technique, Sacred Heart Breathing Technique, in Ren's possession.

"The Wild Wolf Knight Derrick was called a favored one of the spirit of the wilderness because he could coexist with the magic wolf, but I am now a genuine favored one of the Spirit of Nature."

Ren took out a brand new treasure he obtained in the Cui Weng World—the elemental cornerstone.

It was the special crystal he didn't recognize back then, containing massive elemental energy and the rhythm of laws.

After communicating with Kapdo and consulting the records of Ancient Tree's knowledge inheritance in his mind, Ren got the answer he wanted.

The treasure he discovered is called the elemental cornerstone. It is the most fundamental component of any world and the most crucial part of a world's structure. This treasure can only be found under extremely special circumstances.

World Fragmentation is one such special circumstance; it is when the elemental cornerstone can be discovered and acquired.

A world is composed of the four elements: Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. The function of the elemental cornerstone is precisely to allow the world to possess these four elements, thereby fulfilling the conditions for the world's birth.

Although relying solely on the power of the elemental cornerstone is far from enough for the birth of a new world—it requires even stronger power—this does not imply the elemental cornerstone is weak. On the contrary, the elemental cornerstone is incredibly powerful and precious.

The elemental cornerstone contains a large amount of elemental power. For a Legendary Expert, the elemental cornerstone is like a high-grade recovery pack; they can absorb the elemental power to restore their strength. However, this is the most wasteful way to use the elemental cornerstone.

For Ren, the elemental cornerstone has an even greater use.

At this moment, Kapdo, Alistair, and others had already arrived at the Mage Tower's mana pool. The Magic Arrays that needed to be set up were already completed in advance, and now the final and most crucial step needed to be completed.

Ren took out the four elemental cornerstones—Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire—and placed them in the reserved spots inside the mana pool.

"Let's begin!"

As Ren activated the mana pool to operate the Magic Array, Kapdo and the others nervously joined the Spellcaster team, and immense magic power instantly gushed out.

What Ren needed to do was use the elemental cornerstones to communicate with the Four Elemental Planes affiliated with the Noah Main Plane.

As long as the mana pool connected with the Four Elemental Planes, it could draw endless elemental power from them to replenish consumption, meaning the Mage Tower would then possess an inexhaustible source of magic power.

Perhaps because the correlation between the elemental cornerstones and the Elemental Planes was stronger than Ren anticipated, the process of connecting the Magic Array composed of the four elemental cornerstones to the Four Elemental Planes was not too difficult.

However, the sudden surge of violent elemental power that erupted after connecting to the Four Elemental Planes nearly destroyed the mana pool. It took Ren and his companions considerable effort to stabilize the violent elemental power.

"Fortunately, the elemental cornerstones obtained in the Cui Weng World formed a complete set of four elements. If one element were missing, the mana pool would surely have been blasted sky-high by the violent elemental power this time."

Looking at the violent elemental power transmitted from the Elemental Planes, Ren felt a slight sense of lingering fear. His operation this time was somewhat risky.

The elemental power of the Four Elemental Planes is far more violent than the magic power of the Main Plane. If the four elemental cornerstones inside the mana pool were not complete, allowing the elemental powers to counterbalance each other and form a relatively stable state, Ren's current strength would not have been able to suppress the violent four elemental powers.

During the process of connecting the Four Elemental Planes just now, Ren and the others only had brief contact with them, and were immediately shocked by the endless violent elemental power.

Facing the Four Elemental Planes, Ren felt like a tiny ant.

The mana pool connected to the Four Elemental Planes was now filled with the four elemental powers, which were then converted into relatively stable magic power and transmitted throughout the Mage Tower via the Magic Array.

From now on, the mana pool would no longer need to be charged using other methods that consumed resources or manpower.

"Lord, did we succeed?"

Fiona looked at the elemental power surging within the mana pool with some disbelief.

"Of course we succeeded."

"But don't get too close. Your strength is still too weak. If the violent elemental power rushes into your body, your internal magic power will instantly become chaotic."

"In the future, the Magic Array of this Elemental Mana Pool must be continuously upgraded and enhanced. The current scale of the mana pool is too small and needs to be expanded later."

"I'll leave this task to you, Fiona. You are more professional in this area. Increase your strength as quickly as possible, as there will be many things for you to do in the future!"

"Your will is my mission, Lord!"

Fiona's reverence for Ren was now beyond words. At the same time, she keenly sensed that her opportunity for further advancement lay right here.

"Compared to the Four Elemental Planes, this connection isn't even a capillary. And they are only subsidiary planes of the Main Plane; they exist because the Main Plane exists."

"The Noah Main Plane is truly unfathomable!"

The contact with the Four Elemental Planes made Ren realize his insignificance. The slight pride he felt after breaking through to Legendary had vanished, and his future path was still very long.
