"Boss, there has been progress. Dr. Renault Dalson requested your inspection two days ago."

Renault's research team laboratory was on the 32nd floor of the base.

When Lin Fang arrived, the professor, who had a typical Euro-American appearance, was already waiting at the door.

"BOSS, it's wonderful that you could come. This is the first time I've met you. My name is Renault Dalson; just call me Renault."

Hearing Renault's excited introduction, Lin Fang remained noncommittal. The immortality External Neural Electrodes originated from the Digital Life Technology in the wandering earth and were indeed one of the many black technologies he had acquired.

Renault opened the isolation door, and two helmets were placed on the table. The helmets were about 55 centimeters in size and looked pitch black.

"BOSS, this is the prototype we created," Renault picked up one of the helmets and handed it to Lin Fang like a prized treasure, saying, "Its consciousness transmission efficiency has reached 99%."

"Of course. Xiao, come and demonstrate for the BOSS, or I'll kick you," Renault told another young researcher to put on the helmet.

The researcher named Xiao nervously picked up the other helmet, put it on, and sat down in the designated chair.

A simple graphic maze appeared on the screen with a small black ball inside.

"Xiao, use your mind to control it and move it out. You can't touch anything."

After Renault finished speaking, something magical happened.

Without anyone controlling it, the small black ball began to move to the right. It paused briefly at the first fork and then decisively chose the upward path...

Xiao took three minutes to exit the maze without touching anything throughout the process.

The screen in the center of the laboratory displayed a standard 3x3 Rubik's Cube, its six faces scrambled into a random state of chaos.

"This is an initial state generated according to the scrambling formula certified by the World Cube Association," Renault explained. "The current world record for a single 3x3 Rubik's Cube solve is 3.08 seconds. Let's see if it can be broken."

"Start!" Seeing that he was ready, Renault gave the command.

The Rubik's Cube on the screen spun rapidly, returning to its original state in almost the blink of an eye.

"It only took 1.2 seconds," Renault said loudly.

These were all basic applications of the immortality External Neural Electrodes; next was another function of this device.

Which was consciousness uploading.

Renault asked cautiously.
