327: Chapter 327 Parade
After finishing the oath, everyone in the basement calmed down and began to discuss matters. The man codenamed Night Owl looked at the glamorous woman and said, "Nightingale, how is your situation? You need to get news of that expert group from Stefan as soon as possible. We need to start moving before the Central Continent authorities can react."
"He already trusts me very much. I'll be able to get it out of him within two days," Nightingale replied.
"But just to be safe, I need the organization to do me a favor..."
After hearing her request, Night Owl nodded and agreed. "That's not difficult. I'll arrange it quickly. Furthermore, everyone must remember that Third-Party Technology possesses network control beyond common sense. Do not reveal your identity anywhere there is electronic surveillance or network information. Believe me, that would be a catastrophe."
"Understood!"

A new day.
Inside the office of the General Manager of the Japan branch of Third-Party Biotechnology, a middle-aged man with short blond hair, Stefan Roche, lay leisurely in his office chair.
Warm sunlight streamed through the massive floor-to-ceiling windows, spilling onto the polished log floor and falling upon Stefan's blond hair and meticulously trimmed beard. He held a cup of fragrant, freshly ground coffee in one hand, while the other casually swiped through the holographic projection floating before him.
It was currently displaying the financial briefing for the Japan branch of Third-Party Technology. The data was all in the green, and cooperation projects were progressing steadily, making Stefan's mood as bright as the weather outside.
Even though the people of this country said they didn't want it, their bodies were quite honest.
As the branch General Manager, Stefan knew well that he was sitting at the crest of the era's tide. Backed by the towering tree of Third-Party Technology, his future was limitless.
Along with the trust of the headquarters and the cooperation of the local government, everything made him full of anticipation for every day to come.
The treatment here was much better than when he was in Switzerland; back then, he was just a manager at the Switzerland branch of Third-Party Technology.
Suddenly, a gradually increasing clamor rose from beneath the building, faintly reaching Stefan's ears.
What's happening?
Stefan frowned, set down his coffee cup, stood up, and walked to the massive floor-to-ceiling window to look down.
With just one glance, Stefan's smile vanished, replaced by shock and anger. On the plaza in front of the company building and the adjacent main road, hundreds of people had gathered at some point, and their numbers were rapidly increasing. The crowd held various crudely made but fiercely worded placards.
Some people were throwing things like rotten eggs and spoiled vegetable leaves at the building. It was a scene of chaos, with a dozen or so security guards facing the crowd like a mantis trying to stop a chariot.
"Third-Party Technology get out of Japan! Protect our traditional industries!" "Evil corporation, leave this place, you are not welcome here!" "Go die!" "Boycott monopolies..."
"Fuck, are these people crazy today!"
Looking at these slogans, Stefan cursed loudly. Because of the company's development, it would inevitably touch many people's pieces of the pie, and many had lost their jobs as a result.
It wasn't the first time the company had encountered boycotts and protest marches here, but it was the first time the scale was this large, the emotions so violent, and the use of organized projectiles so prevalent.
Stefan dialed the Security Chief's number and shouted, "Listen, whatever method you use, you absolutely cannot let these people enter the building. Quickly call the Tokyo Police Department and have them send people over. At the same time, make sure the media doesn't report this, no matter how much it costs..."
After giving all the instructions, Stefan hung up the phone and looked at the people below with disgust. If the head office found out what was happening, they might question his competence.
At that moment, there was a soft knock on the office door, and it was pushed open. A slender young woman dressed in a proper professional skirt suit walked in. It had to be said, her beauty was striking.
She was Stefan's secretary.
"General Manager," the woman's voice was soft and pleasant, carrying a just-right amount of concern. "I've already heard about the situation downstairs. Have a cup of tea first to calm your nerves."
The woman cleared away the coffee from the table with elegant and composed movements.
"Asakawa Miyabi, you see it too," Stefan rubbed his brow, his tone irritable. "It's a complete mess! The police haven't arrived, the media are like sharks smelling blood, and that bunch of useless trash in the security department..."
The secretary named Asakawa Miyabi walked behind Stefan and began kneading his shoulders with just the right amount of pressure. Her soft hands helped Stefan's heart calm down slightly.
"General Manager, I feel that blindly blocking them won't work. Someone must step forward to resolve this."
Asakawa Miyabi blew gently into his ear. "I minored in social psychology in university. Why not leave this to me? I'll go soothe them."
Hearing this, Stefan looked at her in surprise, seemingly realizing for the first time that his secretary had such abilities.
