27: Chapter 27 Target: Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier
...
The next day, Lin Fang returned to the 'Old Pal Firearms' shop with a large sum of money. Now that his budget had increased, his choices naturally differed.
Under the clerk's astonished gaze, the scruffy vagrant purchased a fully-equipped HK416 and a Glock 17, plus two hundred rounds of ammunition for each, all placed into a storage case.
After paying, Lin Fang picked up the storage case and left. Fortunately, this body was a legal American citizen, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to buy them.
Arriving at a secluded corner of a park and seeing no one around, Lin Fang opened the storage case, took out a single orange-yellow bullet, and with a thought, the bullet vanished.

[Spacetime Package Status: Full Load]
The vagrant stroked the Black Watch on his wrist, deep in thought. He put the bullet back into the storage case, and the next instant, the entire case disappeared.
[Spacetime Package Status: Full Load]
Lin Fang was speechless. Storing an object—such a metaphysical rule. Did it have an upper limit?
This planet...
If feasible, wouldn't the plunder points explode?! As if thinking of something, the vagrant's smile began to twist unnaturally. The weapons storage case reappeared on the bench.
The vagrant reached his hand toward the ground, beginning to chuckle foolishly as he stroked it.
Two minutes later, no reaction...
Lin Fang sheepishly retracted his hand. After some thought, he stored the black weapons storage case back into the Spacetime Package. Several orange-yellow bullets appeared on the bench.
Not bad. It seems I can discard items to a certain extent.
After storing the bullets again, Lin Fang decided not to experiment further with the remaining time. He would just take this case out on this trip.
Taking out the 'Family Feast' fried chicken combo he bought on the way, the vagrant began to enjoy his meal. After eating and drinking his fill, he fell into a deep sleep under the brilliant sunshine and gentle breeze.
——
Time came to the afternoon.
Murray Hawthorne yawned and slowly awoke from his deep slumber, feeling incredibly well-rested.
Hmm?
When did he come here? The vagrant was startled as he turned and saw the surrounding scenery, his peripheral vision catching the fried chicken beside him.
Never mind.
Murray Hawthorne delightedly grabbed it and began eating heartily. This must be a gift from God!

[Successfully evacuated from the Venom Dimension. Acquired supplies: Black weapons storage case]
[Venom Dimension weight increased. Current weight: 6%]
"..."
A 1% weight increase. How is this calculated? Could it be a guaranteed minimum?
On the third floor of the villa, Lin Fang gazed at the weapons storage case in the Black Watch's warehouse, pondering. Similar to the CraigVault server, this weapons case had transformed into an icon resembling a game card.
More importantly, it was only worth one plunder point. Even with mental preparation, Lin Fang was rendered speechless by this absurdly low price, so he didn't sell it and kept it instead.
What exactly is this Black Star? Recalling its transactions that often started at 1000 plunder points, Lin Fang had no doubt that if he didn't use the warehouse and had the Black Star directly materialize this weapons case, it would definitely start at 1000 plunder points.
Lin Fang wanted to protest. This was a completely unfair seller's market. He demanded fairness and justice!
After venting his frustration, Lin Fang haphazardly ate something to fill his rumbling stomach and lay back on the bed. With too few plunder points, it was time to snatch something big.
He was prepared to become a major spacetime bandit.

The stench emanating from the toilet nearly made Lin Fang vomit. Looking at the vagrant's body, which had become filthy and disheveled after just two hours, he even considered suicide to refresh the respawn point.
News that was neither good nor bad—both of his morning conjectures were correct.
One: After he evacuated, the original owner's consciousness returned.
Two: If the body his consciousness inhabited didn't die, re-entering would only place him back into the same body.
After pulling up his pants,
Lin Fang walked outside the toilet to survey the terrain. He found he was still in the same park. Arriving at the bench in the corner, the vagrant rummaged through the nearby grass and pulled out several paper bills.
They were the $300 he had hidden.
Next, Lin Fang bought a set of brown casual clothes from a store, followed by a haircut, shave, and shower.
Half an hour later,
Lin Fang looked at his completely new appearance in the mirror and nodded in satisfaction. Aside from some thinning hair after the cut, his features were rather handsome.
Waving at his reflection, Lin Fang revealed a smile of ambiguous meaning:
"Hello there, Murray."
...
Arriving at a somewhat shabby internet cafe, Lin Fang spent $4 for two hours of computer time. In the information age, there was no faster method to gather information than using the internet.
"USS Tarawa, Essex-class, approximate value $600 million."
"USS Shangri-La, Essex-class, approximate value $650 million."
"USS Saratoga, Forrestal-class, approximate value $1.6 billion."
Lin Fang silently recited the information he had queried. These aircraft carriers were once maritime behemoths that roamed the distant oceans. These carriers open for public tours were Lin Fang's recent targets for acquisition.
Individual entities, extremely high value, easily accessible—in Lin Fang's eyes, these were just lying there as energy points. It would be a shame not to take them.
But it still wasn't enough.
Lin Fang frowned. He somewhat looked down on these outdated old relics. They weren't even nuclear-powered.
He anticipated that once an aircraft carrier had an incident, the control measures by the authorities in this timeline's America would escalate exponentially. Buying a ticket to board one would become impossible.
Opportunities were few, so if he was going to snatch one, it had to be a big one.
After searching for a few minutes, Lin Fang's eyes lit up upon seeing a piece of news.
On the visitation day, August 26th, the active Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS *Sam Vencil* would be docked in Virginia for tours by visitors and American citizens.
This was an opportunity!
Lin Fang looked at the calendar, a smirk curling his lips. Today was the 23rd, meaning there were two days left.
Make some preparations, then head to Virginia immediately. The middle-aged white man in the brown suit adjusted his collar and left the internet cafe.
