80: Chapter 80 Becoming the New President of This Land

...

After spending 5,000 francs on a ferry to Ruang Island, Lin Fang truly experienced the chaos here. Everyone seemed to want a bite out of him, a Little Lamb with yellow skin and black hair.

"Pig, lend us some money."

On the deck, five people surrounded a black-haired young man. Their clothes were tattered, their teeth yellow, showing no signs that this was a country rich in spices. The tall, thin one spoke, trying to push the young man, but he dodged.

Lin Fang looked at the others on the deck, including the captain who took his money. They were all watching from the side, with no intention of maintaining order.

More critically, Lin Fang couldn't understand what these people were saying, so he couldn't even give them money if he wanted to.

Fortunately, there's a universal international gesture. Lin Fang gave them the middle finger, and surprisingly, they actually understood. They excitedly rushed forward to greet him.

Bang bang bang bang bang—

To the horrified gazes of onlookers, only a few muffled groans were heard. The five men, as soon as they approached the black-haired young man, simultaneously vomited blood and fell to the ground. The speed was so fast it seemed like an illusion.

The tall, thin one's chest was severely caved in; he was clearly not going to survive.

When the wailing stopped, the others on the deck finally realized what had happened, looking in terror at the brutal black-haired young man.

He actually killed someone with one punch.

Some people had already returned to the cabin, seemingly preparing to call the police.

Lin Fang ignored them, just looking at the approaching island and wondering how long he would be in jail, and whether the food here included five meat and one vegetable dishes, and so on.

Ten minutes later,

The ferry traveling between the two islands docked at Muddu Port, the most important port on Ruang Island.

In the vacuum zone formed by the people on the boat, Lin Fang also saw police cars waiting at the port below. Hmm... although dilapidated, they were indeed police cars. Several police officers in khaki uniforms were walking towards the ferry.

Just then,

Two armed SUVs roared up, directly blocking the police. Several figures got out, and after saying something, the police simply drove away.

The silver Delta emblem on the SUVs was particularly striking.

"Great, it's our Delta Company! You're dead!" The four men, originally spitting blood, excitedly opened their bloody mouths upon seeing the newcomers. They scrambled down from the boat and rushed to complain about the young man's evil deeds to the three men standing straight.

They were so fast Lin Fang couldn't stop them.

"Boss, Duke is at your service."

Duke, wearing a brown combat uniform, respectfully addressed the young man in front of him. The other two Clones did the same. Lin Fang remembered naming them Ducati and Durant, a trio of brothers who returned home to start a business.

"Who are they?" Lin Fang asked, looking at the four corpses on the ground.

Duke's expression remained unchanged: "Temporary peripheral workers for the company's development."

...

The SUVs drove away, leaving behind four corpses. The bustling port was now silent. The burly captain on the ferry was trembling, thinking, this company even kills its own people!

Were those three the legendary Iron Triangle? Who was that young man to this company?

—

In the car, Duke reported to Lin Fang on the current development of Delta. With money, military force, and strong information support, in just two months, this military company had established a foothold on the island, becoming a recognized partner of the Ruang Island Autonomous Government.

Duke, the "local," was even good friends with the President of Ruang Island.

Excluding temporary workers, Delta now had over 100 official members, and its affiliated industries included several plantations and factories.

Hearing this, Lin Fang was a bit surprised. At this rate of development, Delta might completely control Ruang Island in less than half a year.

But a steel torrent would still be more convenient.

Half an hour later, the car arrived at Delta Company's stronghold on the island, a heavily guarded base surrounded by high walls, equipped with cameras and barbed wire. Armed guards stood at the entrance.

The somewhat relaxed guards immediately became alert when they saw the two cars approaching, performing a salute with their right hand's five fingers together, palm down, resting on their left shoulder.

This was Delta Company's "Delta Oath," symbolizing invincibility and sacrifice.

Its designer, Duke, explained it this way: "Delta is a blade serving the Boss; it needs a belief."

Hearing this, Lin Fang pinched Duke's cheek, who was driving. Upon noticing, Duke's eyes showed confusion, but he immediately tilted his face closer.

"Boss, pinch here, it's softer here."

Lin Fang: ...

"Xiao Hei, are you sure you didn't add anything?" Lin Fang couldn't help but ask.

[Boss, the Hades Chip controlling them has not changed.]

Xiao Hei was also a bit puzzled.

—

Inside the base,

A middle-aged man, about 40 years old, with typical Magaroonian features, walked over and said ingratiatingly to Duke:

"Mr. Stern, welcome back."

Duke responded expressionlessly, then introduced the middle-aged man to Lin Fang: Amir Ben Hassan, currently the Human Resources and Administrative Director of Delta Company.

Lin Fang, meanwhile, was the newly appointed weapons expert. After arriving at Molo, Lin Fang's appearance had always been that of an ordinary Asian. He wore a human skin mask developed by Umbrella.

Amir hastily nodded in greeting to the young man in front of him, but deep astonishment surged in his heart. Who was this person, and why did he see piety and reverence on the executive's face?

In his impression, such an expression could not appear on the company's chief executive's face. From the day he met him, the executive would only ruthlessly eliminate opponents, and even when facing the President of Ruang Island, he would only give a fake smile.

But now... Amir's inner shock grew deeper.

During dinner,

To welcome the weapons expert, the Delta base's internal cafeteria even slaughtered more than a dozen of their sheep. The atmosphere among the employees was lively, their faces fierce, but no one dared to disturb the few people sitting at the front.

Amir sat opposite the company's weapons expert, feeling extremely uneasy, because he noticed that the weapons expert was always staring at him with a strange gaze, as if staring at prey.

And when everyone had left, leaving only him, Amir's unease instantly reached its peak. He could only look at the company's three senior executives for help.

But to the middle-aged man's horror, his three senior executives had identical expressions, looking at him as if he were the lamb on their plates.

Just as Amir was about to be scared senseless, the company's Chief Executive Officer Duke finally spoke.

"Amir, you have a mission: become the new president of this land."
