129: A group sweeps Foot Basin Street
Li Qinghe parked his car in a nearby parking space, then got out and walked with the three older men into Jiaopen Street.
Jiaopen Street in Hanoi is just one street in front of the Japan Embassy in Vietnam.
Hanoi's Jiaopen Street was not quite the same as the Saigon Jiaopen Street Li Qinghe had seen online; it wasn't as large as Saigon's, but it still had an exotic charm.
It was made up of Vietnamese residences and shops decorated in a Japanese style, with Japanese character shop signs and price tags everywhere on the street.
The street was lined with Japanese-style izakayas, restaurants, bars, interspersed with KTVs and massage parlors.
The Misses on this street were relatively more reserved compared to Saigon; they didn't crowd the street in groups but stood in twos and threes by the roadside, warmly greeting potential customers in Japanese.
After all, to make a living on Jiaopen Street, Vietnamese girls who couldn't speak Japanese wouldn't do very well.
As soon as Li Qinghe and his four companions entered Jiaopen Street, they immediately caught the attention of the Misses soliciting customers on the street.
Such a small group of men, gathered together, clearly looked like they were here for entertainment and fun.
Along the way, the charming ladies, like orioles and swallows, all tried hard to pull this group of four into their establishments to spend money.
Li Qinghe and Da Hei, being tall and well-built, received significant attention from many Misses, but ultimately, more Misses tried to pull Li Qinghe.
Pimps love money, and girls love good looks; this has been the rule in China since ancient times, and Vietnam is no exception.
Although the Misses had difficult lives, they still longed for romantic love.
And the tall and robust Li Qinghe happened to perfectly fit their aesthetic preferences.
Along the way, during the pulling and tugging, the Misses generously offered Li Qinghe many benefits.
Unfortunately, Li Qinghe and his group were here with a purpose today.
So their destination was very clear: a KTV located in the middle section of Jiaopen Street.
The two Misses soliciting customers at the entrance of this KTV, squeezed among a group of Misses from izakayas, were originally at a disadvantage.
Out of the four people, only Li Qinghe could speak Vietnamese, so the important task of external communication fell entirely to him.
But upon learning that Li Qinghe and his group were coming to their establishment, they immediately acted like victorious generals, tucking Li Qinghe's arms into their unfathomable peaks, one on each side.
Lao Guang, Lao Lian, and the others exchanged helpless glances; this was an outcome they had all anticipated before leaving.
Fortunately, they had already prepared themselves mentally and were not too disappointed.
This KTV had been renovated and redesigned by combining two residential buildings, making its interior space considerably more spacious than others.
Since he had promised to treat everyone, Li Qinghe went to the front desk first to choose the drink package for the evening after entering the store.
After looking around, Li Qinghe chose a Western liquor package, because he really couldn't get used to drinking sake, that strange stuff.
The package cost 9 million vietnamese dong, which is nearly 2,500 dragon country currency.
The package included one bottle of Western liquor, 36 bottles of imported beer, and a custom fruit platter.
Li Qinghe ordered two packages; since they were out to have fun, they should have a good time. Being stingy was worse than not going out at all.
Next, the most important thing, of course, was choosing the girls; entertainment venues have always been at the forefront of technology.
So, you could directly select what you wanted on a tablet, complete with photos and detailed body measurements.
The price wasn't cheap, 400,000 vietnamese dong per hour, roughly 110 dragon country currency, with a minimum booking of two hours.
From the tablet, the Misses' looks were quite impressive, though he didn't know what they would be like in person, but looking at some of the Misses passing by, their looks were all up to par.
"Lao Guang, Lao Lian, Da Hei, which ones do you like? Choose for yourselves."
Li Qinghe handed the tablet to the three older brothers.
Lao Guang rubbed his hands awkwardly: "Qinghe, you go first."
Lao Lian and Da Hei on the side also chimed in.
It was about to become a traditional Dragon Country People scene of extreme politeness and refusal.
Li Qinghe grinned: "Since you're all so polite, I won't be. I'll go with my own aesthetic."
He directly tapped on several girls on the tablet.
"Qinghe, Qinghe, isn't that one too many?"
Even Lao Lian, the veteran, was a bit embarrassed. After all, Li Qinghe was treating tonight, and this young brother was very generous, paying for dinner and KTV, and being lavish with the atmosphere team.
"We're out to have fun, to be happy. Whether you can take them out depends on your own skills," Li Qinghe reminded the older brothers with a smile.
The Misses here don't go out for the night, of course. If you really hit it off, going out for a late-night snack after work depends on your performance.
Li Qinghe first paid for the package and the two-hour fee for several Misses; any additional time would be calculated later.
The Miss at the front desk looked at the generous Li Qinghe, her eyes almost sparkling with little hearts. Money aside, the key was that he was handsome.
Even more interesting was that this man had two miniature drones flying on his shoulders, looking incredibly cool.
KTV Front Desk
So, she couldn't resist writing a small note and subtly adding it to the change before handing it to Li Qinghe.
Lao Lian and the other veterans were incredibly sharp-eyed; how could the front desk Miss's actions escape their notice?
But in this situation, what could they do? Their looks were given by their parents, and age passed year by year.
Li Qinghe was in the prime of his youth, in his most flourishing years. No matter from which angle they compared, none of them could compete.
Well, who told him he was the God of Wealth? This young brother was generous and righteous. Today, since they were freeloading, they'd just be the background.
A person's mood, good or bad, stems from whether they can figure things out.
Lao Guang and the others exchanged silent glances, then calmly followed a waiter to the private room, feeling a little excited.
This KTV was quite willing to invest; there was even a small elevator specifically installed next to the front desk, capable of taking four people at a time.
Since the private room was on the second floor, Li Qinghe pushed Lao Guang and the others into the elevator, along with a waiter, and chose to walk up the stairs himself.
"Oh my, this brother is too strong; I couldn't resist him at all."
Lao Lian exclaimed, leaning against the elevator car.
"Exactly! When he exerted force, I couldn't even stand steady, and I'm a man over 180 pounds," Da Hei also said, looking disgruntled.
Just now, the three of them had wanted to be polite again, but Li Qinghe had pushed all three into the elevator, completely without resistance.
With even Da Hei, the most robust of the three, saying that, Lao Lian looked at Lao Guang.
"Lao Guang, why are you looking at me? If Da Hei couldn't resist, what kind of say do I, a 1.65-meter, 130-pound man, have?"
As they spoke, they reached the second floor, where Li Qinghe was already standing at the private room door waiting for them.
"I say, my older brothers, let loose and have fun today! I'm going to be filming, so let's have some interesting content."
"But don't worry, I'll cut out anything that shouldn't be included..."
Li Qinghe looked at the three men in front of him, who had already set up selfie sticks, and inwardly chuckled. His group looked like something else, carrying cameras to film while out having fun.
He worried they might scare the Misses once they went inside.
He pushed open the private room door first.
The five Misses he had chosen on the tablet were already sitting in a row on the private room sofa. They looked no different from their tablet pictures; truly an honest business.
