191: Drinking Budweiser makes you feel powerful

This meal was dinner eaten as a late-night snack.

Everyone got really high during this meal, even Li Qinghe felt a bit buzzed.

Although he didn't fall or float, to put it in Dragon Country People slang, he was very 'wei' tonight after drinking Budweiser.

Everyone was present today, but since Nguyen Thi Linh and the others couldn't play mahjong, they had to continue playing poker.

Fueled by alcohol, Li Qinghe taught everyone Dragon Country People poker games: Dou Dizhu, One-on-Three, and Tractor.

They used all sorts of poker variations and played until 4 AM before calling it a night.

Li Qinghe even used ventriloquism and vocal mimicry this time, mixing truth with falsehood, reality with illusion, making it impossible for Nguyen Thi Linh and the others to cooperate well in Dou Dizhu.

Anyone who plays poker frequently knows that in Dou Dizhu, if players can't cooperate well, they will be utterly defeated by the landlord, losing their armor and looking miserable.

Nguyen Thi Linh and the others eventually ran out of energy to continue, collapsing into a deep, profound sleep.

Fortunately, everyone was young, and after sleeping until 8 AM, their energy had largely recovered; because they woke up late, Nguyen Thi Linh and the others didn't have time to make breakfast.

Nguyen Thi Linh and Nguyen Thi Trinh rode their own motorcycles, quickly changed into new clothes, and headed to school; the few kilometers were covered quickly on their bikes.

A Ying came in Li Qinghe's car; her small motorcycle was at school, so Li Qinghe had to drive her.

Luckily, Li Qinghe's driving skills were excellent; he wasn't called the strongest driver on land for nothing.

He weaved through the motorcycle traffic, arriving at the entrance of Hanoi National University of Education in about ten minutes, still a full 10 minutes before A Ying's class started.

"Mwah, Big Brother, you're amazing!"

A Ying gave him a sweet kiss, sincerely praising Li Qinghe's driving skills.

It was undeniable; to be able to speed in Vietnam's traffic environment, calling him a Vietnamese Car God was no exaggeration.

However, Li Qinghe stated that one's thinking should not be too limited; Vietnam was a bit small, so Southeast Asia Car God was barely acceptable.

In an instant, Da Mi Fan, Two Rice Grains, and Da Mi Pao Fan (A Trinh) all went off to school.

Li Qinghe didn't want to look for the temporarily unavailable Noodles (A Xiang), and suddenly felt empty.

When bored, Li Qinghe decided to do something trivial: first, move Nguyen Thi Linh and the others' clothes, then go out and shoot some street videos.

Last time, he impulsively did a live stream, which achieved excellent results, but Li Qinghe didn't want to do another one immediately.

Because the first live stream had a certain novelty, and he also happened to draw vocal mimicry, it gave viewers a unique feeling.

But doing it a second time, while it might still gain some followers, the sense of surprise and shock would be gone.

So, Li Qinghe wanted to prepare more thoroughly for his next live stream.

He first checked the house near Hoan Kiem Lake, and Li Qinghe decisively gave up the idea of helping Nguyen Thi Linh and the others tidy their clothes.

There was no complex reason, simply too many.

Having lived there for several months, unknowingly, the wardrobes in the adjacent rooms were mostly filled with Nguyen Thi Linh and Nguyen Thi Trinh's clothes.

Li Qinghe's own clothes also filled an entire master bedroom wardrobe.

Inside were clothes he bought himself, some bought by Vu Linh Huong, some by Pham Huyen My, but even more were bought by Nguyen Thi Linh and A Ying together.

When they went shopping, it wasn't just to buy cosmetics and clothes for themselves; if they saw suitable clothes, they would buy them for Li Qinghe too.

Li Qinghe casually grabbed a few sets of clothes, putting them in a bag; his requirements were simple: comfortable and refreshing to wear.

Vietnam is warm all year round, with average temperatures in the north ranging from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, basically a tropical monsoon climate.

Therefore, it's very normal for Southeast Asian beauties to dress lightly all year.

Of course, racial constraints also determine whether this beauty is fair-skinned or dark-skinned.

The reason Northern Vietnamese girls conform to Dragon Country People aesthetics is that over thousands of years, Northern Vietnam was part of China for longer than Sichuan and Yunnan provinces.

Most people here are of Dragon Country People descent, though most no longer acknowledge this.

So, from a racial perspective, the people of Northern Vietnam are distinctly different from those in other parts of Southeast Asia.

This is also one of the reasons Vietnam calls itself 'Little China,' but all of this abruptly ended when the French colonized Vietnam.

Today, only modern Vietnamese youth can understand Vietnamese written in Latin script.

As for the older generation of Vietnamese, those who can recognize Dragon Country People characters are extremely rare.

From Nom characters to Latin script, everything has been completely severed from Vietnam's history.

Therefore, Vietnam's history does not belong to the Vietnamese people; this is a very real phenomenon.

Currently, Vietnam has become a paradise for Koreans and Japanese; in the future, perhaps it will belong to the Dragon Country People.

However, for Li Qinghe, he has already enjoyed extreme happiness in Vietnam, being a vested interest, so he cannot comment further on any of this.

One can only say that having a slightly poorer neighbor, but not too poor, is still good for Brother Long.

Vietnam's current development appears to be booming, but it is all built upon the demographic dividend of having a majority of young people under 35.

What will happen in a few years? No one can predict, especially since 60-70% of Vietnam's raw materials for production still have to be imported from China.

This clearly shows Vietnam's ambitious industrial development plan.

Where does its confidence truly lie? And where does its reliance come?

Ultimately, however, Vietnam's current development situation has provided a huge scope for people like Li Qinghe to flourish.

Of course, with Li Qinghe's current financial resources, he could find the same scope for development in any country he chose.

It's just that Li Qinghe currently feels he hasn't had enough fun in Vietnam, so he hasn't thought about developing other Southeast Asian bases.

Going to Saigon in a few days will be Li Qinghe's first step in gradually adapting to other races in Southeast Asia.

And to the south of Saigon are the traditional beauty-producing cities of Can Tho and Ca Mau.

Many Vietnamese beauty queens come from these two places.

For Li Qinghe, the beauty of the world had only just begun to unfold a small corner before his eyes.

He needed more time and a wider scope to savor every piece of land and every custom completely different from China.

However, for now, he would stay in Hanoi for a few more days, waiting for Nguyen Thi Linh and the others, and A Ying, to move in before heading south.

Li Qinghe went downstairs and put all the clothes from his bag into the back seat of the G63.

Nguyen Thi Linh and the others' clothes would wait for them to return before being tidied.

For now, he would go out and have some fun.

He slowly walked from the front door towards Hoan Kiem Lake.

He took out the future camera sub-lens, disguised as a camera gimbal.

Today, he planned to find some people around Hoan Kiem Lake to shoot some material; Li Qinghe had some ideas for using the ventriloquism he had just acquired.

These ideas could be tested in advance to see if they could also be implemented in Saigon.

Li Qinghe walked towards a young woman with a corgi, a smile on his face.
