366: Actually, I kind of like it too.

That day, Li Qinghe took Shen Jiaxuan on a tour around Marina Bay, even strolling to the Merlion Park area.

Lunch was back at the Dragonfly Bay restaurant in the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.

Several exquisite new-style Cantonese dishes delighted Shen Jiaxuan, opening up a new world for her.

Only then did Shen Jiaxuan realize that many so-called Michelin delicacies at hawker centers were far inferior in terms of ingredient selection and quality compared to restaurants hidden in high-rise buildings.

The taste here was in a completely different direction from the common food court fare.

It was hard to say which taste was better, as everyone had different preferences.

But in terms of the dishes' exquisiteness and flavor, Shen Jiaxuan felt this Cantonese restaurant was the best she had ever experienced.

However, the price of several hundred singapore dollars per meal was also quite substantial, not something ordinary people could afford.

And even if they could afford it, many would be reluctant to spend that much.

Time flew by quickly during their time together; they ate, drank, and casually strolled until night fell.

Li Qinghe and Shen Jiaxuan stood on the opposite bank of the Singapore River as the city lights came on, taking a photo of the beautiful night scene.

It featured the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, the ArtScience Museum, and the ferris wheel / observation wheel.

Under the streetlights, two figures leaned against each other, merging with the beautiful painting before them.

Marina Bay View

That night, Li Qinghe took Shen Jiaxuan to stay at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.

Shen Jiaxuan shyly asked Zhou Qin for leave.

Li Qinghe also generously appeared on camera.

Seeing this tall and handsome young man beside her daughter made Zhou Qin feel that the two were perfectly matched.

So, the three of them chatted happily for a while on the video call.

Zhou Qin knew that things were irreversible, and fortunately, she was a relatively open-minded parent.

She simply reminded Li Qinghe to take good care of Shen Jiaxuan and not let her get hurt.

At the same time, she invited Li Qinghe to visit their home when he had time.

Li Qinghe agreed.

Li Qinghe then took Shen Jiaxuan to the rooftop infinity pool for a swim to cool off; under the lights, the infinity pool had a completely different kind of beauty than during the day.

Watching the glittering lights of Singapore from the rooftop gave a sense of transcending the world.

Marina Bay Sands Hotel Rooftop Infinity Pool

Dinner was at the sky restaurant; the taste wasn't particularly amazing, but Shen Jiaxuan experienced this open-air ambiance for the first time.

The two of them happily played on the rooftop until almost midnight before returning to their room.

That night, the recitation of ancient Dragon Country poems echoing above the Marina Bay Sands Hotel was particularly powerful and prolonged.

The next day, around noon, Li Qinghe finally drove Shen Jiaxuan home, leaving the purchased bags and clothes on the back seat.

This time, when they arrived downstairs at Shen Jiaxuan's house, Li Qinghe finally went upstairs because Shen Jiaxuan couldn't carry so many things by herself.

Zhou Qin and Shen Jiayi had gone to work, so Shen Jiaxuan took Li Qinghe on a tour of the house; this girl, now having tasted the forbidden fruit, was incredibly bold.

Seeing that no one was home, her lips began to sparkle.

She pulled Li Qinghe into her boudoir and loudly recited ancient Dragon Country poems several times, not at all worried about neighbors complaining.

She reluctantly saw Li Qinghe off only in the afternoon.

When Zhou Qin returned from work that evening, she found the house strangely clean; upon closer inspection, she realized Shen Jiaxuan had washed her bedsheets.

Although the house had been cleaned, a faint scent still lingered.

Zhou Qin didn't know whether to laugh or cry; her little daughter was incredibly daring.

But when she went into Shen Jiaxuan's room, she found the girl sleeping soundly, hugging her quilt.

Looking at her daughter's sleeping face, Zhou Qin sighed and returned to her own room.

As soon as she entered, she discovered a Chanel bag neatly placed by her pillow.

As a woman, Zhou Qin had some knowledge of these things and knew that this single bag cost tens of thousands of singapore dollars, enough for her to earn a year's salary.

Although Shen Jiaxuan usually had some pocket money, she certainly didn't have the money to buy such an expensive bag.

So, there was no doubt who bought this bag.

Zhou Qin was quite happy that Li Qinghe was willing to buy such an expensive bag for her daughter.

But she felt even more gratified that her daughter gave the bag to her as a token of filial piety; she picked up the bag, intending to put it back in Shen Jiaxuan's wardrobe.

Her daughter's thoughtfulness alone made her very happy.

However, when she opened Shen Jiaxuan's wardrobe, the sight of several Chanel bags lined up and several sets of Chanel clothes hanging there made Zhou Qin pause.

Adding the bag in her hand, Li Qinghe had spent over a hundred thousand singapore dollars on Shen Jiaxuan.

He was indeed a rich young master, very generous with his spending, much more so than those stingy old men who always tried to take advantage.

Zhou Qin saw that Shen Jiaxuan had several other bags, and the one in her hand suddenly felt more appealing.

In a society like Singapore, which lacked human warmth, a little luxury was occasionally needed to maintain appearances.

Since her daughter was so filial, she would reluctantly accept it.

Imagining herself carrying the brand new Chanel bag to the office and being admired by her colleagues, Zhou Qin's lips curved into a happy smile.

In this day and age, who isn't a tasteful beauty?

Zhou Qin happily walked out of Shen Jiaxuan's room with the bag, and just as she was about to return to her own room, a thought struck her, and she knocked on Shen Jiayi's door.

"Mom, what is it? I'm still rushing work."

Shen Jiayi, wearing a nightgown, opened the door.

"Jiayi, did Jiaxuan give you a Chanel bag?"

"Yes, she put it on my bedside table when she came back. I saw Jiaxuan was sleeping soundly so I didn't wake her. I'll give it back to Jiaxuan tomorrow."

Shen Jiayi thought her mother was telling her to return the bag to Shen Jiaxuan, so she volunteered the information.

"No, no, just keep it if Jiaxuan gave it to you. She has several more in her closet."

Zhou Qin smiled.

She really hadn't doted on this little daughter for nothing; she knew to share good things with her mother and sister.

Hmm, her boyfriend was also very handsome.

Handsome, rich, and generous, Zhou Qin didn't mind him 'eating' Shen Jiaxuan at all.

But when she turned to look at Shen Jiayi, her brow furrowed.

"Jiayi, look, Jiaxuan has found such a good boyfriend. Shouldn't you also find a boyfriend? How about that client you mentioned last time, the one with a detached villa in Bukit Timah?"

It would have been better if she hadn't said anything; as soon as she did, Shen Jiayi's eyes almost welled up with tears.

"Mom, that client I mentioned is Jiaxuan's current boyfriend."

Shen Jiayi's answer caught Zhou Qin off guard; she froze for several minutes before reacting.

"The client you mentioned is Jiaxuan's current boyfriend? Is that right?"

Shen Jiayi nodded, feeling wronged.

Zhou Qin slapped her forehead: "I thought both of my daughters could find good partners, and I could relax. Jiayi, don't be sad, find another one slowly."

"But, I also kind of like this client."

Shen Jiayi awkwardly rubbed the floor with her slipper.
