162: The stick that was put up and tortured

Looking at Li Qinghe's confident eyes, the boatman gave a simple and honest smile. He decided to teach this young brother how to behave on a boat.

He had the audacity to challenge a boatman who had been on the water for over a decade to a spiral spin.

As soon as Le Xuan Mai was transferred to another boat, the other boatmen had already noticed what was happening. They were like professional paparazzi, adept at capturing any interesting signals.

Seeing both the boatman and the tourist on the boat pick up paddles, they knew this was a rare scene: a tourist about to compete with a boatman.

They all used broken English to call out to other tourists to pay attention, while they paddled their own boats to the side to watch.

"@ @ ¥ # ¥ @ # ¥ W% ...##"

The Korean who had a conflict with Li Qinghe earlier was sitting in a coconut boat nearby, shouting with clenched fists.

Because the second fleet of boats had arrived while the first group of tourists was playing the 'water top,' and the more people watching this kind of activity, the more fun it was.

So the second fleet also joined the crowd of onlookers.

The boatman of the Korean was quite proactive, directly squeezing his coconut boat to the front row. As soon as the Korean saw Qinghe, his eyes immediately turned red.

Li Qinghe turned his head and saw that it was that little 'xiba.' An idea flashed through his mind.

"Big brother, let me play a round with that Korean first, and then I'll challenge you..."

Li Qinghe promised the boatman that, win or lose, he would give him 500,000 vietnamese dong. The boatman happily agreed.

Li Qinghe waved his paddle, pointing at the Korean and shouting in English, "You, from that Korean country, aren't you unconvinced? Get on the boat and let's compete."

Most Koreans traveling can understand English. Hearing Li Qinghe's shout, the Koreans who originally wanted to step forward to help shouted back.

"Minwoo, go up there and show him what's what..."

"You now represent the face of the great, powerful Korean nation. Our territory once spread across Northeast Asia; do not forget the glory of our ancestors..."

"You must display the might of the great Korean Republic..."

"Don't forget the spirit of the White Tiger Corps..."

"..."

The Korean, cornered by his compatriots invoking national righteousness, had no way out. He yelled, "Yah~~ Ashiba!"

"Alright, I accept! A man from my great Korean Republic will definitely not lose to you."

The Korean stood up from the coconut boat, waving his fists to motivate himself.

"Minwoo Oppa, fighting!" The Korean's girlfriend also waved her fists, cheering him on.

"Minwoo, fighting!" A circle of Koreans around him cheered him on. They seemed quite united.

Li Qinghe looked at the indignant Koreans around him, wondering if he should throw a few more into the water later.

He also wondered if, after this Korean was thrown out, the others would still dare to come up. After all, their specialty was running away, a reality that even the ancestors of the Dragon Kingdom, with their 'iron feet,' had to admit.

The Korean's boatman paddled the coconut boat over, letting the Korean board the opposite boat and taking the opposite boatman onto his own boat.

Li Qinghe and the Korean stood face to face, both holding paddles.

A boatman shouted in broken English, "1, 2, 3, start!"

Li Qinghe deliberately tested the Korean's balance, shaking the coconut boat a few times with his feet. The Korean spread his legs, wobbled, and actually managed to stay standing.

A round of cheers erupted, all for the Korean.

"Brother He, fighting!" Le Xuan Mai shouted loudly in Vietnamese.

Other boatmen, hearing Le Xuan Mai's Vietnamese shouts, thought Li Qinghe was Vietnamese and also cheered him on loudly.

The situation on the field turned into a confrontation, with half Koreans and half Vietnamese cheering each other on in their own languages.

It felt a bit like a Korean-Vietnamese showdown.

Several Westerners in the fleet watched the excitement with thrilled expressions, occasionally shouting cheers.

The atmosphere on this stretch of water was lively and bustling.

A boatman turned on the Bluetooth speaker in his boat, and a powerful "Gangnam Style" started playing.

Against the backdrop of the dynamic music, Li Qinghe alternately stomped the coconut boat left and right, making it sway. The Korean also tried to forcefully seize control of the rhythm.

However, he wasn't as heavy as Li Qinghe, and his strength was even less, so he couldn't even get close.

Seeing that the Korean opposite him was already losing balance, Li Qinghe suddenly turned, extended his paddle, and powerfully pushed the water. The coconut boat began to spin wildly up and down.

Amidst the 'Aigoo' sounds of regret from the surrounding Koreans, the Korean was flung directly from the coconut boat and plunged headfirst into the water.

Fortunately, he was wearing a life jacket, and he floated up shortly after, drawing loud laughter from the crowd.

Even his Korean compatriots, seeing his once stylish haircut plastered to his scalp like a drowned rat, couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Even his girlfriend couldn't hold back a 'giggle' and laughed. Only after laughing did she realize it was inappropriate, quickly reining in her smile, her small face flushing red from holding it in.

The Korean's boatman quickly sent Li Qinghe's boatman over and, while he was at it, pulled the Korean out of the water.

"Aish~ @ ¥ # @"

The Korean grumbled another series of unwilling curses, clinging to the side of the boat, spitting out a lot of water.

Li Qinghe smiled at the boatman who had just boarded, "Big brother, shall we go again?"

For those 500,000 vietnamese dong, the boatman readily agreed, "Let's go!"

Seeing Li Qinghe finish off the Korean and then challenge the boatman, the surrounding tourists cheered wildly.

The surrounding Koreans shouted even louder. They didn't dare to step forward themselves, but they deeply hoped the boatman would teach Li Qinghe a lesson.

The other boatmen, however, sat leisurely in their boats, watching the show, slowly paddling to keep their boats from being pushed away by the waves.

For them, the competition between Li Qinghe and the boatman was an internal struggle. Some boatmen even hoped Li Qinghe would win so they could mock their colleague.

Li Qinghe took off his shirt, revealing his well-defined muscles, which drew gasps of admiration from the surrounding tourists. His wild posture, wielding the paddle, made many female tourists subtly clench their legs.

The "Gangnam Style" music continued to loop frantically.

The boat, surrounded by numerous coconut boats, was also spinning wildly.

Li Qinghe's extraordinary balance greatly surprised the boatman. To avoid defeat, he exerted all his strength.

Amidst the surrounding clamor, the two men paddled the coconut boat, making it spin rapidly like a water top.

They became blurs; tourists taking photos couldn't capture clear images, only blurry streaks on their phones and cameras.

Those filming videos only captured a swirling, bumpy blur.

Li Qinghe gained the upper hand on the boat within a few seconds; the frantic spinning had no effect on him.

However, the boatman, who relied on this for a living, managed to cling firmly to the edge of the coconut boat during the rapid spinning and bumping, even though he could no longer actively control it, preventing himself from being thrown off.

Seeing this situation, Li Qinghe estimated that he would only be able to throw the boatman off by exhausting his stamina.

He was just doing it for fun, and the boatman wasn't like the annoying Korean, so he didn't feel the need to determine a winner.

So he slowly brought the coconut boat to a stop.

Thus, in the eyes of the tourists, Li Qinghe and the boatman had fought to a draw, and everyone gave them enthusiastic applause.

Once the coconut boat stabilized, Li Qinghe kindly extended his hand and shook the boatman's hand.

The boatman knew the other party had held back, and he forced a smile, reaching out to shake Li Qinghe's hand.

Unexpectedly, when he let go, he found a piece of paper in his hand. Looking down, it was a 500,000 vietnamese dong banknote.

His forced smile turned into a happy one.

This young man kept his word; he was a good person.

The coconut boat's spiral spin had been experienced, and Le Xuan Mai returned to Li Qinghe's side. The two fleets of boats merged into one and began to return.

Coincidentally, the Korean's coconut boat was positioned in front of Li Qinghe's boat, and occasional spins would cause the Koreans and Li Qinghe to make eye contact.

While the Korean turned his face away, clearly still unconvinced, his girlfriend's gaze did not avoid Li Qinghe. Each time their eyes met, a certain sparkle would light up in her eyes.
