33: Follow Aying to class

"A Ying, Brother-in-law."

The glasses girl politely greeted A Ying.

"A Mei, A Xiong, Brother-in-law." A Ying also responded with a smile.

"Is this your boyfriend?" Two youths with obvious dark circles scrutinized Li Qinghe, who was a good half-head taller than them, a hint of jealousy flashing in their eyes.

"This is my boyfriend, Brother He." A Ying held up the large hand intertwined with her own.

"Brother He, these are A Mei and A Xiong from my college."

"Brother-in-law to you both." Li Qinghe nodded at the two.

"Brother-in-law, Brother He."

Li Qinghe could see the light in the glasses girl's eyes; she seemed to want to say something but couldn't in front of A Ying and her boyfriend.

After greeting A Ying's two classmates, Li Qinghe and A Ying held hands and went downstairs.

Behind them, they heard the two discussing: "A Ying actually found such a tall and strong boyfriend, no wonder she was screaming so loudly last night."

A Ying's face flushed, but she proudly lifted her chin and followed Li Qinghe downstairs; her revenge plan had been executed perfectly.

Since most residents here were students of Hanoi National University of Education, their Going out times were roughly the same.

When they reached the staircase on the next floor down, they encountered several other student couples with noticeable dark circles.

It seemed that Li Qinghe's intense 'study session' with A Ying last night, both in process and duration, had severely impacted these people's sleep.

Li Qinghe could clearly feel the jealousy and anger in the men's eyes, and the envy and longing in the women's eyes.

A Ying, beaming with joy, smiled and greeted her acquaintances, her beautiful, well-nourished face and sexy figure firmly captivating the attention of those male classmates.

However, under Li Qinghe's intimidating gaze, most of them guiltily looked away.

Led by A Ying, the two sat down in a simple Rice Noodles shop. This shop, like many in Vietnam, had a large glass display cabinet at the entrance, with the noodle-blanching station next to it.

It was breakfast time, and the Rice Noodles shop was packed with customers both inside and out.

Not only students from Hanoi National University of Education but also many nearby residents frequented it, making it an extremely popular establishment.

A Ying busied herself finding a seat for Li Qinghe and ordering. Because the shop was so crowded, the two sat at a table by the entrance.

The specialty of this noodle shop was dry noodles, served in a small bamboo basket lined with banana leaves. On the leaves were blanched dry noodles, pork, meat strips, and dipping sauce, costing 30,000 dong per serving – cheap and substantial.

A Ying also held a small bamboo basket and ate heartily beside him. Perhaps her appetite was excellent because Li Qinghe was by her side, or perhaps she had worked too hard yesterday and now urgently needed food to replenish her energy.

Li Qinghe always ate quickly as well. The two finished their breakfast like a whirlwind and were about to get up and leave when they heard someone calling A Ying.

They turned their heads and saw two girls emerging from the shop, wearing denim shorts of different colors. They weren't very tall and, though not particularly beautiful, both had slender figures.

A Ying happily went to meet them: "Xiao Yu, Xiao Cao, you're eating breakfast here too! Have you finished eating?"

After they confirmed they had finished breakfast, A Ying leaned in and whispered a few words to them.

The two girls nodded while looking at Li Qinghe beside them.

The three whispered for a while and then walked out together.

"Brother, let's go." A Ying went and took Li Qinghe's hand, following the two girls.

"Brother-in-law." The two girls politely nodded and greeted Li Qinghe, their eyes filled with a hint of curiosity.

"Brother-in-law."

After Li Qinghe greeted the two girls, A Ying introduced them to him: "Brother, Xiao Yu and Xiao Cao are both my classmates. You'll come with the three of us to the classroom in a bit."

As a university directly under Vietnam's Ministry of Education, Hanoi National University of Education occupies a considerable area, with over a dozen tall buildings of varying sizes situated in different locations across the campus.

Compared to universities that don't even have dormitories, Normal University also has a very large plaza.

Upon entering the school's main gate, entry and exit at Normal University were very casual, unlike domestic universities that would question strangers; it was simply free to come and go.

A Ying and her friends' teaching building was behind the faculty office building, which was located past the main entrance.

It was nearing class time, and a bustling stream of students flowed into the teaching building from all directions, giving it a feeling somewhat similar to high school classes back home.

Normal University in Vietnam is similar to Normal University in China, with a majority of female students.

They moved slowly with A Ying and her friends through the crowd for a long time.

Li Qinghe noticed that perhaps due to the large proportion of females, there were many pretty girls in the crowd, several of whom were no less attractive than A Ying.

Furthermore, their average height was similar to that of university students in China. This might also be like China, where the post-2000 generation has sufficient nutrition, and their heights have caught up.

However, although their heights seemed similar to those in China, these were all girls. Compared to Li Qinghe, their height was not impressive.

Among the male students in the crowd, he truly hadn't seen anyone with Li Qinghe's height and build.

Therefore, his presence attracted quite a few girls' attention.

A Ying had originally sought out Xiao Yu and Xiao Cao, hoping that with the two of them, they could help conceal Li Qinghe's presence.

However, this striking man was exposed very quickly in the crowd.

A man with such assets truly cannot be hidden.

Facing numerous external threats, A Ying held Li Qinghe's hand tightly even in the crowd, refusing to let go.

Xiao Yu and Xiao Cao were in front of them, acting as pioneers to clear the way.

The four of them arrived at their classroom, which was on the sixth floor.

The classroom was quite large, similar to traditional classrooms in Long Country, with a podium and a blackboard at the front. Above it, there was a retractable screen, clearly used for projecting slides and videos during class.

Overall, the facilities and equipment were already very modern.

At the classroom door, A Ying quietly thanked Xiao Yu and Xiao Cao, then led Li Qinghe to sit in the back row of the classroom.

She took out the books for today's class from her backpack and placed them on the desk. The first class was at 8:30 today.

Li Qinghe's appearance caused a stir among the female students in A Ying's class.

Especially after Xiao Yu and Xiao Cao explained things to A Ying, many girls frequently turned their heads to look at Li Qinghe.

It felt like too many wolves and too little meat, with every piece of fatty meat coveted by others.

Li Qinghe had observed that the few male students in A Ying's class, perhaps five or six, were not particularly attractive.

One very peculiar thing about Vietnam is that, overall, the average aesthetic level between men and women differs greatly, yet the female offspring born tend to be very attractive.

Therefore, Li Qinghe's appearance immediately crushed the confidence of those few male students.

Just like in China, in universities with a high proportion of female students, such as Normal University and foreign language universities.

As long as a man isn't truly unappealing to look at, and isn't so poor that he has to choose the cheapest meals, he generally has no problem finding a girlfriend.

A man with Li Qinghe's height and looks could practically sit there and choose his consorts.

It wasn't even class time yet, and many girls had already found various excuses to go to the back of the classroom. When they left, they often had to pass by Li Qinghe, bringing wafts of fragrance.

It seemed that A Ying finding a boyfriend had piqued the curiosity of most people; everyone wanted a close-up look at A Ying's taste.
