188: Take the girls to take the driver's license test
Qinghe and A Ying finished class and drove directly to another house.
This location is situated between Hanoi University and Hanoi National University of Education, overall slightly closer to Hanoi National University of Education.
Within a 2-kilometer radius, there's a Cau Giay Park and a small lake, but the park's environment isn't very good, unlike Hoan Kiem Lake and West Lake, which receive more attention.
So, the lake in Cau Giay Park is full of trash.
The house is on Van Dai Street and has an advantage over the Hoan Kiem Lake house: a small courtyard of forty to fifty square meters that can park two cars side by side.
The kitchen, dining room, and living room of this house are all on the first floor, so the second floor and above are the living quarters.
Likewise, all kinds of daily necessities are complete, making it ready for immediate move-in.
Qinghe sent messages to Nguyen Thi Linh and Nguyen Thi Trinh, asking them to come here after class.
Nguyen Thi Linh and Nguyen Thi Trinh were very fast; shortly after Qinghe and A Ying got out of the car, two small motorbikes had already arrived.
Qinghe had brought everyone to see this house before, so Nguyen Thi Linh and her friends easily found the location.
"Brother, what's the rush?"
Nguyen Thi Linh was slightly out of breath; after receiving Qinghe's message, she and Nguyen Thi Trinh jogged to the school's bike shed, got on their motorbikes, and came over.
A Ying quickly handed bottled water to her and Nguyen Thi Trinh.
On the way from Hanoi National University of Education, Qinghe had picked up several cases of bottled water from a supermarket, leaving one case in the car and moving the others into the house for daily consumption.
"A Ling, I'm planning to enroll you all in driving lessons together, forming a small class with one coach specifically for you."
Qinghe put his arm around Nguyen Thi Linh's slender waist and wiped away the beads of sweat from her nose.
"If Brother thinks we need to learn, then we'll learn."
Nguyen Thi Linh had no objections whatsoever; she felt that since Qinghe had made the decision, she should just obey, as listening to her man had no downsides.
Nguyen Thi Trinh had even fewer objections; she simply followed Nguyen Thi Linh's lead.
"A Ling, I want you all to live here with A Ying during your driving lessons. This way, you'll have company, and this place is closer to Hanoi University, so you won't have to ride so far to school."
"A Ying is moving in too? Then it'll be even livelier!"
Nguyen Thi Linh already had a very good relationship with A Ying; under A Ying's guidance, she had even learned how to do makeup and dress herself.
So, she was quite happy about living with A Ying, as it would mean an extra person for playing cards.
Nguyen Thi Trinh also smiled and nodded; A Ying had taught her a lot about makeup and dressing up too.
"We'll go to the driving school to register first, and then we'll bring over some of your clothes and books."
Seeing that everyone had reached a consensus, Qinghe clapped his hands and led his 'army of women' to the car.
When he bought the Wrangler, one consideration was that when the women wore more revealing clothes, it would be less likely for them to be exposed in the car.
Another consideration was for situations with multiple people traveling together, avoiding the need for a convoy of motorcycles.
Situations like today were perfect for it.
Nguyen Thi Linh sat in the passenger seat, while Chau Pham Thuy Anh and Nguyen Thi Trinh sat in the back.
The driving school was one Qinghe had found online with a good reputation, located at the other end of Van Dai Street.
Qinghe chose this place because the driving school's training ground was right there; having such a large training ground in the city center also implicitly demonstrated the school's strength.
The driving school's Person in charge gave the highest respect to customers who arrived in a Mercedes-Benz.
Luxury cars and beautiful women are symbols of a successful career.
Respecting the clothes before respecting the person, this principle is universal across the world.
The driving school's Person in charge introduced their training programs and content to Qinghe and his companions with the best attitude.
Vietnam's car licenses are divided into B1 automatic, B1, and B2.
Slightly different from the dragon country currency license, the Vietnamese license has a slightly broader scope of driving.
Both B1 automatic and B1 are for passenger vehicles with 9 seats or less (excluding the driver's seat), or trucks under 3500 kg, or tractors with a towing capacity under 3500 kg.
So, Nguyen Thi Linh and her friends only needed to obtain a B1 license.
The driving school's Person in charge explained that their curriculum included 8 theory lessons, 4 simulation lessons, and 810 kilometers of road lessons, including 4 hours of night driving.
The tuition fee ranged from 15 to 20 million vietnamese dong, which is about 4,000 to 5,000 dragon country currency.
There was also a one-on-one small class for 25 million vietnamese dong, nearly 7,000 dragon country currency.
After discussions with the driving school's Person in charge, Qinghe specifically enrolled Nguyen Thi Linh and her friends in a one-on-three small class led by a female instructor.
The study schedule would be arranged by Nguyen Thi Linh and her friends according to their free time, with one day's notice to the instructor, and the fee was 25 million vietnamese dong per person.
Both parties were very satisfied with the outcome.
Leaving the driving school, Qinghe planned to take them out to eat.
"Brother, didn't you say we should 'warm the pot' when moving into a new house? Let's make dinner at home; it'll be quick with the three of us cooking together."
Nguyen Thi Linh smiled, holding Qinghe's hand and offering the suggestion.
"That's right, Brother, let's cook at home ourselves." A Ying and A Trinh both collectively agreed.
Qinghe turned to look at them: "I originally planned for you to relax, but you have a point about cooking at home. So, let's find out where the nearest wet market is."
After they discussed it, Qinghe drove around the area and asked some locals before learning that there was no wet market nearby. For groceries, there was an AEON Mall, which had everything.
Qinghe then drove the car to the mall's parking lot. Like most large malls and supermarkets in Vietnam, the motorcycle parking lot here was even larger than the car parking lot.
After all, in Vietnam, those with four-wheeled vehicles are usually families with very good economic conditions; most others still choose motorcycles for transportation.
AEON Mall, a Japan brand, is considered a mid-to-high-end shopping mall in Vietnam.
The mall was bustling with people, lively and vibrant. Many families brought their children to play here, as the mall offered free air conditioning and an overall environment suitable for kids.
As soon as they entered the mall, Nguyen Thi Linh and her friends' eyes lit up; these large comprehensive malls were places they loved to browse.
Vietnamese AEON Malls are positioned similarly to Wanda Malls in China, targeting Vietnam's middle class.
Half of the first floor's area was dedicated to imported brands, with well-known domestic sports brands Anta and Li-Ning competing alongside Nike and Adidas here.
The other half of the area was the fresh food supermarket.
Above the first floor were women's, men's, and children's clothing sections, along with entertainment facilities, and the fifth floor housed the dining area.
"Brother, it's so lively here!"
Nguyen Thi Trinh was the last to leave her hometown and had visited fewer malls. Besides school, she was usually at home, only occasionally going to the malls in Hoan Kiem District with Nguyen Thi Linh.
She actually loved browsing such lively malls, as it made her truly feel that she had escaped the countryside and was living in a big city.
"A Ling, A Ying, A Trinh, are you hungry? If not, we don't need to rush to buy groceries; let's browse the mall first."
Qinghe noticed that Nguyen Thi Trinh really enjoyed shopping, and thinking there was no urgent matter, he suggested they browse the mall in his name.
"Okay!" All three nodded in agreement, but Nguyen Thi Trinh's eyes suddenly lit up.
