47: Complete admission procedures

Teacher Su was quite good; he took the money and handled things beautifully. Otherwise, it would have taken at least ten days to half a month of back and forth, with either a missing certificate or incomplete procedures.

He called a bespectacled girl on his phone: "Student Nguyen Thi Linh, this is the class monitor of your Tourism Management class, Student Nguyen Hue Phuong."

"Student Nguyen Hue Phuong, Student Nguyen Thi Linh is reporting to school late due to some special reasons. Please take her to the finance office to pay her fees and help her get familiar with the school's environment," Teacher Su meticulously arranged.

"Student Nguyen Thi Linh, if you encounter any problems during the registration process, you can call me at this number."

Teacher Su gave Nguyen Thi Linh his phone number and the phone number of Nguyen Thi Linh's class teacher.

After Li Qinghe and Nguyen Thi Linh said goodbye and left the office with Nguyen Hue Phuong, Teacher Su looked at the office door, his hands delving into the paper bag, caressing the enticing banknotes, then quickly began to count them.

He was well aware of the identity of the man beside Nguyen Thi Linh; it was nothing more than a poor female student facing dropping out, who had found a man outside to pay her tuition.

The price paid was to accompany this man for a period of time, or several men for a period of time.

It was also possible that she would marry the man who paid her tuition after graduation.

He had seen many such cases.

However, judging by the generosity of Li Qinghe's spending and his external conditions.

Teacher Su believed that Nguyen Thi Linh was not at a disadvantage at all. This man was rich, handsome, and willing to spend money on a woman. Such good fortune wasn't something everyone could encounter.

What Teacher Su encountered most often was that after the men found by those female students were no longer willing to pay their tuition, they naturally flowed into Jiaopen Street and massage parlors.

A few days ago, he even met a dropout from Hanoi University at a massage parlor and gave her a friendly sponsorship of 500,000 vietnamese dong.

Thinking of this, the banknotes in his hand had just been counted: 60 bills, a full 30 million vietnamese dong, which was three months of his salary.

He could sponsor that former female student 60 times.

Thinking of this, he pulled out two banknotes, tucked the rest into a thick book, and then locked the book in the bottom drawer.

Seeing that he had only one hour left before getting off work, a warmth spread through his lower abdomen.

If there were such generous students coming every day, that would be great.

After following Nguyen Hue Phuong downstairs, Li Qinghe turned to size up Nguyen Thi Linh's future class monitor.

She was an ordinary girl wearing a white T-shirt, denim shorts, black-rimmed glasses, and had fair skin.

Nguyen Hue Phuong

From her appearance, she seemed to be a good student who loved to study.

"Brother-in-law, Student Nguyen Hue Phuong, we will trouble you to take good care of our A Ling in the future."

Li Qinghe gently entrusted Nguyen Thi Linh to Nguyen Hue Phuong.

Nguyen Hue Phuong, in turn, carefully scrutinized Li Qinghe from head to toe.

"Are you Student Nguyen Thi Linh's boyfriend?"

"Yes," Li Qinghe nodded.

"I really envy you, Student Nguyen Thi Linh," Nguyen Hue Phuong expressed her envy directly in front of Nguyen Thi Linh.

"Thank you," Nguyen Thi Linh was a little shy, encountering such a way of praising someone for the first time.

Nguyen Hue Phuong looked very quiet, but was actually very talkative, which was perhaps one of the important reasons she could be a class monitor.

She led Nguyen Thi Linh and Li Qinghe towards the finance office, while introducing the functions of various buildings in the school.

The entire area of Hanoi University was not large, similar to a larger high school campus in China, with a 400-meter track enclosing a football field.

In front of the school's main comprehensive building, there was an open space the size of two football fields, which was the largest flat area in the entire school.

The finance office was on the first floor of the main comprehensive building. Nguyen Hue Phuong carefully communicated the relevant details with the financial staff, and Nguyen Thi Linh submitted her admission letter and relevant documents.

She needed to pay 20 million for a year's tuition and 5 million for textbook fees, with the remaining over 1 million for insurance and other miscellaneous fees.

Adding it all up, it was over 26 million vietnamese dong, which converted to over 7,100 dragon country currency. According to Nguyen Hue Phuong, if it were an international student, the tuition would be at least double.

This was quite good, offering discounts to domestic students and charging high tuition fees to foreigners, just like the United States, using international students' tuition to cover some of the school's expenses.

Originally, there was an annual dormitory fee of 3 million for 8- or 10-person rooms, but Li Qinghe was unwilling to let Nguyen Thi Linh suffer this hardship.

Besides, Hanoi University was less than 10 kilometers from Hoan Kiem Lake, a 20-minute motorcycle ride away.

After asking Nguyen Thi Linh's opinion, Li Qinghe had her apply for off-campus housing. Anyway, they had just bought a motorcycle, so commuting was quite close, and it was more comfortable to live at home.

Nguyen Hue Phuong, standing nearby, seemed very envious of Li Qinghe's attitude towards Nguyen Thi Linh, and quietly asked, "Do you live near Hoan Kiem Lake? Can I visit your home if I have time in the future?"

"You're welcome to visit. A Ling can take you there then. The food A Ling cooks is delicious."

Li Qinghe greatly praised Nguyen Thi Linh's cooking in front of Nguyen Hue Phuong, making the girl blush and hide behind him.

Li Qinghe knew Nguyen Thi Linh's shy nature and pure character, fearing she might be bullied at school, so he intentionally helped her establish a good relationship with Nguyen Hue Phuong.

After all, as a freshman class monitor, the other party would be relatively more outgoing, which could help Nguyen Thi Linh deal with some school matters.

However, because they had only recently met and he didn't yet understand Nguyen Hue Phuong's true nature, Li Qinghe didn't speak too deeply, and didn't reveal much about his own situation to her.

But pleasantries still needed to be exchanged to help Nguyen Thi Linh establish some connections.

And Teacher Su didn't take the 30 million dong benefit for nothing; he made it clear in front of Nguyen Hue Phuong that he could support Nguyen Thi Linh.

For a student who had just entered university, an admissions office teacher still had a lot of deterrent power.

After getting all the financial receipts from the finance office, Nguyen Hue Phuong took them to the Academic Affairs Center on the 3rd floor to collect textbooks.

Nguyen Thi Linh's major had quite a few textbooks, a large tote bag full of books, weighing at least thirty catties.

Li Qinghe originally wanted to help Nguyen Thi Linh, as this weight was basically nothing to him.

But Nguyen Thi Linh, the stubborn girl, insisted on carrying them herself.

On one hand, she didn't want to trouble Li Qinghe; on the other hand, these heavy books represented her new hope, and she wanted to fully appreciate this hard-won opportunity herself.

"Student Nguyen Hue Phuong, do you live in the school dormitory?"

Nguyen Thi Linh was not good at communicating, so Li Qinghe helped her out.

After coming out of the comprehensive building, Li Qinghe asked with a smile.

"Yes... yes."

Nguyen Hue Phuong answered with a bit of hesitation. Her family was very ordinary and couldn't afford her rent outside.

Just saying that made her feel a bit exposed compared to the two who could afford to rent outside.

Nguyen Hue Phuong knew that the couple's finances were definitely dominated by Li Qinghe, as she could tell from Nguyen Thi Linh's attitude towards him. When she was in her hometown, she had seen how women in wealthy men's families treated their men.

This made her envious, but it also stirred up her fighting spirit. Nguyen Hue Phuong decided to quietly study at school for one semester, and then start doing part-time jobs with her senior classmates in the next semester.

She was determined to earn the money to rent her own place outside.

Many thoughts flashed through Nguyen Hue Phuong's mind, and then Li Qinghe, smiling, entrusted her: "Student Nguyen Hue Phuong, would you be able to store these textbooks in your dormitory first? A Ling can come and take them little by little tomorrow."

"As a token of our gratitude, we'd like to invite you to Haidilao, a Chinese hotpot restaurant, tonight."
