287: Pearl Island Amusement Park

This tycoon, Pham, is also a famous example of a self-made success story in Vietnam. Just as Koreans can't live without Samsung, Vietnamese people's lives are intertwined with Pham Nhat Vuong.

He started his business in Ukraine. At that time, tycoon Pham was admitted to a mining school in Vietnam and was sent to study in the then-Soviet Union due to his excellent academic performance.

Being very business-minded, he traded Vietnamese specialties between Vietnam and the Soviet Union.

Later, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, he stayed in Kharkov, Ukraine, opening Vietnamese restaurants and instant noodle factories, becoming a well-known 'Instant Noodle King' in the area.

Even later, he sold his instant noodle factory for 150 million US dollars, took the money back to Vietnam, and began developing tourism and commercial real estate.

His business empire grew larger and larger. Now, VinFast, the electric car brand touted as 'made in Vietnam,' is part of his Vingroup's operations.

Even more interestingly, this electric car project was listed in the United States using a reverse merger, borrowing the shell company of the casino king's second son's company.

The Pearl Island project, known as 'Vietnam's Disneyland,' is also a very important part of his tourism real estate.

He wields enormous influence among the Vietnamese populace, and in the Pearl Island amusement park, you can see Vietnamese people with their families everywhere.

Groups of children happily chased and played in the amusement park, their sharp shouts and laughter filling the entire park.
