277: My first experience with the Nha Trang motorcycle gang

Li Qinghe keenly noticed that the motorcycle was heading straight for Vu Linh Huong.

It was because of the Chanel bag she was carrying.

This made Li Qinghe laugh in anger.

He had seen arrogant people, but never this arrogant. He had only experienced a motorcycle gang's 'hospitality' once during his long stay in Saigon.

Now, upon arriving in Nha Trang, he was thoughtfully offered a snatch-and-grab service. From such a distance, they were quite discerning.

If Li Mingxing was robbed in Saigon because she was on a different motorcycle, in a different location,

then if Vu Linh Huong was robbed right next to Li Qinghe in Nha Trang, it would truly mean they were treating Li Qinghe as if he didn't exist.

The loud roar of a motorcycle engine shot from the road onto the sidewalk, a motorcycle carrying two people sped straight towards Vu Linh Huong.

Before Vu Linh Huong could react, Li Qinghe put his arm around her waist and gently spun her around.

He used his body to block a hand reaching for her shoulder bag.

In the instant he turned, his hand lightly brushed the motorcycle's handlebars.

The roaring motorcycle suddenly fell silent.

The two unsuccessful robbers were about to twist the handlebars and leave, but while the handlebars turned, the motorcycle remained still.

"Hurry up!" the Vietnamese man on the back seat urged the driver.

"I'm trying to go, but the bike's got a problem."

The driver stomped on the kickstarter several times, but the bike wouldn't move.

A large crowd gathered around, watching the spectacle, some even raising their phones to take pictures.

Li Qinghe had already led Vu Linh Huong into the nearby crowd.

Because his turning and brushing motion was incredibly fast, no one noticed that he had taken the motorcycle key.

"Qinghe, what are these two doing?" Vu Linh Huong was still a bit puzzled, having been inexplicably embraced by Li Qinghe and moved to a different spot.

"These are Nha Trang's motorcycle snatchers. They were just about to snatch your bag."

"Ah!" Vu Linh Huong was startled.

She hadn't realized at all that the two motorcyclists who rushed up to them were trying to snatch the bag she was carrying.

One could only say that the environment a noblewoman usually stayed in was too safe, completely lacking this sense of crisis.

It was just like the Dragon Country People tourists who now travel all over the world.

Having lived in a stable domestic environment for too long, they assumed the whole world was like that.

As a result, they faced various 'lessons' as soon as they left the country.

They faced various dangers without even knowing it.

"MD, where's the key? Where's my bike key?"

After struggling for a while, the motorcycle snatcher who was driving suddenly realized that his motorcycle key had vanished.

Only then did he frantically start searching everywhere.

The snatcher on the back seat, seeing his companion panicking,

simply dismounted from the motorcycle. Inside his full-face helmet, two eyes gleamed with greedy light.

He looked around and found Li Qinghe standing not far away, with Vu Linh Huong in his arms.

The Chanel bag Vu Linh Huong was carrying immediately caught his eye, instantly making the snatcher's eyes turn red with desire.

He completely disregarded the danger of possibly not being able to escape later, pulled a dagger from his waist, and pointed the tip of the blade at Vu Linh Huong.

He loudly shouted, "Hand over the bag!"

For motorcycle snatchers, carrying a knife was perfectly normal.

Because sometimes when they pulled on someone's bag, some people might hold on very tightly, and at that point, they would need to use a knife to cut the bag straps.

Judging by this snatcher's demeanor, he intended to commit armed robbery directly since the snatch-and-grab by motorcycle failed. To them, there was no difference anyway.

Seeing the snatcher pull out a dagger, the surrounding people rationally backed away a good distance.

The reactions evoked by using a knife and not using a knife were completely different.

Vu Linh Huong pointed to herself and asked the snatcher, "Are you talking about my bag?"

"Nonsense, quickly hand over the bag!"

The snatcher, holding the dagger, strode towards Vu Linh Huong. In his view, as long as he had a knife in hand, everyone else would retreat.

Watching this hothead with a dagger approach.

Li Qinghe unhesitatingly raised his foot. With a clang, the dagger in the snatcher's hand was kicked to the ground by Li Qinghe.

"Ah Hui, come help me, this guy is a bit fierce!"

The snatcher turned his head and shouted for his partner, who was still fiddling with the motorcycle, to come and help.

His companion gloomily dropped the motorcycle, also pulled out a dagger, and walked over.

From their actions, it seemed they were just two individuals traveling to Nha Trang.

Motorcycle snatchers only ever consider immediate gains, completely disregarding what impact their usual behavior might have on a local tourist destination.

For these snatchers, immediate profit was the most important thing.

Seeing another snatcher pull out a dagger and walk towards Li Qinghe,

the surrounding crowd let out a gasp of surprise.

Watching a spectacle is human nature.

Especially for Asians who love to gather and watch.

From the whispers of the surrounding crowd, Li Qinghe could tell.

The largest number were Koreans, followed by Dragon Country People.

Most of the fair-haired, blue-eyed people were Russians.

It is well known that Westerners generally avoid places with many Russians.

So now, Russians could only come to Southeast Asia to travel with the Koreans and Dragon Country People here.

By the time the motorcycle snatcher drew his dagger and walked over, Li Qinghe had already subdued the first snatcher and pinned him to the ground.

Seeing his companion captured,

the motorcycle-riding snatcher quickly took two steps, aimed at Li Qinghe's forearm, and fiercely stabbed.

There were people who dared to resist snatchers, but not many, and the vast majority of them were Russians.

Therefore, Russians held a very special status in Nha Trang; they lived very relaxed lives.

Amidst the astonished gazes of the surrounding people, Li Qinghe easily knocked the second snatcher's dagger to the ground as well, and with a pull and a tug, the latecomer snatcher also knelt beside the first snatcher.

"Qinghe, are you alright?"

Vu Linh Huong only then belatedly realized that these two people were here to steal her bag.

Her pretty face flushed red with anger.

She angrily shouted at the two snatchers, "The reputation of our country is being ruined by people like you!"

As Vu Linh Huong spoke her Vietnamese clearly and precisely, both snatchers were dumbfounded.

"Sister, we thought you were Dragon Country People," one snatcher, kneeling on the ground, mumbled softly.

"Whether it's Dragon Country People, Koreans, or people from other countries, they come here to bring us economic income. If you do this, who will come here to spend money in the future?"

Vu Linh Huong spoke indignantly, but the snatchers kneeling on the ground were unimpressed.

Everyone's starting points are different, so naturally, their perspectives on problems are also different.

What the snatchers wanted was to make quick money and improve their lives.

Vu Linh Huong, on the other hand, stood at the national level, believing that these people were damaging the country's image.

So Vu Linh Huong spoke for quite a while, only to find that her earnest words were like talking to a brick wall—they sounded lively but had no effect whatsoever.

Finally, Vu Linh Huong could only angrily call the police.

Unexpectedly, the response speed of the Vietnamese police was infuriatingly slow.

It was more than half an hour later that four police officers leisurely rode over on motorcycles.

Looking at their nonchalant demeanor,

they seemed to think that snatching a bag was a minor issue, completely inconsequential. Upon hearing Vu Linh Huong say that the backpack had not been successfully snatched,

one officer muttered, "If it wasn't successfully snatched, why are you calling the police? You're wasting our rest time."
