278: Special crackdown on superficial work

Originally, Miss Wu was very angry about the public security officer's remarks.

The emotional breaking point came when they arrived at the nearby public security sub-bureau.

As the main force in catching the thief and the parties involved, Li Qinghe and Miss Wu were simply left aside and ignored by these public security officers after arriving at the public security sub-bureau.

When Miss Wu inquired, a public security officer even shouted, demanding she pay four million vietnamese dong for the dispatch fee, which was nearly 1100 dragon country currency. Although the cost was not much, it truly disgusted Miss Wu.

How could a noble lady normally endure such grievances?

So, she made a few phone calls on the spot.

Having known him for so long, this was the first time Li Qinghe had seen Miss Wu so angry; it seemed she was truly infuriated by these Nha Trang public security officers.

Not long after, several Toyota Prado police cars drove into the public security sub-bureau.

Several high-ranking officials in public security uniforms stepped out of the cars.

They ignored the respectful salutes and greetings of the other public security officers.

As soon as they entered the sub-bureau, they began to search around.

The arrival of these leaders made the entire public security sub-bureau tense.

They still did not know the reason why these leaders had collectively come to this small public security sub-bureau.

After a search, these high-ranking officials finally found Miss Wu and Li Qinghe, who had been left there, in an office.

"Miss Wu, I am Fan Antong, the Director of the Public Security Department of Khanh Hoa Province. First, on behalf of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Public Security Department, I apologize to you..."

The leading middle-aged police officer immediately apologized to Miss Wu and then began a comprehensive and profound self-criticism.

This was considered the highest leader of the entire Nha Trang public security system.

Meanwhile, in the corridor outside the conference room, those originally nonchalant public security officers were scared stiff, their faces pale.

Especially the public security officer who had audaciously demanded Miss Wu pay four million vietnamese dong for the dispatch fee, his face was crestfallen, without a trace of a smile.

They knew this time they were absolutely doomed, and it was likely they would not be able to keep their yellow uniforms.

Indeed, after a brief conversation with Miss Wu,

this group of high-ranking leaders from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Public Security system all came out and stood in the corridor outside the conference room.

The public security officers gathered in the corridor were excited; they rarely had the opportunity to see so many high-ranking leaders of the public security system.

After a stern criticism, Fan Antong immediately informed those few public security officers on the spot to take off their yellow uniforms and await processing.

These individuals were like prisoners awaiting sentencing finally receiving their verdict; their already hunched postures slumped even further.

Their suspended hearts completely died.

Meanwhile, their other colleagues, who had luckily not been involved in handling this police situation, cast sympathetic glances and secretly congratulated themselves for not getting entangled in this matter.

Fan Antong directed all public security officers of this sub-bureau to line up in the courtyard.

Everyone from the entire public security sub-bureau came out of their respective offices, presenting a chaotic scene.

Li Qinghe, standing by and watching the show, found it quite an eyesore to see these Vietnamese public security officers lining up in disarray.

Such a group of guys with crooked hats and mismatched uniforms strongly resembled the puppet troops of the Chinese nation back in the day.

Soon, public security officers from several nearby sub-bureaus also gathered here.

It was unclear if it was specifically done for Miss Wu's benefit.

Under Fan Antong's unified command, a special operation was launched tonight on Coastal Avenue, with public security delivering a heavy blow against scooter gangs.

Suddenly, tourists from various countries were surprised to find that Nha Trang's public security had suddenly become firm in the beach area.

Previously, if a scooter robbery didn't happen right in front of a public security officer, it would be completely ignored.

Before, in areas where tourists congregated, several scooter bag-snatching incidents would occur not long after each other.

Now, there were only a few sporadic incidents, and they were quickly apprehended by the public security officers on patrol.

Evidently, in the face of such a large-scale operation, scooter gangs with connections had received word and were lying low.

Only scooter gangs without roots or backing would foolishly continue to roam the streets looking for targets.

This superficial work of the temporary special crackdown operation against scooter gangs, deployed by Nha Trang public security, added some achievements that could be presented as results.

For a time, the security in Nha Trang's beach area significantly improved... "Qinghe, you must be starving."

Sitting in the restaurant, Miss Wu looked at the ravenously eating Li Qinghe beside her, feeling a little embarrassed.

Because of her tantrum, they had wasted a lot of time at the public security sub-bureau, and only now were they having dinner.

"It's fine, A Xiang, you eat quickly too."

Li Qinghe picked up a spring roll and placed it in Miss Wu's bowl.

He had been quite restrained tonight.

If Miss Wu hadn't been by his side, causing injuries in front of her might not have been good for her Wu Family, so Li Qinghe would have struck hard on the spot.

However, the two scooter gang members who were arrested wouldn't fare much better.

When arresting them, Li Qinghe had already pricked them with a few silver needles.

After a month, these two people would discover they had a strange illness, the kind that hospitals couldn't diagnose, like people with ALS, slowly losing sensation in their hands and feet, becoming only able to lie there.

By then, the needle puncture wounds would have long since healed, and no one would be able to tell what had happened.

After Li Qinghe obtained the Yan Huang Nine Needles, it seemed he had only used it once to regulate the body of his brother-in-law, Vu Van Nghia, and to treat Miss Wu's back.

Most of its other applications were for punishing those who provoked him.

If this were in a wuxia novel, Li Qinghe could be considered a master embodying both good and evil.

Dinner was settled very simply, and the two once again chose to take a walk to Nha Trang Beach.

Also known as one of the world's most beautiful beaches, Nha Trang's beach is also very famous.

The crowded beach had significantly more people than Mui Ne and Da Nang.

The businesses along the beach were also diverse and abundant, from hotels to roadside stalls, all kinds of businesses were available.

But for Li Qinghe, perhaps the impression left by Da Nang was more profound, so he even felt that Nha Trang's beach was not as beautiful as Da Nang's beach.

More importantly, perhaps because there were too many tourists here, the overall cleanliness of Nha Trang Beach was not as good as Da Nang's.

The air had a certain restlessness and enthusiasm that Da Nang lacked.

For Li Qinghe, if he had to choose between Da Nang and Nha Trang, he would choose Mui Ne.

Fortunately, the scooter gang incident at night did not overly affect their mood.

Li Qinghe bought two coconuts and drank them as they walked.

Speaking of coconuts, Nha Trang had quite a complete range of goods, but prices were considerably higher than in Da Nang; this was the price increase that comes with commercial development.

However, Miss Wu was having a great time amidst the crowd on the beach; she followed the flow of people to watch a performance on a stage set up on the beach.

Because it was more commercialized, on Nha Trang's beach, there were even performances by Vietnamese boy bands and girl groups.

From the performance style, it was basically Korean style.

The entertainment forms within Vietnam are still very heavily influenced by Korea.

Unlike the Chinese nation, where after being influenced by Korea, there would also be innovation and the derivation of some styles with Chinese characteristics.

Here in Vietnam, it was basically a direct copy.

So, if it weren't for these fresh-faced handsome men and beautiful women on stage singing and speaking in Vietnamese,

it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say they were identical to Korean boy and girl groups, at least eight or nine parts similar.

However, Li Qinghe, who understood the Vietnamese, thought some of the songs sung by the boy groups in Vietnamese were quite pleasant to listen to.

Later, these handsome men and beautiful women from the boy and girl groups enthusiastically invited the audience to come on stage and play games with them.

Li Qinghe saw Miss Wu looking at him with a hint of eagerness, so he quickly led her away; in non-essential situations, he didn't want to go on stage and be gawked at.

"Qinghe, do you want to go to the casino for a round?"

Miss Wu suddenly linked arms with Li Qinghe and whispered into his ear.
