108: Unique yin energy
"Can you tell me when exactly this started? Was it recent?" Elder Neil asked.
"I really don't know. I only saw it turn this color when I was taking a bath today. So I rushed here," she said.
"Hmm... Have you eaten anything, touched anything, or had anything strange happen recently?" Elder Neil asked.
"No—no, nothing like that. Can't—can't I be cured, Doctor?" she asked worriedly.
"I don't want to—"
"It's curable," Ning said from the side.
Elder Neil, interrupted mid-sentence, looked annoyed: "Nurse Ning, please don't speak when I'm talking to the patient."
"Alright, Elder Neil," Ning said.
"Yes, as I was saying, I don't—"
"Can I receive treatment?" the woman said excitedly, having been preparing for the worst news but somehow receiving very good news.
Elder Neil was annoyed again at being cut off, but let it go. After all, it was the patient. "Luo Ting turned to Ning and asked, "You said she could be cured, right? Tell me, how can she be cured?"
"Of course, Elder Neil," he said.
"Can she cultivate now? When cultivating, please make her stomach protrude. We need to see it."
"Cultivate here?" The woman was not ready for such a request.
"Yes, thank you. This is to see if our hypothesis is correct," Ning said.
"Alright then," the lady said, sitting on the ground and beginning to cultivate. For the first few minutes, nothing happened, and Elder Neil even thought of stopping her.
But soon, he noticed a previously unblemished black spot appearing around her stomach.
"What..." Elder Neil stood up from his seat and approached to examine it.
"This is indeed her cultivation technique. Madam, stop," he said.
The lady stopped cultivating and asked, "Is this my cultivation? Do you know how to cure it now?" she asked.
"This..." Elder Neil was still unsure.
"Yes, Miss," Ning said, walking over to her. "I will place my hand on your stomach and treat you now. Please be prepared," Ning said.
"Ah? You will? Aren't you a doctor?" she asked, surprised.
"Officer Ning, what are you doing?" Elder Neil asked.
Ning ignored Elder Neil and just asked the woman, "Who suggested you cultivate so we could see it?" Ning asked.
"Oh, yes, you did. Alright then, please cure me," she said.
"Alright, you'll hear some loud noises, so prepare yourself," Ning said.
The girl nodded and closed her eyes. Ning placed his hand on the lady's stomach and began the treatment. He used the Yin Sound Conversion Technique.
A faint hum emanated from where he touched the lady, quickly growing into a small buzz. The buzzing gradually built up, becoming louder and louder.
By the end, both the lady and the Elder felt very uncomfortable and had to cover their ears. Ning couldn't do that now, thankfully his body was strong enough to endure such a loud noise.
However, even so, his mind wasn't quite right. He began to feel a slight headache, which annoyed him.
"Damn, how much Yin has this woman accumulated?" he thought. For some reason, the Yin was leaving her body very slowly. When he had used this technique before, all the Yin around would gather into his arm within seconds.
However, it now took over several minutes for all the Yin to leave.
Elder Neil watched the entire procedure from beginning to end, surprised that she actually recovered.
At first, he wondered what the young man was doing after hearing the faint humming, but soon he noticed the black spot on the lady's stomach disappearing.
It was slow at first, but by the end, it was leaving her body at an incredible speed.
Finally, all the black spots were gone, and the intense noise was still present, but that didn't stop the woman from almost crying tears of joy.
Ning slowly stood up and retreated to the corner of the room. The Yin Sound Conversion Technique only converts Yin into sound energy during the technical process.
If he could collect the sound energy within this time, the sound energy would disappear, but if he didn't absorb all of it and stopped the technique, the sound energy would immediately revert to Yin.
He couldn't let that happen near the lady. After walking a short distance, he stopped using the method. Ning immediately stopped the method, allowing the sound to revert to Yin, as he was relieved that the task was complete.
However, when he saw that the Yin did not disperse as usual, but instead appeared as a distinct blue-black in the air, he frowned.
What happened?
Before he could even think, the black-blue floating Yin suddenly attacked the nearest body they could find: Ning.
They attacked Ning's right arm, which was floating in mid-air, and began to harm him.
"Ah," he groaned as the pain began to set in. His body was strong enough to handle that level of pain, but it was still painful.
"What is this? This isn't normal Yin. What is going on?" he thought. The Yin began to destroy his arm, and he was in pain, but Ning wouldn't let them continue.
He immediately began to play the Silver Wave again to absorb the Yin. As expected, they left his body and turned into sound shadows. The speed was still slow, but much faster than when he had done it with the woman.
But that was only a temporary option; he needed a permanent one.
So, he began to dance.
