114: Let off some steam

“Yes, your problem is that you slept on your arm all Night, so it still hurts. Rest for a few more hours and it will be back to normal,” Ning said.

“Ah? Doctor, please massage my arm.” The patient said.

“Sorry, I can’t do that. I can’t give massages to people who don’t need them anymore.

Thank you for coming, please give me your volunteer coupon.” Ning asked.

“Damn it, Doctor!” The man shouted, handing Ning a 1-point coupon.

Ning sighed. This had been the norm for the past 3 days since he had to stop his massage services. He told his patients that there would be no more massages unless they truly needed them, which angered many people.

Some of them had been waiting there for days and suddenly didn’t get what they wanted, so they started driving away.

Some still hoped he would secretly do it for them and went in, but once they were told no, they left with anger and bitterness.

Ning, to be honest, no longer liked the atmosphere here, and now that he wasn’t doing massages, people stopped coming to him.

He waited another 2 hours, and only 3 people came in, only 1 of whom had serious problems, while the other 2 just wanted massages.

Once they left, no one else came.

Ning arrived the next day, hoping to at least get a few more patients than yesterday, but even then, not a single patient came.

The next two days were the same, just empty days, with patients adamantly refusing to come to him again.

So, the next day, Ning decided to take a short break. It was his day off, so he went into the forest to hunt some beasts and let off some steam.

Night and Beetle were still evolving. Night’s evolution seemed to be making no progress, but he was patient. Just in case, he also increased Night’s Beast Space to 200 kilograms.

Beetle, on the other hand, had entered its cocoon. Ning didn’t know exactly when, but soon, it would emerge as an evolved beast.

“That should be interesting,” Ning thought. His bald head and robes clearly identified him, so no one stopped him as he walked around town. Thankfully, no one got too close and recognized who he was.

He walked towards the forest, going deeper and deeper. Along the way, he encountered a few beasts, but with his cultivation near the Seventh Condensation Realm, those beasts seemed weak, so he went even deeper.

In the forest, even if one goes very deep, it’s hard to find monsters stronger than the Fifth Condensation Realm, so Ning didn’t go deeper into the center, but instead started going deeper towards the coast, where he suspected people wouldn’t go often.

He ran to this place, and soon, Ning found a beast worth fighting.

Not far in front of him, a huge camouflaged python was growing on a tree, staring at Ning. If he hadn’t accidentally seen it, he might have just been attacked.

“Oh, a Withered Python Tree. They are quite low-ranked, but I should be careful of their bites,” he thought. He quickly checked its cultivation and realized this was actually an Eighth Condensation Realm monster.

The python was two realms higher than him, so he had to be careful. He was strong, but he didn’t know exactly how strong. So, he began to use his best combat technique, using a spear, the Spinning Spear technique.

At the same time, he used Hypnotic Dance again, but it had little effect on the python. The python was crawling towards him as Ning slowly increased his power with the spear.

As soon as it got close, it immediately pounced on Ning. Ning was ready for the attack and immediately maneuvered around the swinging spear, hitting the python directly in the jaw.

With this slight attack, the python failed to hit Ning and immediately turned around, but by this time, Ning had already hit the python’s exposed body with his spear.

He spun the spear, hitting the snake’s body with the spear tip each time. The spinning motion added energy to it that it wouldn’t normally have.

Ning saw the python turn back and immediately jumped up. Suddenly, he also saw the python attack him with its tail, which he easily dodged.

He landed near the python’s lower body and also began to attack it. He couldn’t get any more anger and frustration from his patients, and even if he did, he only got a 1-star coupon.

He came here to drive them all out, and he did. Each strike released his pain and frustration. He now realized that he could defeat the snake at any time, but he didn’t. Instead, he continued to hit its entire body while constantly dodging it.

There was no fight at all, and eventually, the snake died from its injuries.

“This isn’t enough,” he thought. He needed something better. He looked around for all kinds of beasts, but ultimately found no beasts worth fighting.

Even Eighth Condensation Realm monsters died easily. He needed something better.

Suddenly, he heard something.

“You idiots, we have to find them again, they’re running around here.”

Ning’s ears perked up when he heard this, and he smiled, but soon, his smile turned evil as he turned around and looked at the man not far from him.

“Finally, it’s time for revenge.”
