119: Rehabilitation
Ning walked straight in and looked at the 6 women with dark blue, bloated bellies, then turned to look at the 6 doctors.
Surprisingly, he recognized all of them. There was Elder Neil, First Elder, doctors he had worked with multiple times, someone from the volunteer examination, and another from the management team.
Finally, he saw the last person he hadn't expected to see here, Qezir Brochi. “Wow, I haven’t seen this guy in a long time,” he thought.
The last time he saw him was before he first entered the City of Stars, yet Ning said nothing, only bowing to the group of people in front of him.
In front of him, they were all his seniors, which was fitting.
“Volunteer Ning, I heard you can help these people,” the manager asked. “Yes,” Ning said.
Everyone in the room looked up. “You can heal them, caregiver, uh, I mean, Volunteer Ning?” the doctor asked.
“Yes, I can,” Ning said.
“Don’t worry, I’ve seen him do it,” Elder Neil said. He hated Ning, but even he couldn't deny that he was the best person for the job.
“Well, can you tell us what’s going on with these people, Volunteer Ning?” First Elder asked.
Ning looked at the two girls and said, “This is their cultivation method. The things they cultivate gather this very unique Yin from what I know, and it somehow accumulates in their groin area.”
Then he turned around and began to explain.
“Then the Yin will accumulate and start to inflate them from the inside. The Yin itself is very dangerous, but because of the method they cultivate, I don’t think it will harm their bodies. However, if we pass the same Yin to any of us, the Yin will start to devour us from the inside, almost making us rot.”
“I must say, these girls are lucky it didn’t eat them, otherwise they would have died by now. However, for these girls to have it is also…” Ning paused for a few seconds, immediately turned to the girls, and asked, “Are any of you from the Hawk Sect?”
The girls looked at each other expressionlessly, then began to nod. The Elders and doctors were surprised to see the unanimous affirmation.
“Are all you girls from the Hawk Sect?” Qezir asked with a strange expression.
“Yes, Doctor,” they all nodded and said. He thought of something and asked, “When did you girls leave the sect?” ‘Leave?’ Ning was surprised; this was a conclusion Qezir had reached without any hints.
“A few months ago.” “Three months ago.” “Four months ago.”
Similar answers were given from all directions.
“Amitabha! What on earth is that woman doing?” Qezir whispered, but everyone heard him.
Ning didn’t understand what this meant, but he wasn’t bothered by it. “Can I heal them now?” he asked.
“Of course, but how will you do it?” First Elder asked.
“Yes, Volunteer Ning, you didn’t tell me what happened last time either,” Elder Neil said.
Ning thought for a while. He couldn't tell them about the Yin Sound Conversion Technique. Even if he could, they wouldn’t be able to learn it, so it would be useless. Therefore, the only thing he could do now was to explain vaguely.
“As I said before, all of this is Yin gathered inside. As long as you can remove it by some method, you can heal them. I have a method that only I can use, but you must find your own.”
Ning called one of the girls forward and began to use the Yin Sound Conversion Technique.
It took him some time, but he successfully pulled the Yin from her body.
However, he didn't immediately let go of the buzzing sound. The others were already trembling from the loud noise, and even Elder Neil, who knew what was going to happen, couldn't help but flinch.
Seeing the bloated dark blue abdomen return to flatness, the elders were all surprised.
Ning wanted to go to the next woman immediately, but then he remembered how powerful the Yin was. If he let the Yin accumulate, he didn't know if he could handle it.
So, he started dancing again. Elder Neil was a bit surprised this time. Last time he danced, he felt the kid was mocking him, but this time, in front of so many elders, he didn't dare to do that.
“What on earth is that kid doing?” he wondered.
Suddenly, the sound disappeared, and Ning danced for a while longer before stopping.
“Nephew…it was harder than I remembered. This girl’s…”
“Volunteer Ning, are you alright?” First Elder asked.
“Yes, I’m fine. That was a bit harder than I expected, but I’m fine now,” he said.
“What exactly did you just do?” they asked.
“Oh, you see, when I took the Yin, it was still following me, and it would attack me once I let go, so I had to use a technique to erase it from my body,” Ning said.
“If you don’t mind, I will continue to treat the other ladies as well,” Ning said.
“Of course. Please, go ahead,” Qezir said.
Ning continued to do the same thing. He would take the Yin from the ladies, then dance for a while to destroy the Yin. The elders and doctors watched fascinated by what was happening before them.
After a while, Ning managed to heal all the ladies, and they left.
“It’s late, and I should go too. Please send any new ladies who encounter this problem to my room in the volunteer hall,” Ning said before leaving as well.
