127: quarrel
Ning ran around the City, making a loud noise. Wherever he found a zombie, he would kill them and take the Yin from them.
Soon, he ran into a problem. It was night, and natural Yin was everywhere. He couldn't differentiate the unique Yin from the natural Yin.
So every once in a while, he would stop the technique. The natural Yin would dissipate into the atmosphere, while the unique Yin would only attack his body, rapidly decaying.
He had to run away each time and collect the unique Yin further.
"This should be enough," he thought as he began to use the Sun God's Morning Cleanse technique. Soon, the unique Yin was destroyed.
Once it was gone, he started going to another place and doing it again. He didn't know any other way to get rid of this unique Yin, so he didn't even bother doing anything besides helping people for now.
The fires were under control, but the number of zombies was increasing. Wherever he went, he yelled at people not to touch dead bodies. The message was slowly spreading, but it wasn't enough.
"It's not enough until the person behind this is taken care of," Ning thought.
Ning started from the outer ring of the City, so it took him a while to reach the City center. It took him even longer because he was helping people along the way.
He had barely reached the outer ring of the inner City when he used the Sun God's Morning Cleanse technique for the 7th time.
He looked around, seeing death and destruction. It was too much. People were running around, screaming, with dozens of zombies following behind them.
"The longer we keep this up, the stronger the enemy gets," Ning thought.
Bam!
A house next to him was torn down as a person was flung out. Ning immediately ran toward the person after seeing he was a member of the Pure Sect.
"Brother, are you alright?" Ning asked, checking for any injuries or bleeding.
"Uh... I'm fine. She's too strong for me," the man said as he stood up.
"Hehe, you can't beat me. Give up and be my servant," a voice said from beyond the dust and smoke where the house had just collapsed.
Ning turned around and saw a woman walk out from inside. The woman had an evil smile and a head full of unkempt hair. However, what caught Ning's eye was her slightly blue skin. It made her look like she wasn't human, or if she was, she had just come out of a refrigerator.
"Like hell I will," the man stood in front of her, holding his staff. However, Ning could see that the man was clearly scared.
"How strong is she exactly?" Ning wondered, silently checking the woman.
7th Qi Condensation realm.
"That's not very strong. I'm stronger than her," Ning thought.
He then turned to look at the man, to see if he was weaker than the woman.
7th Qi Condensation realm.
"What?" Ning was surprised. "How can one person be stronger than another with the same cultivation base? Does she have higher body cultivation?" Ning silently checked, but neither had body cultivation.
"Hiyah!" The man screamed, and he ran forward, swinging his staff horizontally. The woman took a step back and swung her sword as well.
The man had range, but the woman had speed. She began to quickly close the gap and slammed the staff.
The staff flew out of the man's arms and flew toward a wall near them. She then cut the man's leg, stopping him from moving further.
However, the woman didn't continue. "Alright, be my servant," she said, walking up and placing her palm on the man's bald head.
Bam!
Ning kicked her in the stomach, but the woman was quick enough to block his attack with her sword. "Hehe, I wondered when you would help," she said.
"She survived?" Ning said in surprise. His body cultivation was much higher than hers, yet she still survived.
"Is it a skill?" he wondered, and quickly checked her skill list. However, he didn't know what many of the skills did, and thus didn't know what hers did either. The skills there were all self-explanatory.
"How about you be my servant too?" the woman said, licking her lips.
Ning pulled out the Blood Red Spear from his storage and said, "No thanks. I'd rather die than have anything to do with a blue-skinned b*tch like you."
The woman's smiling face immediately turned cold as she ran forward and slammed her sword at him. Ning blocked the sword, parrying it with his spear, and he began to move it around.
He swung it from the side, attacking her. The woman blocked it directly with her sword. Ning took the spear back, spun it, and attacked from the other side.
The woman blocked it again. However, before she was ready, the spear came from the other side, aiming for her head.
The woman dodged, but her face was still cut a little.
Black blood began to flow from her cheek. The woman placed her palm on her cheek, unable to believe what had just happened.
"You dare cut my face!" the woman said in anger, and her sword began to glow blue. Ning didn't know what she was doing, but he wanted to finish her as quickly as possible.
So, he took the spear back for a final strike.
However, before his spear reached her, the woman swung her sword, and immediately a large amount of blue energy shot out from the sword, throwing Ning all the way to a wall of a house on the other side.
He stood up and quickly realized his mistake.
"You poor fool. You don't even remember that there's someone you need to protect," she said, placing her palm on the bald man on the ground, and quickly, his head began to wrinkle and age.
