94: judgment

<You can obtain 'Supreme Domination' for 120 million energy>

Ning said, "Wow, that's a lot of money. But I guess I can afford it. Buy it."

<Confirmed>

Information about the new technique entered his mind: Supreme Domination. As its name suggested, it dominated anyone's mind, turning them into its subordinates, regardless of whether they were beasts or humans.

However, the stronger the target's mental power and the stronger their desire to control, the more energy would be required.

He placed his hand on the Beetle's consciousness and said, "Control!" Suddenly, the system notified him that he had lost 18 million energy. Ning didn't know if this meant the Beetle's mental strength was strong or weak, but since the energy consumption was low, he accepted it.

"Stop eating," he said. The Beetle suddenly stopped eating the seeds and looked at him. Night also stopped eating to see why, but then quickly resumed eating.

However, the Beetle continued to wait for more commands.

"You can eat now," he said.

The Beetle went back to eating seeds. As the information in his mind stated, this technique had no effect on them other than adding a command to their minds: act according to the caster's command line.

That was all, and only that.

"Now that I think about it, what are your cultivation bases?" he wondered as he looked them over.

Second Qi Condensation Realm

"Too weak. It's fine, I'll find good cultivation methods for both of you now. I just unlocked Kinetic Energy Capsule No. 2. Alright, both of you come in, you can eat later," Ning said, then put them both back into his beast bag.

He smiled happily, as he had found another great beast.

He looked around at the dead people and beasts, sighed, but did nothing and left. Since he had nothing else to do in the forest, he returned to the sect.

Along the way, he saw a few more people, but they all looked at him with strange eyes, and Ning just ignored them.

"Alas, the sky is still cloudy," Ning thought with a sigh.

"It's him, that disciple right there, the one who tried to kill me." A voice came from not far from Ning.

Ning looked forward and saw that it was Yazi, and one of the remaining six people. They seemed to have brought five sect elders.

'What does he want now?' Ning wondered.

"Disciple, stop right here," one of the elders stepped forward and commanded Ning. Ning didn't know what was happening, but he followed the elder's command.

"It's him, Elders. It was he who attacked me and killed my father and most of the people with me while we were hunting the 'Great Shell Silver Beetle'," Yazi said.

"What? You were the one who tried to kill me, don't twist the facts!" Ning said angrily.

"What twisting facts? If the seven of us wanted to kill you, you would have been dead by now, not us," Ashius said. "He not only stole my pet, but also killed my people, and even tried to kill me. Please, Elders, administer justice for me," he screamed, as if the death of his people had greatly affected him.

"We will soon know the truth. Disciple, tell us, where did you get the blood on your clothes?" the elder asked.

"What?" Ning looked down, only now realizing he was covered in blood. "This... I killed his people. They came for me to steal my bird." Ning said.

"Lying, we didn't do such a thing." Ashius screamed.

"Quiet. So you admit you killed their people. Can you show us the beast in your beast bag?" the elder said.

Ning took Night out of his beast bag and said, "This is the beast they wanted to steal. They wanted my Night Hunter, so they surrounded me and attacked me." Ning explained.

"Hmm... what about your other beast?" the elder asked.

"My other beast?" Ning paused, "What about my other small beast?" Ning asked.

"Show us," the elder said.

Ning considered for a moment whether to take out the Beetle, but if he didn't, they would be extremely suspicious of him and might even believe that guy's lies. So, he took out the Beetle.

"Oh," the elders said in surprise. A Night Hunter and a Great Shell Silver Beetle together was not something one saw every day.

"Can you tell me how you got the Beetle?" the elder asked.

Ning explained how they had met by chance, how the followers had tried to kill him for his bird, and how he had tamed the Beetle after killing those people.

"I see, you said you were attacked by them, can you show us your wounds?" the elder asked.

"My wounds?" Ning checked his entire body, but they had all healed. "I don't have any wounds," he said.

"Oh, you managed to kill 5 people without getting injured? Commendable," the elder said. Ning breathed a sigh of relief, thinking the elder saw his truth.

"Commendable, yes. But only if you are telling the truth," the elder said.

"What? No, I'm telling the truth," Ning said.

"Haha, you want us to believe that you successfully fought seven people with higher cultivation levels than you, killed them, and took the Beetle, because they happened to meet you and wanted to kill you? Do you think I was just born yesterday?" the old man said angrily.

"No, but I want to tell him," Ning wanted to say, but was immediately interrupted.

"Shut up. We will not listen to another lie from you. If this were an ordinary fight, we would let you go. However, since you attempted to take the life of a disciple from another sect, I, an elder of the Misty Origin Sect, hereby expel you from this sect. You shall never again set foot in this sect."
