136: Chapter 136 4v1

A Lightning Leopard suddenly appeared from nowhere and landed on the woman.

However, an invisible barrier showed visible black when it blocked the lightning.

A flame also appeared from the side, but it was also blocked by the invisible barrier.

Watching the two sect leaders' futile attempts, the woman just laughed.

The woman said, “I am very weak right now, but even so, I doubt either of you can stop me.” Suddenly, spikes of Corpse Qi emerged from the barrier around her, attacking everything.

“Kacim!” Ikusa shouted.

“I know. Amitabha!” Kacim prayed, and their own golden barrier prevented the spikes from getting close.

Ikusa had no defense against Corpse Qi, so if he wanted to save his Rainbow Phoenix and Lightning Leopard, he needed to rely on Kacim.

“T’sk. These damned Buddhists, why are you so intent on fighting us, huh?” the woman said.

Kacim said nothing and directly fired a blast of golden energy towards the woman.

For the first time since they started fighting, the woman truly moved.

She brought it up, and a sword made of Corpse Qi appeared in her hand.

She slashed at the incoming energy and destroyed it.

“My Phoenix’s flames are somewhat helpful against Corpse Qi, but not as much as your Buddhist techniques. Instead, I will focus on distracting her with my attacks while you deal the main damage,” Ikusa said.

Kacim just nodded.

Fire and lightning intertwined, covering the greatsword in Ikusa’s hand.

Ikusa immediately rushed forward, slashing at the woman, however, the barrier was still there, blocking his way.

At the same time, a black claw landed on the woman’s back.

That was also blocked by the barrier.

Before she could attack either of the two, the Rainbow Phoenix flew towards her with incredible speed, scratching the barrier with its burning claws.

Suddenly, all three of them fell back into the golden barrier Kacim had prepared.

The woman was angry.

She had been severely injured when she discovered this body two years ago and spent a lot of time recovering.

Therefore, she had no time to increase her new cultivation base.

The body and others were on the same level.

All she had managed to do was slowly indoctrinate new female disciples and staff into her sect, making them obey her commands and brainwashing them.

Seeing how weak her own new sect was, she thought all sects in the region might be similar.

However, just in case, she neglected to check them, spending all her time on the body.

'Damn it. I need to do something about that Buddhist, or I’ll lose in a war of attrition,' she thought.

Some new Buddhists also came down below and began to turn the tide of the battlefield.

“My team is here to help,” Ikusa said with a triumphant smile.

A large number of newcomers and beasts entered the battlefield as they began to fight the blue-skinned women in the town.

Ikusa charged forward again, striking the barrier with his sword, but this time the woman clashed with him using the sword she had created.

The Phoenix and the Leopard also flew in to attack simultaneously.

The woman immediately turned to attack them.

Ikusa made another sword attack, which was blocked by the barrier this time.

Kacim joined the battle and also began to attack the woman.

A golden palm appeared from nowhere, striking the barrier from the top.

The woman was now fighting four different opponents at once.

She had tried to send Corpse Qi to rot them, but the Buddhist barrier would always purify the small amount she sent out.

If she wanted to cause any actual damage, she might need to send more than 50% of her Qi to one of the two, so she could fully turn into a Corpse.

But then, she would have to fight the remaining person at half capacity, and she wasn't sure if she could survive.

So, she decided to fight without losing as much Qi as possible.

Relentless clashes rang out in the battle as the woman did her best to survive the assault.

There was a slash on the right.

She was used to it now and just waited for it.

The moment the slash came, instead of blocking it, she launched an attack.

She let the sword attack her body.

However, she was not naive enough not to prepare any defenses.

Sticky black slime appeared from her blue skin, and it grabbed the sword that hit her.

Ikusa tried to pull, but he couldn't.

While he was distracted, the woman took the opportunity to twist her body, disarming Ikusa.

She quickly grabbed the handle, swung the sword once, and then blindly stabbed behind her.

“Your cat gets pretty stupid when you don't command it, doesn't it?” the woman asked as she pulled the sword out of the Lightning Leopard she had just stabbed in the stomach.

“No!” Ikusa screamed.

But it was too late.

The Leopard's body rotted from where it was stabbed, quickly turning into a walking Corpse.

“Amitabha!” Kacim immediately released golden light, releasing all the rot from the Leopard, but it could not save the Leopard's life.

“You!!” Ikusa was furious.

The three of them, including the Phoenix, fought the woman again.

The woman now held Ikusa’s sword, so they were more careful, and with one less ally, they could not overwhelm her as before.

However, the woman was also not so well off.

She had already lost all her blue, and her skin had returned to its normal color.
