45: announcement
"Oh my, it's you," the old woman said, looking at the small stone, her eyes starting to well up.
"Who... are you?" Ning asked the woman.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Lord Inikaka. This humble one is one of your humble servants, named Hasini," the old woman said.
"Then how did you know I was your lord, and that I would be here?" Ning asked.
"Oh, Lord Inikaka, we have known for a long time. Ever since you sent us humble ones food, we have gone to your shrine every day to pray for your blessings. We are very grateful that you sent us meat and fruit," the old woman said.
"Shrine?" Ning was a little surprised, then looked around and realized that they had mistaken the home he built for his physical body as a temple. "This is troublesome," Ning thought.
"Alright. Take me to the village. I want to see Hyesi," he said.
"Yes, Lord," the old woman said, holding him in her hand and starting to run, moving faster than most of the monsters he had seen on the other island.
"Oh my... how can someone who cultivates body techniques be so fast?" He was surprised. A few minutes later, the old woman arrived at the village.
"Chief, everyone, look who's back!" the old woman shouted as soon as she returned to the village.
Someone asked, "Old Hasini, what are you shouting about?"
"Hey, hey, you're so old and still running like this, do you still think you're a young woman?" an old man asked.
"Shut up, Delika," Hasini snapped at the old man who had just spoken.
The chief walked out of his stone house and asked, "Why are you shouting at Senior Hasini? Who's back?"
"Look!" the old woman held the stone high above her head for everyone to see.
"I thought you were going to the temple to seek more blessings. Is that food?
To me, it's just an ordinary stone?" the chief asked.
"Of course, this is not food, nor is it an ordinary stone," Hasini said. She took a deep breath, then shouted, "Our Lord and Savior Inikaka has returned personally to bring us blessings." "Oh my, this feels so awkward. It feels like I'm a *mba, being hung in the village for everyone to see," Ning thought.
"What? Lord Inikaka?" the chief shouted.
"Lord Inikaka?" another person shouted.
"Impossible. Oh my," another person said.
Unbeknownst to Ning, everyone in the village had already knelt on the ground, bowing to him.
"Please don't do this. I'm already cringing," Ning began to shout internally. A moment later, the Kravians did not seem to lift their heads from the ground at all.
"Uh... everyone, you can stand up now," Ning finally spoke.
"Inikaka!!" everyone suddenly shouted.
That night, the entire tribe held a grand gathering, with two huge monster carcasses placed over the fire as food, while the young and adults danced to the music of the elders.
Hyesi had returned home, and Ning decided to temporarily turn his body into a necklace.
"You're finally back with us, Inikaka," Hyesi said.
"I always wanted to go. Didn't I tell you to keep an eye on that place for me from time to time?" he asked.
"Yes, Inikaka, but... after you sent food, I thought you might choose to send us food directly and give up the fight with Fufuliki," Hyesi said.
"Of course not. But speaking of sending food, how did they know about me?" he asked.
"Oh, that, Inikaka. At first, when you sent us food, I brought it back to the village and distributed it to everyone, saying it had washed up on the beach. But after a few days, they started to become suspicious."
"After that, you sent the carcass of a bird. That's when I knew I couldn't hide anything anymore, so I decided to tell them everything. Since then, people have gone to the place I built every day to receive our blessings."
"I hope you're not angry because the child made a mistake, Lord Inikaka," Hyesi said.
"Alas, no," Ning said, not expecting things to develop to this point, so he now had to find a way.
"Actually..." he thought, "This seems to be the best time." "Hyesi, take me to the center of the crowd," he asked Hyesi.
"Yes, Lord Inikaka," Hyesi said, then walked to the middle of the music and dancing. Seeing Hyesi approach, they did nothing at first, but when they remembered that Inikaka was in Hyesi's necklace, the entire village immediately fell silent.
The only sounds there were the crackling of the fire and the distant sound of waves.
"Everyone, I have something to say to you," Ning said loudly.
"Lord Inikaka, what's wrong? Can we help you?" the chief immediately asked.
"No, it's something else. I came here to see what this world is like. I have always been far from you, barely able to see you, so I decided to observe up close. So, I transformed into this ethereal form that needs another body to inhabit," Ning said.
"However, I have now decided that I want to have my own body, one that can move around. I want to see what it feels like to be human, to see if you are really as weak as I imagine. Because this will be my new body, it will be very weak. I hope you can help me stay strong and protect me from everything else."
Then he said, "In return, I can help you become stronger, give you food, and most importantly, kill that damned demon named Fufuliki who has been plaguing your lives."
