Freya reacted instantly, blocking the monster's fangs with her sword.
After blocking it, she was knocked back a few steps.
The monster fled again.
Freya didn't let it get away this time.
She accelerated with a strange technique, following the monster as it flew.
Suddenly, she brought two fingers together, and a yellow light began to glow on them.
Then she ran her fingers along the hilt of her sword, and the entire sword turned yellow.
Then she aimed at the monster and thrust her sword straight forward.
A huge yellow energy shot out from her sword, flying towards the monster.
However, the monster reacted quickly and managed to dodge most of the attack.
The energy finally hit a pile of snow behind it, sending the snow flying into the air.
The monster took the opportunity to disappear again.
Freya became nervous and uneasy.
She began to turn and look back, trying to spot the monster.
She was deep in the forest, where the dense trees helped camouflage the deer-like monster.
Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she saw it moving.
She swung her sword, meeting it, and successfully cut a large gash from its neck all the way down to its chest.
However, the monster didn't stop but swung its claws at the hand holding the sword.
Freya finally lost her sword as it flew out of her hand.
The Nings father and son, who were watching from the side, were also shocked.
"No! If this continues, she will die, she is already so badly injured," Ning A said, his voice trembling slightly.
Ning B was just silent, but he was also very worried about her at this moment.
"Don't we have any other way?" Ning A shouted.
"No. The most we can do is make a little more noise.
But I don't think that will do much good anymore," Ning B said somewhat sadly.
The Ning Couple didn't want to see the girl they had accompanied for so long die.
Perhaps it was their amplified emotions that made them feel this way, or perhaps they were just ordinary people who didn't want anyone else to die.
Regardless, they hoped Freya would emerge from this battle alive.
However, the situation was getting worse, but fortunately, the monster was also heavily wounded, its breathing growing heavier, and blood dripping onto the snow, making the already reddish snow even darker.
The monster launched its final attack on Freya, who was now unarmed.
In desperation, Freya drew the scabbard she carried with her and used it as a sword.
She thrust the scabbard into the wound on the monster's neck, piercing deep into its injury.
The monster let out a loud roar, in immense pain.
Its right lung was severely damaged, and it was panting heavily like a dog, feeling very hot.
The Ice Puppet had just finished dealing with the other monsters and were coming this way.
The monster, with its limited intelligence, saw that it was outnumbered and doomed to die, so it immediately turned and fled, with the two Ning still attached to its chest, as it escaped.
"No, where are you going? Go to hell," Ning A yelled sharply.
"Thank God, she's safe," Ning B said with a sigh of relief.
The monster finally stopped after running one or two kilometers, as blood loss and lack of oxygen had overwhelmed it.
It slowly began to grow drowsy and lost consciousness, allowing its body to slowly die in the cold snow.
The Ning Couple had already turned off notifications, but from the hot blood around them, they could still feel that they were greatly affected by the thermal energy.
However, at this moment, the temperature slowly began to get colder and colder.
Boom!
Suddenly, there was a loud explosion overhead, and a flying tiger was seen fleeing at an extremely high speed.
A group of people appeared nearby but did not pursue it further, seemingly having lost another person after one exploded into pieces.
"That tiger lost? Did those cultivators win?" Ning A asked, confused.
"Definitely.
If it hadn't lost, what reason would it have to leave?" Ning B replied.
"Why did these monsters attack? Was it organized by that tiger?
Do all these animals have intelligence?" Ning A asked, confused.
Suddenly, footsteps sounded not far away, and the Nings father and son immediately looked in the direction of the sound, discovering that a pack of wolves had appeared.
And they were hungrily staring at the dead monster before them.
"Wait, if they eat the monster and leave us here, we'll never be able to leave," Ning A said.
"Oh no, can we exchange bodies with anything here?" Ning B said.
"I think it's fine, there's only snow here, nothing else to exchange bodies with," Ning A said.
The wolf pack looked extremely hungry and all moved forward to eat the monster.
At first, they slowly nudged the monster, checking if it moved.
Once they confirmed the monster was indeed dead, they began to gnaw on it.
They slowly tore at the monster's flesh bite by bite, and a few minutes later, only bones remained of the monster.
The Nings father and son began to panic, unsure of what to do now, as they no longer had anyone carrying a scabbard, nor anything else to exchange bodies with.
After feasting, one of the wolves began to howl loudly, and the rest of the wolves followed suit, howling so loudly that it made the Nings father and son dizzy.
However, despite the loud sound, they could still clearly hear the prompt that popped up next.
