52: Sun God's Morning Cleansing Tips

The Chief was confused as to why his God would make him drink salty seawater.

The Villagers were equally perplexed, unsure of what was happening.

Ning, however, did not answer.

He simply closed his eyes and dipped his right hand into the water.

The bucket emitted a faint hum and began to vibrate rapidly.

After a few seconds, Ning opened his eyes and said again, "Alright, drink it now."

The Chief hesitated, scooped some water, and drank it again.

Only this time, he did not panic.

"Now it's just ordinary water," the Chief said, a little surprised.

"Yes, I will teach you how to do it.

It's the same with food.

You don't have to eat only fish.

I will teach you how to grow many different foods."

From then on, Ning began to teach the Villagers to read and write.

He couldn't teach them to filter water or farm yet, as he didn't have that much energy at the moment.

He taught them to read and write using their own language's alphabet.

The Intermediate Kravian language he purchased not only gave him translation abilities but also the ability to read and write.

However, for some reason, the Kravians had now forgotten them.

"Centuries must have passed," Ning thought, "I wouldn't be surprised if the Sun Gods Morning Purification Technique they learned was incorrect."

Ning thought he needed to buy it as soon as possible.

But when he asked the system about the price, the system told him that the original technique would cost him 860 million energy.

So, he still had a lot of time to spend.

After teaching the people, he returned to Hyesi's home and placed the potatoes in a cool, dark place to sprout eyes.

The next month passed like this, every morning, Ning would wake up from his cultivation, walk from his home back to the village, and then use Yin-Yang Conversion to gather as much energy as possible.

Then he would eat and drink to fill his stomach, begin teaching the people in the village, and a few hours later, he would return home to cultivate.

During this time, he had already taken the potatoes to plant.

The potatoes were buried in the soil, and small sprouts had already grown from them.

He would occasionally go to another island to check on these potatoes, bringing back some fruits and meat.

Otherwise, he would just cultivate all day.

Although his aura had begun to condense, he still hadn't felt the so-called breakthrough, as if after a month of cultivation, he still hadn't reached that stage.

As long as he knew there was food, he wouldn't miss it at night; otherwise, he would continue to cultivate.

His cultivation would usually last all night, and before dawn, he would return to the village to start a new day again.

It was morning, and the sun had just risen, but this day was a little different from usual, because he had accumulated over 900 million energy points, and could finally buy the original Sun Gods Morning Purification Technique.

"System, purchase Sun Gods Morning Purification Technique," he commanded.

<Sun Gods Morning Purification Technique requires 860 million energy, are you sure?>

'Yes.'

<Congratulations on purchasing 'Sun Gods Morning Purification Technique.'>

He had just bought a skill, so there was no sudden information pop-up other than what he had to do to make the skill itself work.

The Sun Gods Morning Purification Technique was a set of movements he had to perform before the sun appeared on the horizon and finish when the sun was completely off the horizon.

This day, he decided not to cultivate, only to practice the technique.

His brain knew what he should do, but his body didn't.

So he thought it was a good idea to teach it what to do.

He spent a few hours less teaching the Villagers today.

After a month, most of them were able to read, but writing was still a bit difficult for them.

After today's lesson, he went to a secluded spot on the island to begin practicing.

At first, he was a bit stiff and didn't know what to do, but after a day of practice, he learned a lot.

His technique was not perfect, but it wasn't too bad either.

In fact, he was better than most of the Villagers here, because they were using an irregular technique.

Over the past few hundred years, the Kravians had lost the exact method of using the technique and were instead using what they remembered.

"I should teach them the correct method tomorrow," he thought.

After cultivating for a few more hours, he went to the village to eat some meat he had caught a few days ago, and after eating, he returned to his house to cultivate.

"Ugh, I shouldn't have been moving around for so long.

I'm exhausted now," he said, yawning.

He sat cross-legged and began to cultivate, but his body just wouldn't obey him.

He had been awake for over a month, which was impossible for an ordinary person, but perhaps because there hadn't been such strenuous exercise as today, he survived by cultivating a little.

However, it was now beyond his endurance, and before he could react, his body collapsed onto the warm floor and he fell asleep.
