116: Blood Desire
Yacius fell to the ground in fear as he saw Ning, and Ning also saw him. Ning immediately smiled and began walking towards them.
Yacius left the group of four and ran in a completely different direction again. The four men stood there in fear, looking at the doctor in front of them.
The bald man with a blood-red spear and a terrifying face did not match what they were used to.
Ning didn't bother with the four men, directly teleporting to Yacius and kicking him in the chest. Yacius flew uncontrollably to the side, hitting a tree before falling to the ground.
Ning slowly rotated his spear as the blood on it flew to the side.
Then he started walking again.
Yacius stood up, saw him approaching, and looked around for his followers, but they were far away. In his carelessness, he had left them behind.
In desperation, he immediately took out 4 different beasts from his monster bag; besides the Iron Gorilla and Green Death Mantis, he had also managed to tame a Blazing Tail Lion and a Poison Horn Rhino.
Ning looked at the four beasts and smiled. None of them had surpassed the fifth Qi Condensation Kingdom. In fact, even Yacius himself was only in the sixth Qi Condensation realm.
“This is easy,” Ning thought, then walked forward.
The Iron Gorilla charged forward to attack, but Ning merely used a True Spear Attack to immediately destroy part of the gorilla's head, killing it.
The Mantis rushed at him with its scythe-like arms and attacked him.
Ning simply grabbed both scythes with his bare hands. It cut his palms, but not enough to worry him.
Another True Spear Attack, and it also died in the end.
The Rhino charged at him with its horn. Ning did not give way; instead, he ducked to dodge the horn but attacked the rhino with his shoulder.
Instead, the rhino was thrown backward and fell onto its back. It couldn't get up again and began flailing its legs in the air, trying to flip over.
With its belly exposed, Ning easily killed the monster. Then, he used an Air Cutter to sever the rhino's horn from its base, levitated it in the air with Telepathy, and then struck it hard with his spear.
The horn flew towards Yacius, but the Blazing Tail Lion jumped in to protect him and was hit directly in the head instead.
The force of the blow wasn't enough to kill the lion, but the poison in the rhino horn was. Purple veins appeared on the lion's forehead as the poison began to spread throughout its body.
Soon, the lion foamed at the mouth and fell to the ground, dead.
Now there was only Ning and Yacius.
“What are you going to do now? Run away again and complain to your elders?” Ning mocked him.
“I-P-Please spare me. I’ll give you anything you want. My father is very rich. What do you want most? Money?” Yacius began to bargain for his life.
“Hmm… that’s tempting. However, I believe I can get something better from you right now,” Ning said.
“W-What?” Yacius asked.
“Your screams,” Ning said with an evil smile, and he cut Yacius’s thigh.
“Ah!” Yacius cried out in pain as blood soaked his entire thigh within seconds.
“That’s not the sound I want to hear,” Ning said, making another cut above it at a different angle.
Yacius screamed even louder.
“Just like that,” Ning said. His bloodlust was higher than ever before.
Soon, he made 3 more cuts on Yacius’s thigh. The sounds he made were incredible.
Ning wasn’t even sure if people could make such loud sounds.
“Ah!” When the sound stopped, he was ecstatic.
Hmm. He looked down and saw that Yacius had fainted. He knelt down and slapped him a few times, then woke him up. As soon as he woke up, he cried out once more and started to faint again.
“Sigh, System, heal him,” he said.
Suddenly, all the wounds on Yacius’s body healed within seconds. Feeling the pain disappear, Yacius looked at his body.
“What—what happened?” he asked.
“Nothing, I just healed you,” Ning said.
“Why y—” Before Yacius could finish the sentence, another cut appeared on his body.
“Because you fainted. I want to hear more screams,” Ning said. Realizing what had happened, Yacius fainted again.
“What? Hey, wake up!” Ning slapped him a few more times, but he didn’t wake up again.
“Ah, screw it,” he thought, swinging his spear from right to left, beheading Yacius with a single swing. Blood spurted from the headless stump, and the body fell to the ground.
He heard screams from elsewhere. “Hmm… Oh, right, those guys,” Ning thought, looking at the 4 attendants. He walked over to them and looked at their terrified state.
“You guys know who I am, don’t you?” he asked.
“Yes, yes. You are Doctor Ning, a volunteer for the Doctors’ Association.
We’ve also been in line for your massage,” one of them said.
Ning smiled an evil smile.
“N-No, please don’t kill us. W-We didn’t do anything. We were just doing a job, and he’s already dead. Please let us go. I promise we won’t tell anyone anything. We’ll go to another City on a scattered island,” the men began to beg for their lives.
“Aish, that’s good, but unfortunately, I can’t trust you anymore.
