66: Removing armor

The Chief was sent back to the beach by the snake's tail. As soon as he landed on the beach, he immediately used his movement skills and started running forward, back towards the snake.

The snake's body began to show signs of redness and swelling from countless small bleeding wounds. It seemed to have difficulty moving its head violently. So, it only attacked with its tail.

The Chief had lost his spear a while ago and was now fighting mostly with his claws.

“Chief, our people are starting to get injured,” someone said from beside him while attacking the snake.

“What?” The Chief was surprised. He hadn't noticed, but at some point, his people had stopped attacking due to physical pain. The Chief didn't understand why, but the demon was much stronger than before.

“Tell the others to take the injured back,” the Chief said to the man. However, the man didn't respond. When the Chief stopped attacking and turned to look at the man, he only saw the demon's tail where he had been.

The man had been attacked while they were talking and sent flying a long distance.

“Oh, no,” he was now starting to realize that the situation was more serious than ever before. Previously, even with just a dozen or so people, they could match the demon. The demon would injure them a little, and they would injure the demon a little.

It was an equal exchange of damage, and neither side truly won any battle. This was why they could never let the demon leave the island, and why the demon couldn't let them leave the island.

But now the situation was different; the demon was winning, and if they didn't act quickly, only extinction awaited them.

“This is terrible.” Just as he thought, he was sent back to the shore again. This time, he truly felt the pain from the monster's attack, and it was much more intense than before.

Even so, the Chief stood up and looked at the dozen or so people lying on the ground in pain. Thankfully, no one seemed to be bleeding.

“Everyone, if you can stand up, leave this place immediately. The demon is stronger than before, and staying here is too dangerous,” the Chief shouted. “Help them,” he said to those who could walk.

“What do we do now, Chief?” someone asked.

“We weren't prepared for this boss. This monster is too strong,” another person said.

“I know,” the Chief shouted in frustration, “Where is Inikaka? He should be able to help us.”

They looked around and found Ning and Heisi in the distance. Just as he was about to call him, Ning's body fell to the ground, his arms and limbs limp. Everyone who saw this was terrified.

“What happened? Was he hit?” The Chief shouted as he ran towards Heisi. However, before he could get there, Ning's body disappeared, which shocked him even more.

“Has Inikaka abandoned us?” The people began to become afraid.

“Uh… I'm right here.” Ning shouted from the stone in Shay's hand, leaving the human body. The mental pain from the different technique was more intense than before.

“What is going on?” the Chief asked.

“Everyone listen to me,” Ning said, “Heisi is going to throw me at the snake. I know a way to stop it from using its defense. You guys take your time attacking it, okay?”

“Defense? The snake has a defense too?” The Chief was greatly surprised.

“Yes, but don't worry. Let me handle it. You just attack.” Ning said. He thought, alas, I will lose a lot of energy because of this.

“Alright, I'll see you all after the victory. Heisi, throw me.” Ning said.

Heisi stretched his arm back as far as possible, then smoothly threw the stone towards the snake. Several other people attracted the snake's attention, so it didn't see the stone approaching.

As soon as the stone approached the snake, Ning activated the technique: Parasite.

His consciousness transferred from the rock to the snake, and suddenly, for Ning, the entire world became much larger.

“Oh my god,” he thought. The snake had always been half underwater, so he couldn't see its actual size. But now that he was living inside the snake's body, he could finally see that in length alone, the snake was over 40 meters long, with only a small part of its body exposed above the water.

He tried to look around but couldn't see anything. The only places he could see were the snake's eyes and mouth. Everywhere else was a hazy mist. This was the mist he needed to get rid of.

He looked through the snake's eyes to see what it was looking at and saw the group of Villagers with their spears ready, waiting for his command.

“Go for it,” he shouted as loudly as he could, using all his strength to produce this sound.

“Ah ah ah ah!” All those who could move ran towards the snake to attack, with the Chief taking the lead. Not a single person remained, except for those injured who were already unable to move.

On the other hand, Ning activated the Yin to Yang Conversion technique. “Ah!” his already injured mind became even more painful. Although the requirements of this technique were insignificant compared to Qi Analysis, using it during a headache truly hurt him.

He could slowly feel the Yin energy around the snake disappearing and turning into hot energy. So, he looked out to see if it was working.

He saw it. The mist began to slowly disappear, giving way to the world around him. His plan had worked.
