126: These four questions

"What? What's wrong with me?" Ning was instantly terrified. Due to the amplification of fear, the first thing he instinctively did was to be scared.

However, he quickly wiped away the emotions on himself and began to think logically.

"What is this? How did I get this? Why did I get this?" He asked the basic questions one would ask about any medical procedure.

What is this?

He tried to think. His aging hand was like the zombie in front of him. All the way to decay and wrinkles. It was also slowly moving up his arm, hurting like hell. The sight and pain in his arm reminded him of something.

"Unique Yin."

This was the same feeling Ning would get every time he took unique Yin from different women and cleared it.

He had healed dozens of women in the past two months and clearly knew what it looked and felt like.

So, in short, the answer to his first question was that this was unique Yin. It was moving from his hand, almost rotting everything in its way.

How did I get this?

The unique Yin was not on him when it first arrived.

Ning turned to look at the woman again, to see if she was the cause of this, like all the previous women.

However, there was nothing on her, neither a big belly nor a rotting body to prove she was the cause. So, Ning concluded that this came from the person in front of him.

As for how it actually happened, he had a good idea.

He touched the zombie to check its heartbeat, and at that moment, it had transferred the unique Yin to him.

Therefore, the answer to the second question was that it was transferred through touch. The woman had not yet been touched by the zombie, so this was further proof.

Why did I get this?

This was what Ning was most confused about. Unique Yin was something he was now accustomed to using. So, he had also tried it many times.

He found that unless the amount of Yin was as massive as when it came out of those women's bellies, a person's body had a natural barrier to keep it out.

Without a large amount of Qi, it should not have entered his body. However, he could see how much Yin was on his arm now, and despite that, it was still raging.

This could only mean that the Yin was somewhat unusual now, or... his body was somewhat unusual.

Ning's eyes widened.

"Yang Festering Bugs," he exclaimed in surprise. This was the only difference about him. He had Yang Festering Bugs.

In fact...

Ning's face went dry as he realized what was happening.

"The entire City has it... If they come into contact with Yin... Everyone in the City will turn into zombies," he whispered.

The answer to the third question was that he got it because he lacked Yang, which would naturally protect a person's body from this small amount of Yin.

"This is a coordinated attack. Whoever spread the bugs knew that this would not only be enough to create panic, but also to create a vulnerable population that could become zombies.

This was someone's dirty trick.

"But who? First, one must have a high level of cultivation base to tame beasts. So this couldn't be ordinary people," Ning thought.

There was also the problem of Yin. As far as he knew, only women with big bellies could produce them, and he had already cured all of them.

"Wait, no. Not all. These girls are not just the ones cultivating this technique. The true source of the cultivation technique, the place where most people cultivate this technique is..."

The Eagle Sect.

This dilapidated sect looked like no one cared for it, but there were disciples inside. Ning had been curious about this sect for a long time, but due to its appearance, he didn't pay much attention to it.

"High-level cultivators, and the source of Yin..."

It fit perfectly.

Both Kaezir and Ning had mistakenly believed that the Mist Origin Sect was behind the attack, or at least someone from the Mist Origin Sect. However, it turned out that it was actually the strange and mysterious Eagle Sect.

"What happened? Why would they attack this City and innocent people?" Ning wondered. However, he couldn't think of anything.

At first, he thought that this must be the reason he killed those innocent people, hiding something from everyone. However, if everyone knew something so important, then he would also know, and he knew nothing.

"There must be another agenda here," he thought.

The woman began to cry at some point. Ning could do nothing about it. Even if he had the system, he couldn't bring her deceased husband back.

"The only thing I can do now is to do what I've been doing for the past few months."

He had figured out the answers to the what? how? and why? questions. So, he naturally asked the next question in the sequence. A question every doctor asks themselves.

How do I fix this?

A small buzzing sound came out of nowhere. The rotten, dilapidated hand was slowly returning to its original self, as the sounds continuously stacked together, slowly growing louder.

He used the Yin Sound Conversion Technique.

He walked up to the lady and the corpse, touching both of them as the Yin left their bodies, and increased the sound he was making.

The answer to the last question was here. He intended to take all the Yin onto himself and then destroy it.
