103: Hospitalization
“You’re really something. You brag all day about how awesome you are, but you ambushed such a delicate young girl and got beaten up like this.”
Kim Ji-yoon truly despised Kim Min-joon. Ambushing someone, and a young girl at that—she was too embarrassed to even go visit him.
Kim’s mother saw her son with his head bowed, not daring to look up, and sighed, “Ji-yoon, that’s enough.”
“Mom, I showed him the photos, and Ji-soo even said she had a schedule this afternoon and to talk another day, but he insisted on dragging her away.”
Kim Ji-yoon actually thought he got off lightly. Others might not understand what a comeback means, but their family runs an entertainment company—he was a pure idiot.
“I didn’t see her photos.”
“Okay, you didn’t, but Kim Jennie said they were in the middle of their comeback, right? Are you selectively ignoring that?”
Kim Min-joon was on the verge of tears. “I saw Ji-soo come to the hospital and thought something was wrong with her. I was so anxious I didn’t think about anything else!”
“I…,”
“Enough! Go apologize later. This beating wasn’t for nothing.” Kim’s father had never met Xu Zhiyou, but he knew her background was very strong.
“I’m not going!”
After learning the truth, Kim Min-joon wasn't angry; instead, he felt a bit guilty and wished he could avoid Xu Zhiyou. How could he possibly go to her house?
“You’d best go, or you’ll break a few more bones.”
“Dad, Zoe won’t strike again, I guarantee that.” Kim Ji-yoon had heard her younger sister talk about Xu Zhiyou’s character many times; in short, she was very magnanimous.
“Zoe won’t, but what about her family? Isn’t everyone a little princess in their own home? Is it only your sister who’s noble, huh?”
“Uh?” Kim Ji-yoon thought about Xu Wen’s demeanor, then turned to Kim Min-joon and said, “You’d better go apologize!”
That was a super sister-con right there. Moreover, people are inherently biased. Even if Xu Zhiyou was in the wrong, Xu Wen wouldn’t let anyone who laid a hand on her younger sister off the hook.
Seeing his family’s reaction, Kim Min-joon was a little suspicious. “Is she very powerful?”
“Untraceable. Her identity is top secret.” Kim’s father was succinct.
“I’ll go!”
The four words “identity top secret” were enough. Many things didn’t need to be said so clearly. If it’s embarrassing, then it’s embarrassing, sigh!
… …
On Xu Zhiyou’s side, Kim Ji-soo didn’t argue after being choked by Park Chaeyoung. This matter was impossible to judge right or wrong; it was purely a misunderstanding.
Speaking of which, it was a bit embarrassing. She usually threatened her with her older brother, but he was knocked out in a few moves at first sight. It was unbearable to watch.
“Zoe, my Oppa has been in seclusion since he found out the whole story, sigh!”
“Show Ge, that was an accident. Why didn’t you say anything? We were fighting, but we didn’t seal your mouths. I thought you two were dragged in for… you know, I was in a hurry. Hehe~”
“Yah! You… I…” Kim Jennie’s face flushed red upon hearing that. She stammered for a long time, unable to get a word out. She was still an innocent maiden.
“That’s right, Dumpling Ni, next time you go out, remember to report it. If something like this happens again, I’ll expel myself from the group. I can’t afford to provoke, but I can afford to hide.”
“We promise, it will absolutely not happen again!” Kim Jennie didn’t doubt it.
“Yah! You’re saying that again.” Park Chaeyoung flicked her forehead. Xu Zhiyou at this moment was not to be underestimated.
“Hiss~ You’re really getting bold!”
“Here’s another one for you, hahaha, that feels great! I’ll flick you again.”
“Park Chaeyoung, do you want to die? Try hitting me again?”
“Try me, try me!” She hit her head a few more times. If she didn’t beat her back now, she wouldn’t have another chance later.
“Yah!”
“Tsk! Nyeh nyeh nyeh~”
“Park~ Chae~ Young!”
The other three stayed far away from Park Chaeyoung. Xu Zhiyou was injured, not crippled. Was she really trying to get herself in trouble by playing like this?
Seeing their terrified expressions, she felt exceptionally disdainful. A brave person should dare to face the darkness. Little Xu Zhiyou, easily handled.
“You’ll regret missing this opportunity.”
Lisa thought that was right, too. She went up and tugged Xu Zhiyou’s ear, getting revenge for old grudges.
Xu Zhiyou was truly a tiger fallen into the plains, bullied by dogs. Every move caused her pain, so she could only endure it. “Yah! Lalisa, Park Chaeyoung, you two are really something~”
Kim Jennie and Kim Ji-soo just watched. They were having fun now, but they didn’t know what kind of trouble they’d be in later. It was better to be well-behaved.
After a round of revenge, Xu Zhiyou glared fiercely at Lisa. That girl actually attacked her chest and touched her butt. She, Xu, was being molested.
“Stare again, and I’ll dig out your eyeballs!”
Lisa stood with her hands on her hips, pointing at Xu Zhiyou and speaking impolitely. After speaking, the corners of her mouth curled up, indicating she was in a very good mood.
“Lisa, this is a bit too much.” Park Chaeyoung didn’t expect Lisa to be even braver than her.
“It’s fine! Anyway, I’ve already offended her, so I might as well offend her completely. At least I had fun.”
“That’s not an excuse for you to take advantage of her. Where were your hands going?” Park Chaeyoung at most flicked a few foreheads, but Lisa was all over her.
“Jisoo, let’s go out first! Otherwise, we’ll get implicated.” Kim Jennie truly couldn’t help but be impressed by Lisa’s actions.
“As expected of Lalisa, who only lives for today. Tsk tsk tsk.” Kim Ji-soo also couldn’t help but be impressed.
“Lalisa, you’re really something. I’ll remember you.” Xu Zhiyou made a mental note, to deal with her after she recovered.
“You two, that’s enough. Be careful not to pull the wound.” Leah returned after understanding the situation and saw this scene.
She had arrived early but saw Park Chaeyoung and Lisa beating her, so she simply watched the show from outside the door for a while. She even wanted to go in and flick her a few times.
“Leah Unnie~” Kim Ji-soo and the other four stood up to greet her.
“Sit down!” She turned to Xu Zhiyou and said, “Have you told your family?”
“No need. It’s just a fractured shoulder blade and a few scrapes. I’ll be fine in a few weeks.” Having grown up getting beaten, she was thick-skinned.
Besides, her older sister couldn’t easily go abroad now. With her position, overseas travel required strict approval.
“That’s a shoulder blade! A simple twist can hurt for days. And you call those several bloody gashes ‘a few scrapes’? Can you not pretend to be tough?” Park Chaeyoung rolled her eyes.
“You’re really something. Even if it was the situation you thought it was, didn’t you know to call the police? You rushed in to get yourself served up!”
Leah came over after understanding the situation, feeling both admiration for her courage and extreme exasperation. Her head was all muscle.
She casually brushed it off, saying, “Be careful next time!”
The police station here was just for show. That thing was only good for scaring ordinary people. Anyway, she only trusted her own iron fist.
“You should still tell your family. You’ll need at least one or two months to recover; you can’t hide it.”
“It’s really nothing!”
After this incident, she knew that there were indeed experts protecting her. The first person she kicked unconscious was understandable.
But the second person’s punch was clearly off, not hitting any vital points, yet the opponent still lost their fighting ability.
There was only one possibility: someone helped her.
