94: A chaotic relationship

“Chaeyoung, you need to be firmer, this isn’t going to work!” Kim Ji-soo looked at Park Chaeyoung’s gluttonous expression and shook her head helplessly.

“I can’t take it anymore. At worst, I’ll go for a run later. I’ll just eat a few bites first.” Park Chaeyoung made her final defense.

“Exactly. Eating small, frequent meals and exercising more is better than anything else. Come on, you two should also have some. Suzy Unnie is treating, so isn’t it rude not to accept?”

Comeback periods are the most exhausting. Eating only greens all day and relying on supplements for trace elements—even iron couldn't withstand such abuse.

“Show Ge, open your mouth, ah~” Xu Zhiyou fed Kim Ji-soo and then went to feed Kim Jennie, “Come on, Dumpling, you have a bite too!”

“Isn’t it delicious! Have some more.”

“Give it to Jisoo, I’m full.” Kim Jennie quickly dodged. If she ate any more, she wouldn’t be able to sleep tonight and would have to run all night.

“I’m full too.”

“Alright then, I’ll eat it myself!” Seeing this, Xu Zhiyou didn’t force them and began to feast herself.

Lim Yoona and Bae Suzy exchanged glances, neither speaking, but the understanding and resonance in their eyes were self-evident.

…

After eating and getting home, she checked the time; it was already one in the morning. “Go wash up and sleep, this old lady is exhausted.”

“Sleep? No, I need to exercise. I ate a bit too much.” Park Chaeyoung felt uncomfortable. The more she indulged earlier, the more she suffered now.

“I’m not bothering with you guys, I’m going to sleep. I’m too old to keep up with you young people.”

“Crazy!”

The next day, her new song topped the trending searches. Yang Hyun-suk told her to do a live broadcast to talk about it, but she had no experience with this, and awkward small talk was just too embarrassing.

“Show Ge, Show Ge, quickly, save me!”

“What’s wrong with you again?”

“Stop messing with your wardrobe! Don’t you usually like live streaming? The CEO wants me to do a live broadcast, but I’ve never done it before, and I’m a bit shy.”

Kim Ji-soo seemed to have heard the biggest joke. The word 'shy' coming from Xu Zhiyou’s mouth was truly a sight to behold.

“Are you kidding? You’re shy? I’m afraid the viewers will be made shy by you, that’s more like it!”

Kim Ji-soo pushed her away and continued to organize her clothes. After a long time, they needed to be taken out and aired, otherwise they would smell musty.

“Aren’t you afraid I’ll mess up my words?”

“I almost forgot about that. When are you starting the live broadcast?”

“It can start now!”

On Kim Ji-soo’s computer, she quickly logged into her account. Although she had never done a live broadcast, she had learned by watching Kim Ji-soo do it.

The first thing she did was disable the tipping function. Some live streaming platforms are a bit of a rip-off, taking 30% of tipping revenue, and she didn't want to be a sucker.

“Hello, everyone!”

“Am I that bad? Why are there only thirty thousand viewers?” She opened her phone and logged into her Instagram account to see how many people followed her.

“Show Ge, how many followers do you have on Instagram?”

“Over eighteen million. You have over twenty-six million.”

“Then why are there so few viewers for the live broadcast? I remember you once had eighty thousand as soon as you started, am I that much of a noob?”

“I broadcasted at night, and you’re doing this first thing in the morning. People are busy working, they don’t have time to watch you. Can watching you fill them up or something? Hurry up, once you’re done with the main topic, I need to tidy my wardrobe.”

“You do the broadcast. It’s just this matter, you already know about it, and you’re good at this. I can’t sit still.”

“You sit down! You’ve already started the broadcast, and people have joined. If you just dump it on me and run off, aren’t you afraid of being struck by lightning?!”

“I’m broadcasting now, hmph~”

Clicking in, they saw two beautiful women bickering, and many interesting comments often appeared in the bullet chat.

“What happened? Why is no one paying attention to us? Here, family, we’re here!”

A thoughtful fan explained what had just happened—what about 'face,' what about 'starting a live broadcast and then running off'—which greatly amused the audience.

“This is Jisoo’s room, why is Zoe broadcasting here? Could it be, hehe~”

“Upstairs, we’re the same. I thought I was the only one thinking that.”

“This isn’t right, what about my Rose? They just successfully held hands last night, and now she’s being dumped? This is too much of a jerk.”

…

Kim Ji-soo saw more and more people joining. It was a bit inappropriate to just leave them hanging without speaking, so she pulled over a gaming chair, pressed Xu Zhiyou onto it, and started interacting with fans.

“Yeorobun~”

“Jisoo’s smile is so healing, she looks so gentle, I really want to take her home.”

“Upstairs, I’m more greedy. I want both of them. It’s another day of being struck by beauty.”

“Jisoo’s Peninsula accent is too cute! This is her bare face, her skin is so fair~”

“Superficial! The song! Quickly ask her about the song. After asking about the song, then you can fawn over her. Do the important stuff first, don’t interrupt.”

…

Kim Ji-soo poked Xu Zhiyou. Wasn’t her little mouth usually quite chatty? Why was she silent now? “Speak up, are you mute?!”

“No, I’m looking at the bullet chat.”

“The ring on Show Ge’s hand was given to her by her wife. Which year was it, I forgot? I definitely don’t have one. They are the true love, I’m just a passerby.”

“Who is her wife? Of course, it’s Dumpling, uh, no, it’s Jennie baby.”

“Me? Of course, I don’t have one. Those are their tokens of love. Can she give it to me? So those of you shipping couples, you need to ship the right people.”

“Why do I call her Dumpling? Haven’t you noticed? Her face is like Crayon Shin-chan, a dumpling face. I just got used to calling her that.”

Kim Ji-soo took out the pendant hanging around her neck. “What is this? If I remember correctly, Jennie gave this to you, right?!”

“Yes, but yours is a ring, can it be the same? Don’t be jealous, I won’t fight you for it, don’t worry!”

“I’m jealous of your head.” She turned to the camera and said, “Don’t believe her nonsense. Ever since she came, Jennie hasn’t loved me anymore. They are the real couple.”

“See, see? Still saying you’re not jealous? I only borrowed it to play with for a while back then, and I gave it back to you, didn’t I? So stingy.”

The live stream was full of question marks.

“Is this explosive content something we’re allowed to hear?”

“Listen and cherish it, because soon it might be shut down for sensitive content, and then we won’t be able to watch.”

“An incident caused by Jennie’s ownership. Jennie has some things going on, she’s managed to corrupt two high-value visuals in the group.”

“Indeed, I don’t even know who to envy. These three definitely have something going on. One has a pendant around her neck, one has a ring on her hand, and the key is that they both wear them close to their bodies.”

“Then what about my Rose? The only woman in BLACKPINK, is no one going to want her?”

“It’s too messy, their relationships are too messy, it makes my head spin.”

…

“Too lazy to argue with you, continue the broadcast. What were you going to say? I still need to tidy my wardrobe.”

She glanced at the bullet chat in the live stream and almost went weak in the knees, nearly falling over on the spot. What the hell was all this?!
