38: Shooting completed

“You can’t even mop the floor properly.”

“If you can do it, you go. It’s easy to talk when you’re standing. Why didn’t you say anything when you stepped on me?”

She only thought of giving her the title of ‘Australian Floor Queen,’ a move the audience loved, but she overlooked the fact that she was a woman with long hair, which could easily get stepped on.

“I’m just saying, is this move absolutely necessary? I’m mopping the floor down here, and you’re all jumping around on me. It’s a bit much!”

“That’s your unique characteristic. In the future, when people mention BLACKPINK, fans will immediately think of Rose, the Australian Floor Queen. It’s very memorable, don’t you think?”

“You’re the Floor Queen! That title doesn’t sound good. I don’t want it.”

“Well, I’m the YG Honey Badger, and I’ve accepted it. What are you complaining about? Just take it!”

Park Chaeyoung thought about it, and it was true. It was better than Honey Badger, right? Forget it, Floor Queen it is.

“But when you keep stepping on me, it really hurts, okay?”

“That’s because the move isn’t skillful yet. It’ll get better after a few more steps!”

“Ah! You’re not the one being stepped on, so of course you don’t care.” Park Chaeyoung really wanted to thank her; it sounded like many more floor-mopping moves awaited her in the future.

She had to avoid being stepped on while also performing dance moves and singing, which made her expressions change constantly on camera.

Looking at the ruffled Park Chaeyoung, it wasn't her who stepped on her, and this dance move was her characteristic, so it couldn't be removed.

“Only you can do this move. Look how envious they are of you. Lisa wanted to do it, but I didn’t give her the chance.”

Lisa pouted. Who would want to do that? Dragging around on the floor, if you step on flesh, you can react and move away in time.

But when you step on hair, there’s no feeling at all. Every time, it’s Park Chaeyoung screaming, and then they realize they’ve stepped on her hair. It looks painful.

“Are you really trying to fool me like I’m an idiot? Look at their expressions; do they look like they want to do it?”

Park Chaeyoung really felt like saying “thank you, next.” At least come up with a more decent excuse. Every time, it’s so perfunctory. Does she look that stupid?

The crew members loved watching them bicker every day. After filming so many music videos, their favorite group was still these five.

Many groups are harmonious on the surface but not in their hearts, just putting on an act all day. These five were practically ready to fight with bricks.

There was a warm atmosphere amidst the noisy. One moment they were arguing fiercely, the next they were discussing what to eat, making them quite an unusual group.

“What can we do? Dumpling Ni can’t do it, Lisa’s singing breath isn’t as stable as yours, and Show Ge can’t either. Besides you, who else can do it?”

“You!”

“If I took your floor-mopping move, my conscience wouldn’t rest. Be good, mop your floor well, and strive to get the title of ‘Australian Floor Queen’ soon.”

“Pfft~”

The three of them on the side watched Park Chaeyoung’s frustrated expression and Xu Zhiyou’s words, which sounded like she was coaxing a child. They almost couldn’t hold back their laughter.

The staff were also quite speechless with this director. She didn’t want to do it herself but spouted a bunch of grand theories to trick others into doing it.

The most important thing was the classic “I’m doing this for your own good.” Anyone who encountered such a big sucker would be confused.

“Ah!”

“Everything is for the team’s service, you forgot? Hold it in!”

Hearing this, she grimaced, hugged a pillow, and pounded it hard. After she vented her anger, she drooped her head and continued mopping the floor.

“Still laughing? Show Ge and Lisa, you two stepped on her the most. Be careful, next time I choreograph, I’ll let you two experience it.”

“No, no, no! This dance move just needs one representative. We can try other things.” Kim Ji-soo quickly waved her hands. She couldn’t do that at all.

“Then do a flying person, hang from a wire a few hundred meters up, or a giant pendulum, roller coasters, and such.” It would be strange if Park Chaeyoung let go of such a good opportunity. Her mind was working faster than ever.

“That works! Arrange those for all three of them. Why should Chaeyoung suffer alone? That’s fair, right?”

“Exactly, why should I be the only one to suffer? Those three, ah! How did you take yourself out of it again? You have to go too.”

“Go, go, go. Do you think I’d be afraid of that? I don’t even frown when bungee jumping. A mere roller coaster is nothing.”

“Tch! I don’t believe you. I remember you’re afraid of heights, aren’t you? You don’t even dare to look outside when flying. If you don’t go then, I’ll look down on you.”

“Then look down on me! I really don’t dare to go.”

“Ah! Do you have no shame? Shameless.”

She showed her a mouth full of white teeth. “See if I have teeth, how white and good-looking they are. Envious?”

“Get lost, I don’t want to talk to you.”

Park Chaeyoung couldn’t beat her before, and now with several more layers of protection, she had even less recourse, so she could only draw a circle on the side and curse her.

“Why are you squatting on the ground? What are you doing?”

“Drawing a circle to curse you, can’t I?”

“Uh? Idiot!”

“Ah!”

“Are you still going to film? If not, I’ll change, uh! I can’t change people. How about I find you a stand-in? Someone like you is only fit to go home and cry on your mother’s leg.”

“I’ll kill you, you bastard!” If she could tolerate that, she wouldn’t be Park Chaeyoung, who was strong her whole life.

She turned and ran, maintaining a distance that made her feel like she could catch up but never quite could, letting her release her negative emotions before filming again.

Being stepped on constantly, it was normal to be annoyed. She couldn’t always let people bottle it up; letting it out was good. But damn it, she wasn’t the one who stepped on her.

Why should she be responsible for this? Being a leader was truly difficult. Looking at Park Chaeyoung lying on the ground, breathing heavily, she asked, “Did you get it out?”

“No, who told you I was fit to go home and cry? You owe me for emotional damages.”

The fact that she could say that proved she had truly vented her anger. “Lie down for a bit, then get up and continue filming. We’re short on time and don’t have time to waste with you.”

“We’ll talk about filming later. You compensated Jennie-oni with dozens of solo songs. I don’t want too many, just twenty, how about that?”

“Who told you that? The two of you together aren’t worth anything. Dozens of songs at the drop of a hat, where do you get the nerve to say that?”

“Ah! You two talk about yourselves, why bring me into it?”

“Who told you to lead with such shamelessness? When we get back, I’ll arrange the complete collection of ghost stories for you.”

“You dare?”

“See if I dare. It’s just that I don’t have time right now, otherwise I’d give you some underworld music on the spot. How about we take a break and I play you a piece?”

“Eww!” She remembered the creepy things she used to play. They were too unsettling.

She ran over and dragged Park Chaeyoung back to continue filming. “No need, let’s film quickly! We’re running out of time.”

“Jennie-oni, I’m not afraid of those things. Why are you pulling me? Let me rest for a bit first.”

“I know where you hide your snacks. You’d better listen to me, or I’ll eat them all.”

“Uh!” That trick was very effective on her. Snacks were her lifeblood. She could be beaten up, but her snacks couldn’t be touched.

Kim Ji-soo and Lisa exchanged glances and went about their own business. The war had spread to Kim Jennie, and they were afraid of being called out, so it was better to mind their own business.

“Tch! Four cowards.”

The four pretended not to hear. Xu Zhiyou learned and filmed simultaneously, finally producing the music video. This was only possible because fragments kept popping into her mind.

Otherwise, she really couldn’t have filmed it. She didn’t expect directing skills to pop out for her. This was good; it seemed she was truly destined to be a director.

It was mid-May, two months before their debut. They needed to practice dancing, and stepping on Park Chaeyoung during their performance would greatly affect the visual experience.
