202: Expose each other's secrets
"Anything is fine," Park Sandara casually agreed, then pulled Xu Zhiyou to sit aside.
She pulled out drafts from her bag and shoved them all into Xu Zhiyou's hands: "Help me take a look."
Xu Zhiyou looked at the crumpled papers in her hand: "Dara Unnie, what did you do to the paper?"
"None of that matters." She pulled out a sheet, smoothed it open, and showed her the contents. "Here, look at this first."
Just by looking at the handwriting, Xu Zhiyou thought it looked like chicken scratches and couldn't be bothered to read it: "Just tell me verbally. Looking at this will hurt my eyes."
"Are you saying my handwriting is ugly?"
"Not really. I just don't want to do archaeology. It's the same if you just tell me your ideas. Achieving the goal is what matters."
"Ya!"
"Pfft, hahahaha~~" Lee Chae-rin laughed so hard she couldn't straighten up, walking over to pat her shoulder.
"Unnie, I told you to practice your handwriting. Do you believe me now?"
"I'm over thirty, what's there to practice?" She pulled out a sheet, glanced at it, and indeed it was quite messy. "I'll read it to you."
"Go ahead."
"Uh... this, this." Park Sandara scratched the back of her head, looking shy. "It's a bit embarrassing, haha!"
"You... Sigh!" Xu Zhiyou sighed and took the paper from her hand. "If I dilly-dally with you any longer, Chaeyoung will have eaten all the food."
Park Chaeyoung kicked her leg: "Are you sick? The food isn't even here yet, where am I supposed to eat?"
"Be careful, I'll break your leg." After saying that, she started reading seriously. "Oh my, you even composed the melody. What do you need me for?"
"That was just a small section I wrote when inspiration struck; I haven't even finished the lyrics, so how could I have the energy to compose a melody?"
"True. Otherwise, you wouldn't be pulling your hair out." She chatted and read, and the food was served just as she finished.
She grabbed her chopsticks and started to dip duck intestines: "Eat first. I'll tell you after I'm full."
Park Chaeyoung had just put down her chopsticks when Xu Zhiyou scooped everything away: "Leave some for me!"
"Isn't there more over there? Just keep dipping." She took a bite. "Bliss!"
Park Chaeyoung gave her a disgusted look: "You're going to starve to death. All you do is eat."
"Chaeyoung, you're not much better." Lisa put a chopstick-full of tripe into her bowl. "Just eat."
"Exactly!" Xu Zhiyou reached with her chopsticks and took the tripe from Park Chaeyoung's bowl. "Wait for the next pot."
Park Chaeyoung's eyes widened, looking at her in disbelief: "That was from my bowl."
Xu Zhiyou blew on it, then gulped it down in one go, chewing a few times before slowly saying: "It's fine, I don't mind you."
"Aish!" Park Chaeyoung truly couldn't stand it anymore. She picked up the spoon from the side of the pot, intending to hit her.
Kim Ji-soo quickly snatched the spoon from her hand: "Chaeyoung, be careful not to end up on the clothes rack. Calm down, you must calm down."
"Pfft~" Park Sandara sprayed out the food she had eaten, looking at Xu Zhiyou in astonishment. "Zoe, did you really hang Chaeyoung on a rack before?"
"Don't talk nonsense. I only said it, I never actually did it." She shot a sidelong glance at Kim Ji-soo. "Show Ge, please don't ruin my reputation."
Kim Jennie put a large chopstick-full into her bowl: "Eat your food!"
Xu Zhiyou gave her a thumbs-up: "At critical moments, Little Jennie is still reliable. I give you a thumbs up."
Then she pushed the food in her bowl, took two bites: "It's a bit overcooked, but still acceptable."
"I wonder who it was last time who cooked garland chrysanthemum until it looked like a matcha milkshake, saying that she was old and her teeth weren't good, and she just loved that taste. Hmph!" Park Chaeyoung really fell for her nonsense.
"That was an accident." Thinking of something, "I wonder who it was last time who was so stubborn, saying she could eat super spicy food, and ended up spitting out coke because of the spice."
Park Chaeyoung slapped the table: "Ya! Didn't we agree not to bring that up!"
"Who told you to expose my old secrets first?" Xu Zhiyou stood up, rolled up her sleeves. "Come, come, let me show you the eighteen ways to die from eating spicy food..."
Park Chaeyoung truly couldn't tolerate it for a second. Not only did she say it, but she also helped her recall it: "Aish, are you done or not? You're even acting it out!"
"This is called reenactment..."
Park Chaeyoung wasn't as thick-skinned as her, and what's more, there were two seniors present, so she really couldn't take it anymore.
"I give up, I surrender, okay?"
"It would have saved so much trouble if you had done that earlier." She sat down and continued eating. Park Chaeyoung pierced a yam with her chopsticks: "I'm going to stab you to death."
"Don't waste food."
"Mind your own business."
"..."
Park Sandara poked Kim Ji-soo, whispering in her ear: "Jisoo, are they always like this?"
"Uh!" Kim Ji-soo glanced at Xu Zhiyou and Park Chaeyoung, who were bickering, and silently nodded.
"Tsk tsk tsk, the YG inherited lack of authority for a leader, how tragic."
"It's not that bad, mainly because Zoe is really annoying sometimes, even I've wanted to hit her several times."
"Then why don't you hit her? Look at Chaeyoung's clenched fists, it feels like she's going to smash Zoe to smithereens any second."
"Can't beat her!" Kim Ji-soo spread her hands like a bear, and pouted, making Park Sandara fall silent.
"Haha, Jisoo, you're so humorous."
"Pfft~" Kim Jennie, who was eavesdropping on the side, sprayed all the food in her mouth onto Lisa.
"Ya! Jennie-oni, I was so quiet, why did I still get caught in the crossfire?"
"Mianhae, I didn't do it on purpose." She quickly pulled out a napkin to help wipe her off.
As she wiped, she explained: "You see, Zoe is to my right, the pot is in front, and I couldn't react in time behind me, so you understand, haha."
Lisa rolled her eyes: "So, I brought this upon myself by sitting on your left, huh? Sigh~"
Lee Chae-rin had been holding her phone and recording: "They act so cool on stage, like they're worth a fortune, who would have thought they're five clowns in private."
"Uh!!!" Kim Ji-soo felt so offended. She hadn't participated at all, so how did she get caught in the crossfire?
"Chae-rin Unnie, how could you be so mean?" Xu Zhiyou reached out to grab it, but the hot pot steam made her quickly shake her hand.
Park Chaeyoung poured iced plum juice on her hand: "Are you trying to die? Don't you know it's hot? Now you're a braised pig's trotters!"
"You're the pig's trotters! It just shrunk a bit because it was too hot, is that really necessary?"
"I'm really fed up. These are your piano-playing hands, can't you take better care of them?"
"First, snatch the phone. We were a bit too wild just now, we can't let that get out, otherwise, our image will suffer a devastating blow again."
She saw Lee Chae-rin operating her phone during their conversation, took out her own phone, and opened Instagram to check.
Seeing Lee Chae-rin's updated video, she handed it to Xu Zhiyou: "Here! It's already posted."
"I..." Xu Zhiyou really wanted to tie her mouth shut. She looked at Lee Chae-rin, "Chae-rin Unnie, is it really appropriate to ruin my image like this?"
"Aigoo, Zoe, your image is already ruined. Don't worry about these things. Anyway, your fans know what you're like, so relax."
"Haha!"
"Eat quickly, eat quickly, everything's getting overcooked."
