113: Zhao Meiyan was hit twice by mua

Cho Mi-yeon was bewildered by Minnie's behavior; just a moment ago she was on the verge of tears, and now she was smiling at her.

“Minnie, where did you learn that face-changing technique?”

“I learned it from Rainie!” Minnie blurted out without thinking.

Song Yuqi rolled her eyes behind her, “What do you mean you learned it from me? When did I acquire that skill? I don’t even know about it.”

“Never mind that for now, my autograph and poster! Meiyan Unnie, you said it would be no problem!” She looked at Cho Mi-yeon with wide, blinking eyes.

Cho Mi-yeon really wanted to reach out and pinch her cheek, but she held back. They had just met, and pinching her cheek wasn't appropriate.

“In a few days, I’ll go ask.” Other things might be difficult, but autographs and posters shouldn’t be a big problem.

“I love you most, Meiyan Unnie.”

She gave her a loud kiss on the cheek, and Cho Mi-yeon, not expecting Minnie to suddenly kiss her, didn't react for a moment.

“Hey, hey, hey! What about me? Am I not your favorite anymore?” Song Yuqi looked at Minnie with disdain. She called her a player, but she wasn't much better herself.

“I’ll love you next time.” After saying that, she went to listen to her song.

Song Yuqi saw Cho Mi-yeon, who was staring blankly with wide eyes. She was right, it was a bit inappropriate for them to be kissing after only knowing each other for a few days.

She walked to Cho Mi-yeon's other side and, while she wasn't paying attention, also gave her a kiss on the cheek, “Your Grandpa Song will give you one too.”

Whether it was appropriate or not, she didn't know. Cho Mi-yeon looked so adorable at that moment that she couldn't control her mouth.

Now Cho Mi-yeon was even more confused. Are they playing this big now?

After kissing her, Song Yuqi also walked over to Minnie's side and started watching the MV. Cho Mi-yeon covered her face and followed them.

“Wow! How long has it been? There are already over a hundred thousand comments.” Minnie skillfully opened the music app and saw the dense comments as soon as she clicked on it.

“Look at ‘Heaven.’ I like this song.” Cho Mi-yeon, being from the Peninsula, naturally preferred songs in the Peninsula language.

Minnie, on the other hand, preferred “Far Away From Home,” but since Cho Mi-yeon was helping her get an autograph, she definitely had to listen to her.

She clicked on the song and started scrolling through.

“I feel this song is very sad, with a sense of insincerity. Before I saw the lyrics, I always thought it was a sad song.”

“This song has a sense of redemption, like being in a place where you can't see your hand in front of your face, accustomed to the darkness, until your appearance. You are my dawn, the light that redeems me.”

“Yes, I do indeed feel a sense of redemption. It's like being pulled out of the darkness step by step, but then you quickly return to the darkness.”

“Her singing is so good, her voice is rich and soaring. I listened to all four of her songs, and there's no doubt, I'm truly impressed! A powerful singer!”

“I just love this kind of music. I always feel like some part of my body is erupting. A bit excited, as if searching for something, yet not knowing what I'm searching for…”

“This song really spoke to my heart!”

“I also especially like this one. The ethereal high notes of 'Heaven' at the beginning, followed by lyrics that go from low to high, like tugging at my heart. Then it dips again, and then rises, truly phenomenal singing.”

“These days, if you don't have some culture, you don't dare to leave a trace in the comment section. Oh my god! I need to study, I want to comment too.”

“Wuwuwu! Me too, I only know one line, ‘Holy crap, it’s good!’ I didn't expect the comment section to be so competitive now.”

…

Minnie also felt a bit insecure after reading them. She just simply thought it sounded good and wanted to listen to it. How did these people have so many insights?

She turned to Cho Mi-yeon and the other girl and asked, “Do you two feel that way?”

“Uh!” The two of them also just thought it sounded good; they didn't have that many insights.

Minnie saw their expressions and was relieved. Otherwise, where would her pride go? As long as it wasn't her problem, it was fine. She continued to scroll through comments on other songs.

Xu Zhiyou had been in a great mood these past two days. She specifically gave herself a day off and sat in the yard looking at the EP data.

She handled all the songs herself. Besides the 30% channel fee that was split out, all other profits were hers.

What others saw as data and achievements, she saw as small money. “Money, small money, it’s mine, all mine, wahahaha~”

It was just inconvenient, otherwise she would definitely roll around on the ground a few times. She finally didn't have to worry about not having small money to spend.

Although the copyright revenue from the previous few songs wasn't low, it was just a tiny bit, and she always felt uneasy. Now she could be a heroine again, so happy.

Jiang Ling saw the little money-grubber Xu Zhiyou and shook her head, smiling.

“Youyou, be careful not to pull your wound.” Jiang Ling saw her wiggling around and was afraid she would get too excited and pull her wound.

“It’s fine. As long as you give me money, I wouldn’t even make a sound if you stabbed me a few times.”

Jiang Ling helplessly rubbed her forehead. She was wondering what went wrong in which step, to raise such a little money-grubber.

Just as she was happy, her phone rang. She picked it up: Pei Baicai!

Initially, the note was Bae Da Tou, but later Bae Joo-hyun chased her down several streets, so she changed it to Pei Baicai.

“Yo-ho, you missed me!”

“Do you still have any limited edition albums? Give me another one. Silly Bear is driving me crazy.”

Kang Seul-gi had been pestering her every chance she got these past few days. She stared at her while she ate, stood by her bed while she slept, and even watched her brush her teeth.

She had hit her, she had cursed her, but it was useless. She had never seen anyone with such thick skin. Helpless, she could only solve the problem from the root.

“Is she crazy? Why doesn’t she come to me for it? Does she not know me? If she asked, would I not give it to her?…”

Bae Joo-hyun, seeing her ramble on endlessly, quickly stopped her, “Stop! How would I know? You go ask her yourself.”

“Too lazy to ask. You go get it from Show Ge; she’s keeping it.”

Ever since Bae Joo-hyun met Xu Zhiyou, besides caring about business matters, Kim Ji-soo handled everything else. She had never seen such a lazy leader.

“You even hand this over to Kim Ji-soo. Without her, you might really die.”

“She should have been the leader anyway; I’m just a temporary one.”

“We’re getting off topic. You’ve released your EP, why aren’t you promoting it? Are you really that confident, too lazy to even do a bit of promotion?”

Bae Joo-hyun was too lazy to argue with her about this topic. She still approved of Xu Zhiyou as a leader.

Kim Ji-soo was certainly excellent, but her business capabilities weren't as strong as Xu Zhiyou's. The primary responsibility of a leader was to guide and make decisions, not to be a nanny to the members.

“No more running. We’ll talk about it with the next album. This one was put together too hastily. Let the data be what it is!”

“Uh???” What does ‘put together too hastily’ mean? She understood each word separately, but when put together, she didn't understand.

“It means it was released too quickly. I didn't properly refine the MV, the audio sources, and so on. I'm not satisfied. Is this explanation okay?”

Could she say that she was stabbed in the abdomen, and singing would hurt too much? It's uncomfortable!
