281: Buy a Mi Dang Card
Thailand, night market.
Xu Zhiyou watched Kim Ji-soo pick through accessories at a stall, saying weakly, "Show, have you chosen yet?"
Kim Ji-soo didn't answer her, holding up a khaki plush rabbit and looking at Lisa, "Help me ask how much it is?"
Lisa's eyes darted around, and she whispered into her ear, "'Mai Mee Tang,' you ask yourself."
"OK," Kim Ji-soo responded, picking up the plush rabbit and holding it in front of the middle-aged uncle, "Mai Mee Tang."
"Huh???" The boss thought he had misheard.
He scratched his ear, intending to confirm again, but Kim Ji-soo shook the plush rabbit and said "Mai Mee Tang" again.
The boss's expression was even more priceless this time. He had seen her picking expensive items earlier and thought she was a big customer.
At the very end, she told him she had no money, and the key was that her expression was so self-righteous. It was truly bizarre.
"Pfft~~"
Lisa, standing nearby, saw the boss's astonished expression and was the first to burst out laughing.
"Hmm?" Even with her long reaction time, Kim Ji-soo realized Lisa was messing with her.
She quickly bowed and apologized to the boss, "Sorry, I don't speak Thai."
"Oh?" The boss also realized her friend was pranking her, waved his hand, and smiled, "It's okay."
Seeing that the boss understood the situation, Kim Ji-soo then grabbed Lisa's ear and said fiercely, "What did that sentence mean?"
"It's just a simple... Ow, it hurts~~"
Kim Ji-soo did a 180-degree Thomas flip, "If I find out you lied to me, you'll face the consequences."
"I don't have money."
Kim Ji-soo thought she was still messing with her, and her hand twisted another half circle, making Lisa spin half a circle with the pain.
She quickly explained, "Gentler, gentler, that sentence just means 'I don't have money.' If you don't believe me, ask Zoe, I really didn't lie to you."
Kim Ji-soo looked at Xu Zhiyou, suspiciously asking, "Really?"
"Lisa, you're still lying to Show Ge at a time like this. Didn't you see she almost got beaten just now? What a sin..."
Lisa turned her head, looking at Xu Zhiyou in disbelief. This girl really wanted her dead.
"Ow~~"
Just as she was about to question her, the pain from her ear interrupted her, and she could only lightly pat Kim Ji-soo's hand that was twisting her ear.
She wailed, "Unnie, I really didn't lie to you. If you don't believe me, ask the boss. It hurts so much, boo hoo hoo~~"
Seeing Lisa's wronged face, Xu Zhiyou quickly raised her hand to cover her mouth, which she was struggling to keep from smiling.
She loved seeing the stoic Show Ge lose her composure; it was good for her own mental health and didn't stop Lisa from getting beaten. Perfect.
Park Chaeyoung was even more uninhibited, after all, Lisa's misfortune was her greatest joy: "Lisa, I told you not to mess around. Now you're in trouble, aren't you? Hahahaha~~"
"Yah! Park Chaeyoung..." Lisa was furious. What kind of people were these? Not human.
"Shut up," Kim Ji-soo glared at her, "Pay for it." She then released her hand.
Lisa rubbed her ear and obediently replied, "Nae." Then she honestly went to pay.
While Lisa was paying, Park Chaeyoung nudged Xu Zhiyou with her elbow, "Hey, why do I feel like Jisoo is a bit resentful?"
After speaking, she glanced at Kim Ji-soo out of the corner of her eye and saw that she was staring at her with narrowed eyes.
"Eek~~"
Park Chaeyoung shivered in fright, quickly darting behind Xu Zhiyou to remain silent and lower her presence. Her intuition told her that keeping quiet was the safest option right now.
"Heh~~"
Kim Ji-soo looked at her cowardly posture, gave a faint cold snort, and didn't bother with her anymore.
First, she had pushed her into the drop tower seat, and now Lisa was openly messing with her.
Both of them were acting rebellious. It was just the wrong occasion, otherwise she would have gone up and kicked those nuisances a few times.
Kim Jennie looked at the two cowards and the silent Xu Zhiyou, thinking to herself, 'It still has to be the eldest sister; when she gets serious, her destructive power is truly strong.'
If Xu Zhiyou knew what Dumpling was thinking, she would probably give a 'heh heh da' as a response.
In the blink of an eye, it was early morning the next day. Xu Zhiyou was still having a sweet dream amidst the pattering rain.
She was awakened from her dream by a knocking sound: "Are you sick, not sleeping in the middle of the night!"
Park Chaeyoung outside the door heard this and uncertainly checked her phone, 'AM 7:34'.
She then looked at the bright sky outside and knocked on the door even louder: "This is our last day here, get up quickly."
Xu Zhiyou pulled the covers over her head, playing deaf.
Park Chaeyoung knocked for five minutes and, seeing no movement, shouted, "Yah, I know you're awake. If you don't get up, I'm going to get a megaphone."
"Alright, you still don't know her."
Kim Ji-soo said, and then, to their three astonished gazes, pulled out a key and unlocked the door.
Kim Ji-soo saw the three of them staring at her motionless and urged, "Why are you looking at me? Go in and wake her up."
After speaking, she walked in first. Park Chaeyoung looked at her back and said speechlessly, "You had a key, why didn't you take it out earlier? You made me bang on the door for so long. Do you think she has a problem with her brain?"
Kim Jennie nodded in agreement, "Hmm, I think so too."
Lisa sighed and resignedly said, "We can't figure out a four-dimensional brain's thought process. Let's go in." She put an arm around each of their shoulders, "Important things first."
After washing up, Xu Zhiyou sat on the living room sofa, sometimes looking at the drizzling rain outside, sometimes looking at the four of them.
Finally, she couldn't take it anymore and complained, "Rainy day? Mountain climbing? I'm curious how you four managed to combine these two words."
Lisa twisted her fingers and said weakly, "Today is the last day. Mountain climbing in the morning, massage at noon, and we have to go back tonight. This was planned."
"Girl, it's raining. Don't you know how to be flexible? Change it, sleep in the morning."
After saying that, she intended to go back to her room to sleep, but just as her foot touched her slipper, Kim Ji-soo grabbed her.
Xu Zhiyou looked back at her, "What?"
Kim Ji-soo whispered in her ear, "Lisa was busy half the night making plans. If you do this, she'll be sad."
"Show, on a rainy day, the temperature is low and the humidity is high. If you get rained on again, with your weak bodies..."
"We'll just take more medicine," Kim Ji-soo interrupted her. Seeing her look at Kim Jennie, she continued, "We've discussed it, and we all agree to go."
Xu Zhiyou rolled her eyes and pointed at her own nose, "What about me? My body isn't important, is it?"
Kim Ji-soo shrugged indifferently, "Then there's even less to worry about. You're as strong as a calf."
"Ah shi!"
"Hurry up and change, we're all ready."
Xu Zhiyou was thus pushed into the room to change.
When Kim Ji-soo turned back, she saw three pairs of resentful eyes staring at her, and she asked doubtfully, "What kind of look is that?"
Kim Jennie spoke sourly, "Unnie, aren't you two even hiding it anymore?"
Kim Ji-soo was too lazy to guess what she was thinking and said directly, "Speak like a normal person."
Kim Jennie felt so annoyed. What was it that they couldn't hear? They were whispering right in front of the three of them.
